I'm not fond of unlined bras but I bought this one as kind of a bra experiment. Maybe I dreamed it but I had read somewhere that this bra had good support for larger breasts. I liked the gateway back and low gore. It was also on sale and very inexpensive, I think $19.99. It is a smaller size then I usually buy but Freya bands are often too big for me.
It mostly fits. There is a tiny bit of wrinkling in the cups which is very visible under tops. There might be some support but no lift. I've tried to wear it a couple of times but I hate the fit and appearance. So it is off to the reject pile!
I am not a fan of this bra whatsoever. Somehow it is both too big and too small at the same time. The upper part of the cup cuts into my breast tissue, but the sides of the cup gape like it's too big. Even if it suited the shape of my bust (tall and wide roots, I just have tissue everywhere) I wouldn't keep it. The lace is stiff and feels like it's been starched permanently. Maybe with washing it would improve, but on first inspection there was no softness to the lace at all.
This is one of my favorite bras simply because of the colors and design. The colors are bright and bold and stunning. It’s so fun and so sexy. As usual in this style bra I don’t completely fill the top of the cup, no biggie for me at all. I would’ve preferred the 28E to the 30DD for the tightness of the band if I could’ve found it as cheaply priced as the 30DD. The bow on the bra is actually a fun and good looking touch.
I really wanted this one bad but the Fancies fits real weird on me so I never got this either. Looks great on you! Maybe a slight alteration of the lace would fix the gapping in it?
Thank you! Someone else today suggested altering it like that, and I never really considered doing it before today! I think I’m going to find the same shape for cheap to practice on first.
The Great Amazon Prime Wardrobe Try-On, Part 4! My shape: projected, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, FOB Fit: The gore tacks TOO well on this bad boy. It HURTS, like, digging in big time hurtage. The cups themselves are too big. The band feels nice and firm, which makes me think a 32G in this model would be too big in the band, but a 30G will be to small in the cup. Damn you, picky boobs! Appearance: This is the black version of the Hero, and it's.... OK. There's a silver bow on the tops of the straps and a smaller one at the gore. The fabric isn't very soft; this could be an issue for people with sensitive skin.
I knew this wasn't going to work for me. I've got a Fancies balcony in 32H which I've ended up liking a lot more than I thought I would, but I'm still pretty salty that all the cute details of the Fancies line (keyhole gore, cage style band, ultra-sheer cups, a billion more color choices) stop at a G cup, so I figured I'd sister size into it to see what I was missing.
For only one hook, the band was surprisingly comfortable, and didn't ride up as much as I expected (I had it on the tightest hooks and it was still admittedly too loose). I love the ...design, and all the aforementioned details. I was surprised at how small in the cup this ended up being on me, I've got a lot of quadding and the gore is nowhere near tacking, The shape is round, though I'm not getting enough lift for my tastes (which might not be reflective of the bra itself since I'm so far off from my true size). I'm disappointed, though not surprised, that this is a pretty terrible fit for me. Read more 80 more words
I love the look of this bra. The style is so unique, if it was available in something besides black and white, I'd probably keep it, even with the fit issues.
The wires are soft, and the gore doesn't tack. The shape is more rounded than unlined Freya's tend to be, which is a welcome change, although I feel like I'm not getting a ton of lift in this bra. It is also almost minimizing with the stretch lace overlay. It was very comfortable when I tried it on though, the gore is low, the wings are LOW (amazing in my size range) and the straps are thin. Some cutting in on my larger side.
When I got it a few month ago the material around the straps felt irritating and the band felt too loose. But the fit looked really good so I couldn't bring myself to return it and somehow forgot about it.
Three week ago I got a really bad bronchitis and suddenly felt strangled in my Cleo and Panache bras. Looking for something looser I gave this one another try. I soaked it and loosened the straps a little and now it is super comfortable. The cups feel so soft and nice. They have just the right amount of padding to look smooth without ...feeling bulky and warm. The shape it also great: Somewhat wider and less round then my Cleo bras but still nice and perky especially from the sides.
The wires are flexible but quite narrow (much narrower then in the Freya Rapture). They sit about 1cm behind my breast tissue and I don't feel them at all. The gore tacks but it is barely noticeable compare to my Cleo / Panache bras.
Support is surprisingly good. The band is very loose: Stretched it is about 10.5cm (4.1 inches) longer them my Cleo Marcie (http://bra.pe/XYLq/). But it stays in place just as fine and I don't have to adjust my boobs during a busy workday. But this is probably also due to the narrow strap placement and the less projected cup shape that keeps my breasts closer to the chest. It probably just felt unsupportive at first because I was so used to the death grip of my other 28F/FF bras.
