Beautiful cut and fabric - very smooth. At first when I tried it on, I thought it was a good fit, but was annoyed at the extra fabric below the underwires curling up. After not being too keen on the look very much, I did it on the tighter hook and discovered I could do it up on the tightest to get the most support. On the tightest hook the curling of the fabric below the cups wasn't a problem, but I would definitely need a 32GG in this bra, which doesn't exist. I am going to try take it in somehow to make the band smaller. Having said that, it does give a good shape and it is a lovely comfortable bra.
UPDATE March 2013: Since tissue migration, I'm now a 32H/HH. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Even if I had been able to alter the band on the 34G, the cups would be at least a cup size too small.
This bra fits me pretty well, although there is some wrinkling at the top. The gore comes up to high, and so it doesn't sit perfectly flat. I think if I tried a 30G, I'd quadraboob, so I'll live with it for now. I've only had it since November, but the band is already getting stretched out a bit.
I felt uncomfortable doing the wire length, so that may or may not be accurate in my measuring. I don't think I'm doing it right.
Six hooks! Six hooks are awesome. I get no back/side flab and can loosen the shoulder straps to the point where they are basically decoration. The extra hooks mean that I'm not getting the cutting into my ribcage that I was with other 30 bands (more of an issue with Panache than Freya). It gives an attractive, rounded shape.
I can't decide whether it's true love though.
It takes a bit of shimmying in the morning to get it in the right position. I assume this is because the band so reliably stays where it's put that I have to be careful where I put it. The front elastic folds up during the day and this problem is only getting worse. I think the first time it was fine because the elastic was fresh but as it stretches out it folds more. I'm sure there's some fix though I object on principle to having to alter bras in ways like this.
This is a beautiful bra, and fits me perfectly. The fabric is fairly stiff, but I'm hoping it will soften after washing. It does have a very upfront look, but this may lessen slightly after washing. I had the lyla in a 30f, but I found it to be too small and gave a pointy shape, but now that I have the correct size, the pointy-ness has gone.
This bra fit so perfectly when I first got it. Now it feels like the band has loosened so I’ve moved up to the middle hook. I’ve tried to wear it on the tightest hook but then I start to get sharp pains in my sternum and have trouble breathing after a couple of hours. I’ve noticed recently that the wires in my armpit may not come up high enough since I can feel some tissue trying to escape above it.

I love the wear this bra looks on me, and gives a very rounded shape (side profile) and pushes them together - this makes me look a lot bigger than other bras I wear, not necessarily a bad thing (looks fab in t-shirts!). The quality of the cup material is good, very comfortable, sturdy and soft. Original fit was great but I do not think I would buy this bra again despite loving the look upon having it for 2 months now. It does not appear to fit me correctly; on my larger left breast, there is wrinkling at the bottom of the bra while none on my smaller right breast. I think it is an issue of my type of breast shape not suiting the bra. For clarification, I have a rounded breast shape that project (need narrow wires).
The band is large on me and stretchy to boot. The cups don't fit either, too big, lots of wrinkling at the top of the cup. Torpedo boobs fire away! That said, it is a surprising comfortable bra and I suspect that ladies with more top heavy boobs wearing this bra in their correct size would find it a comfortable fit.
This is supposed to be the same bra as the Feya Deco except with stripes, but if it is, it is cut VERY differently. Other reviews suggested this bra is one cup size smaller than the Deco. To be safe, I ordered it in 34G (my normal size), 36FF (normal sister size), and 34GG. Out of them all, the 34GG fit the best, and that still wasn't great. It didn't give me a good shape at all compared to my 34G Deco. And since I had to go up a cup size for a good fit, the cups were a tiny bit too big. I had a wee bit of extra space at the bottom.
I wouldn't recommend this bra if you like the Deco. I don't think it's ANYTHING like it.
I wanted to love this bra because it was red and plunge, but, I couldn't get the cups to work. When I originally bought it I thought that after changing cup sizes a few times I could get them to work. I wore it a handful of times more and have decided I just can't make it work. I'm really sad because it's a really cute bra!
This bra is beautiful, but, it just doesn't fit me anymore. I wore it a few times but the cups are just too big and I can't fill them. The are nice and soft and will conform to your shape which is awesome but, I still can't fill them, I'm a 30F now not FF. This is very depressing because the bra is very comfortable and provides gorgeous cleavage.
Similarly to other reviewers, I had the following issues: Cons: - The band on this bra is far too big. In Panache, I can just fit into 38 band. For this bra, I had to fasten it on the tightest hook and it is still too big. - The center gore sticks out at the top. I don't think it's completely due to the band size. Someone else had mentioned the wires seeming a bit flimsy, and I agree with that. - The cups are wide, and my breasts have a bit of a cockeyed look. ()
Pros: - Very comfortable. The sides don't poke in, and the cup is very soft. The cup material is slightly stretchy. - Good quality materials, sturdy construction. - Cute color, I like the style.
Overall impression: I'd return this bra if I could, but it was on clearance. I will probably wear this bra as an