My only issue is that the dots appear slightly darker on the straps which makes them looks dirty or washed out even though I have only washed it a couple of times. But overall I am very happy to have rediscovered this one and I will totally get it in more colors. Read more 211 more words
My shape: mid-height, front-facing, very close-set teardrop with tall shallow roots, max immediate projection, wide Nike swoosh roots with loads of side fullness, and very firm self-supporting tissue.
This is one of two I bought on sale at Figleaves; the other is my 30FF - Freya » Candid Longline Bra (5044) . Both are likely to be returned because neither is quite right and I don't need to keep them hanging around if I'll never really wear them. The print is pretty enough and I like how colorful it is on the true-white background - off-whites always make me look muddled.
First of all, the cups are padded ...with the same foam lining everyone knows and loves from the Patsy and other clones. The black mesh trim is not edging a separate cup panel and is only on the printed overlay. The fit is just a little off for me in tiny ways: for one, which will certainly make some ladies happy, there is a bit more center fullness than I need, likely caused by the inner vertical seam being closer to the gore than with the Patsy. It also closes a bit quickly there, like the seam has its own apex, and causes a slight pucker on me that is very much like the one I got from the 28G - Freya » Kiyoko Padded Half Cup Bra (1883) - this one is easier to see in the photos because it doesn't have a mesh overlay. There looks to be a teensy bit more projection along the outer seam than I need as well, which might be the intended apex for more east-west going Zaxes? but I certainly don't line up with it (thankfully, since cup seams and I are usually enemies, though these feel fine) and instead fall right in the center panel. It feels typically shallow at the wire, but I didn't wear it long enough for it to ride down. The top edge of the cup fits well enough, although I do quad a bit when I throw my shoulders back, and given where the wire sits on my outer tissue, I think the 28G would be better.
The wires are too steeply curved, always a complaint for me but not usually a comfort or wearability problem. In this case it is, though, because they aren't wide enough otherwise and are sitting on tissue the whole way around. They are firmer than I'm used to, too, which might be a concern for some.
The band is great! The 28 is perfect. I love longlines, even though the front edge always flips up when I lounge around or slouch. It only has 2 columns of 6 hooks, though, which is typical of Freya longlines. Hey, Freya! We want more hooks! Give us more hooks!
The straps are gorgeous, by the way. Still too wide-set, they aren't as bad as some, and they're fully adjustable. Plus they're wider than usual, and they are a beautiful white sateen stripe edged with black seams and rows of white scalloped elastic. Teeny black satin ribbon bows are the accents, which are not too over-the-top and still cute.
Back it goes! Maybe they'll have the 28G back in stock by now. Read more 429 more words
My shape is soft, low set, slightly pendulous, and narrow/short rooted.
I got the pink and black darling deco from Belle Lingerie. This bra is pretty and different looking than my other bras... it's the first 'patterned' bra that I've bought. The straps adjust long enough for my tall frame, but the band feels stretchy. I wanted to size down to a 28F in this, but I couldn't find one in stock to get at Belle Lingerie. I'll probably be wearing this on at least the second set of hooks just to get the support I need.
The bottom of this bra is shallow, and even though I can get ...it in my IMF, there is still some empty space at the very bottom of the bra where there's just not enough projection next to the wire. This works a bit in my favour though, since it pushes everything up, giving me great cleavage and rounding out my boobs at the top of the bra instead of letting them sink into the bottom. The cups themselves even appear long and shallow, so I wasn't surprized. I do get some side boobage in this bra, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm out of shape, because the wings are short, or because I sized down from a 30F to 30E?? The edge of the cups show through tight tank tops/t-shirts. I think the regular deco would be nicer in this way, as the regular deco doesn't have the same edging material on the cups.
Overall good comfort and nice cleavage. Read more 150 more words
Idk, that looks too small to me. Not because of the side boobage, but because your boobs are not securely in the bra. I dont think the bra is supposed to be quite that low coverage. But i could be wrong.
Haha, I'm not sure either but I do like the cleavage. I have a hard time getting much cleavage out of any bra, so I was like "oh yeah". You might be right though, it could be a bit too small. I think the next size up would gape though (it's a classic problem of mine since I'm always between sizes).
I have a 32DD in the Spotlight version which I just added, though it’s not a new bra for me. I’m thinking of getting another Deco, only sizing down to the 30 band...but unsure of cup size because I have some slight quadding in the current model, so the E would probably also spill over, but I’d worry that the F would gap too much. Anyway, I think this looks great on you but unsure for you if the 30F would be better. I know I freaking love the cleavage from this, and the basketball boob shape I get. It’s boob armour, and a bit hot in warm weather, but is so nice to feel so pretty in.
If you like it, wear it! My boobs are so squishy that I'd fall out of a bra like that, but thats my problem lol
Calluna I thought about getting the spotlight version, as I tried it on once before (in a too large size), but I couldn't find it. I could have definitely sized down in the band. Sounds like we're in the same boat with sizing. I love the cleavage too!
I believe this would be a great fit for someone who is narrow and projected. Me, I am wide and somewhat shallow to average projection I think. The width is actually great for me but it is too deep. I think a 30e would be too narrow and too closed on top. I have tall roots and sadly the plunges are just a shape mismatch for me. It's too bad because the color way, the embroidery, and the adorable neon yellow feather charm in the middle is just gorgeous.
How I love this botanical print! It looks beautiful on you :-) :-) Like you, the Freya plunges don't work for me either, but how I adore some of the botanical fabrics.
I gave up on Freya plunges too. I can't fill the apex of the cup. If I size up a band and down a cup (and then take in the band) they fit for 2 weeks out of my cycle, but then I get major quadding for the other 2 weeks.
Try Bravissimo. I just got 2 styles that work. A plunge and a balconette. The balconette style is slightly loose on top, but the lace on that part of the cup is so fine it doesn't create visible bunching even with a thin t-shirt on!
hi Onceuponababe, the Freya padded halfcups work for me and I love their prints, like Love4Pollinators :) I just need to remember to stay away from their plunges but sometimes it's hard to resist!!
Ooh! The feather detail! I have 2 Freyas on the way to me, so I hopefully can narrow down my size as it’s been a while since might last Freya plunge soft/unlined bra. I got a Pollyanna in 32DD about 8 years ago. When I try it now, cuts in as I’m now swooping and scooping, and I’ve gone down in my band size. And I’m told my more recent Deco fits in its own category. So I’m looking at 28F, 30E, 30F...will have to see how the 28F Fancies plunge and 30E Kiyoko half cup work out. I’ll keep this one in mind...
Calluna - cool! The halfcups are a better fit for me so I'd be up for swapping for that possibly!
renemy im a fan of basketball boobs so I’m going to see if the Kiyoko half cup will work. I remember trying the Patsy half cup in fall 2016 and liking it but being unsure about my size in it because I was in 32DD at the time and that was huge on me. But I’m also wasn’t swooping and scooping which would likely have aided in finding the right size. I think that I was in between the 30E and 30DD (swooping and scooping would have probably made the 30E fit. But I’ve gone from 32 bands to 30, on average, so now I don’t know how the Freyas will fit in the band, which is partly why I got the 2 different sizes. I’m not sure if the half cup will work because I need projection at the wire or it slips from my IMF. I didn’t know that TIL recently so even though I thought Patsy was good, it’s possible that it was not, actually. I’m not going to have my bras until mid to late February, as they’re being sent from England to my friend in Los Angeles. The order is expected to arrive between February 12-28. I’m hoping it’s earlier since I’m only in LA from the 15th-20th (with travel on those days). I’m going to have to have my friend mail me if they don’t arrive while I’m there. Had I known that it would take that long, I’d have ordered a week earlier. Anyway, feel free to message me later next month regarding the half cup.
renemy I have a Freya mode padded half cup. I like the fit EXCEPT the outter layer of fabric gets weird puckers and the seams are THICK, So it shows through alot of tops. I'd like to try another model to see if it's any different, or try an unpadded half cup...just not sure what size because I like wires to be wider, near 13cm which is not what most 30DD are. I can alter bands though
Style Nothing fancy but I definitely needed a black bra that doesn't cause too much attention under clothes.
Sizing / fit I am impressed by how well this fits. I had a problem with the wires of my 30F Freya Rapture being way too wide and too flexible. These are more like cleo wires. They are really firm and somewhat narrower. So they follow my IMF more closely. The band is very snug, comparable to my Panache Jasmine in the same size. Maybe a 30E/F would have worked as well. The cups are true to size with a bit more space at the top compared to the Rapture and the fabric ...is thick enough to keep my nipples down even if it's cold. Overall it feels extremely supportive and makes a really nice round shape. Though not as round as my Cleo Marcie http://bra.pe/XYLq/ which is my new benchmark for roundness https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
Quality Everything feels really soft and comfy. The straps on my Freya Patsy are a bit rough and have seems that tend to chafe my shoulders. These are smooth and a bit thicker which feels soo much better. The same goes for fabric around the band which actually provides some support unlike the mesh in most of my cleo / panache bras. This also prevents the elastic from cutting in too much. But I guess I could also make it less breathable. So maybe it is more of a winter bra. I have it for about three month now and it didn't stretch out at all. Read more 153 more words
This looks amazing on you! I love the colour of this bra (it's dark green right?), I've thought about getting it numerous times, but now that I see if "in real life", I want it even more!
No, it's actually black and the pink also looks a bit pale on the photos.
Well it's still a nice looking bra, haha! I think they do make a green model if I am thinking of the right bra. Anyways, it looks good on you.
Thank you!
What is your snug measurement? I’m considering this bra but I’m unsure if if I should go 28F or 30E in it.
Calluna I measure 73.5 (28.94 inches) snug and 69.5 (27.36 inches) tight (exhaled). But I like my bands really snug.
aboobaccount my snug measurements run between 28.75 inches and 29.75 inches depending on who’s taking them. My tight is 28 inches to 28.75 inches but not sure if either were exhaled measurements. I’ve been in 32 bands for a while but have felt like most 32 bands are in the looser side and 30 bands feel a little bit too snug like I really need 31 which doesn’t exist. So I’ve been trying for tight 32s.
But I’ve been told that Freya bands run bigger now (compared with my ancient Pollyanna which was a 32DD) which is why I am considering the 28 bands with them.
Calluna This one doesn't run loose! It fits tighter then my Freya Petsy and Starlet. If your (exhaled) tight measurement is larger then mine then you will probably be fine in a 30. Especially if you don't have much padding around your ribs.
This bra fits! It was a bit of a surprise, to be honest, because I haven't had a lot of luck with soft cup bras. I don't get any wrinkling or quadding! Yay! The cups are very projected and very closed at the top. I would probably get quadding if my breasts had more even fullness, but luckily it works well with my FOB breasts. I get a nice rounded shape from the bra, not at all pointy. My only criticism with the fit is that it really pulls my breasts away from each other, and it doesn't give a lot of lift. Still, the bra is very ...comfortable and I feel well supported.
The construction of the bra wasn't quite as good as most Freya bras. The cup is made of two layers - a satiny fabric and a layer of soft mesh. The satin fabric is sewn in two parts, and the mesh layers has three parts. The two layers aren't sewn together, except at the edges. Because of that I got some weird bunching of the mesh the first time I put it on. The elastic around the armpits doesn't sit flat against my body - it almost looks like ruffles. It doesn't show through clothing, fortunately, but it is still odd. I found the band pretty true to size.
I haven't decided if Zen is a keeper or not yet. Read more 124 more words
I'm both happy and disappointed with this bra. I'm happy because it's fits me perfectly! The band is nice and tight and the cups are tall and deep enough for me. When I bend over, I don't feel like my boobs are going to fall out! The bra lifts and rounds well, giving me the soft hills look. The straps are inlaid with the same print as the cups, which is a really nice detail. For a seamed bra, everything lays pretty flat, so the texture shouldn't be too visible under clothes.
But the bra doesn't quite look like the stock photo. The floral print on my bra is ...a lot darker than the one in the stock photo. It is the same print, but I didn't get the round flowers nicely centred between the seams - I got random bits of flowers that give a much darker tone to the bra. Also the white decorative strip at the top of my bra is a lot thicker. It changes the appearance from looking like a white bra with flowers and decorative trim, to a half white, half floral print bra. It's not ugly - I would still have bought it. It's just not quite what I expected. Read more 98 more words
I see what you mean - in the advertising for this model it looks much more summery. Still a lovely print, but darker, as you said. I'm glad it fits well though :) !
It differs enough that it almost looks like a different model.
I had been lusting after this bra from the moment it appeared - its based on the Fauve Chloe Vertical Seam (a gorgeous, elegant bra I tried on once and fantasized about ever since). So much more sensual than its balcony sister - the halfcup cut and vertical seam created a cakes on a plate sex appeal that the balcony version couldn't quite reach. The little polka dot blue bows could be overlooked - sure they're more whimsy than sexy, but they were small and unobtrusive. I was willing to take this bra or any of its sister cuts (Fauve Chloe, Fantasie Allegra) in any color, but ...I loved the basic black most of all. So the minute one appeared in my local Nordstroms Rack, I knew I had to have it. Finally, this sexy, seductive bra was mine! Alas... I never got around to wearing it for more than half an hour at a time. Falling prey to the same problem I was plagued with in Freya halfcups - too wide wires painfully digging in to my uncushioned (and thus unprotected) side ribs -this bra became unwearable for me. I was willing to ignore the fact that it was too shallow, or that I got major quadding every time I breathed, but the pain in my sides was too much. It was as painful as a Panache bra (also unwearable for me due to firm wires that dig in). This surprised me because the Freya Marvel (also a shallow, wider bra) was never so painful. Perhaps its because the Marvel has that "side sling" sort of cut rather than a pure vertical seam. To be fair, this bra is probably a size too small (I wear a 30F in Freya balcony bras because they are so wonderfully deep, but fit a 30FF in halfcups - my EMs are all 65FF too) - sadly, this style is not made beyond an F cup to test if a different size would be a better fit.

I'm quite pleased with this bra! It's super comfy, the Polka dots make me happy and the band feels like it isn't even there.
In fact, my only problem with the bra, isn't the bras fault. (As far as I know) It fits my right side perfectly, but my left doesn't perfectly fill the cup, so the rim shows a bit under shirts which is annoying. Maybe some fillers will fix that?
I'm even to fot; (mainly my right side, so I did worry that this cup might be too closed on top but for me it was fine). I think I'm not as shallow as this was ...made for, but it feels and looks fine so I'm not bothered.
The straps are wide, which is ok, but when I'm sitting curled up reading, the loopy edge on them rubs a bit. I'll probably get used to it. Part of me wonders if I got a size down, would the left fit better but would the right quadboob? If only I could try different sizes in a store!
For now this'll be my t-shirt bra, till I find one that really doesn't show under! Read more 88 more words
In my experience with this bra, the cup edge showed under shirts, too. Hope you find an easy solution to what I perceive is a design flaw. Best wishes!! Wacoal's La Femme and Lace Affair Contour bras hide perfectly under thin knits. And, their 32 band measures like a 30 band.....if you want other options ;-)
Love4Pollinators Oh thank you! I haven't tried Wacoal, but now I'll be on the lookout for those particular styles. And I'll remember to try a 32E. I actually just found there's a store an hour from me that carries this brand and some UK brands in my size, so I might just find something that works. :D
I SO hope you find something you love that also fits and hides effortlessly under thin knits.
This bra is crafted with very soft fabric, almost velvety and smooth, reminiscent of the comfy numbers your grandma swears by, and for good reason. Although not padded as Freya's deco line, and not as sheer and meshy as they are prone to do, Marvel is a good marriage of practical middle-ground. The wires are none too high, and perfect for smaller frames with the usual issue of underarm tallness, which this bra has none of. Almost a little too short on the wires, some side spillover is slightly evident when arms are at side. this marvel is perfect for almost-even fullness, and even full-on-tops as the wide top opening of the cups allow more tissue up top to fill out.
I had no experience with Freya padded half cups, but I liked this print, so I took a chance and ordered it - though in theory this style shouldn't work for me, as I'm projected, narrow-rooted, centre-full and need a lot of depth at the wire, and I'd read that the Freya padded half cup styles are in general shallow and wide. This one seems...okay? on me.
Yes, the wires are too wide, there is empty space in the sides of the cups, the gore doesn't tack and the cup design pushes my breasts up rather than out. But it pushes my centre fullness up without quadding and gives some cleavage, while still giving decent support. I like the thin padding which shapes and uplifts my soft breast tissue, however, the shape at the front of the cup/apex seems a little flattened, not round or forward enough, which I find odd and unflattering. I do need to wear an extender for the band to feel comfortable around my ribcage until it stretches out.
Shape mismatch this time. Loose fabric at upper edge makes you think it's too large, but if the gore does not tack, you need more volume. The Gaia Vivien also needs more volume, but it's a better shape for you, looks like.
My shape: front-facing, mid-height, very close-set teardrop with tall shallow roots, lots of lower projection/depth, more side fullness and wide Nike-swoosh shaped roots, and self-supporting firm tissue
This was the last one available on clearance at Figleaves, and since it was discontinued a while ago, I jumped at the chance to try it! The print is bright and colorful, and while not my favorite, it's accented prettily and I could grow to like it. I probably won't have the chance to, though, because holy wow, this is tight. Ladies who want Freya 26s, find one of these on ebay! It's so tight on me that the eyelet lace edging ...distorts and flips even when I'm standing straight up and not slouching. I don't know if this was a one-off different sloper/model they decided to try, or perhaps an older band style I'm unfamiliar with, but I've never experienced a Freya band this small. It has 3 rows of two hooks (3.8 cm tall at the narrowest), but I'm not sure I could even get away with just a single extender. Crazy!
The tight band made all the other fit problems inescapable, too: whereas my 28G - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) is a bit shallow on the draft, I can get a little lift from it due to the band support, but between my breasts pushing down on the wire trying to find more space and the band trying to find a smaller spot lower on my ribcage, this one was doomed from the start. It's otherwise a fairly good fit, with a smooth upper edge (mostly) and a wide-enough wire. I wish the wings were taller because I have full side roots that like to bulge over, but self-supporting tissue means it doesn't actually spill out, and other ladies might prefer the lower wire and wing.
I wouldn't exactly call this a mean, stabby gore, because the wires aren't poking: it's just being smashed into my chest by the super-tight band. It is too tall, but so are basically all balconette styles on me (does a half-cup bra with a Victoria Secret plunge gore exist? I doubt it!). Curiously, there is no extra space in the wire channel, one of the reasons I wondered if this was an older model, because all the newest Patsy clones I've tried have a cm or more to play with, so if the gore IS pokey, they can be pushed out to the sides for some relief.
The straps are only half-adjustable, too. Definitely not for me. Back to the store it goes! Read more 323 more words
Thanks for the detailed and informative review! Interesting to hear about a Freya that could fit like a 26. Too bad I can't find it in my size online anymore!
Just measured it: 23" unstretched. 23 inches! That means it might be better for someone who really needs a 24, because it barely stretches to 30". What on earth??
Unstretched is not what you want to look for when trying to find your band size. This bra shows 31.7" stretched. So this is a looser fitting 28. Or someone needs to measure their bras more accurately. 8" is double the amount of suggested stretch in a band. It would make it seem this bra is quite flimsy.
If your ribcage measures 24" for example, you wouldn't want a bra that measures that in its unstretched state. Of what use are the extra eyes? That would be like putting an elastic in your hair and not wrapping it around anymore. It's going to fall out.
This IS NOT a good bra recommendation for those needing a size 26 band.
I did specify someone who needs a 26 in Freya, since they are known to be stretchier. It is extremely tight on me, and all my other current Freya half-cups are 28s. Unfortunately, I can't re-measure, although I did 3 or 3 times, because I returned the bra.
80.6 cm was the maximum band stretch. Regular, comfortable band stretch (as it might fit while wearing it) was less than 10cm, to about 70.1.
My shape: mid-height, front-facing, very close-set teardrop with tall shallow roots, loads of depth at the lower wire, even more side fullness with wide rib-wrapping Nike-swoosh shaped side roots, and firm self-supporting tissue that apparently makes it look superficially like almost every bra fits at first glance!
I got this bra along with the 28FF - Freya » Candid Longline Bra (5044) on sale from Figleaves. As I suspected, this one is also not quite right, and I'll have to go in search of a 28G instead to get as close to ideal as possible.
The cups are better on me than the 28FF, which is as ...I suspected. They might look a tiny bit loose and wrinkly in the photos, but I think a 28 band would put the proper tension on the wires. This one also doesn't have the noticeable poof at the inner cup seam, although the extra inner-fullness is a bit more noticeable on my lack-of-it (but not the sort of noticeable that shows up under clothes!). Even though the longline style means that the size difference is visually unnoticeable, it could scooch down to push the wires out of my IMF by about 1/2 a cm in the time it took to finish the photos, making the shallowness at the base of the cup more obvious.
My only real concern about the 28G is that the straps will likely be in the same place on the cups, and while they were too far out (typically for Freya half-cups) but tolerable on the 28FF, they are even farther out on this one and make the top edge of the cups buckle.

This seems to fit me well for a moulded plunge bra. Although there is slight quadboob towards the centre, the plunge cut allows room for my centre fullness without my breasts falling out the middle, and the foam cups keep me lifted and contained. The cups do seem a bit wide as the underwire ends near the back of my armpit and there is empty space in the side of the cups, but this bra is comfortable enough to wear for a day.
Beautiful colour and great price. Too bad that it’s not the fit you’ve after.
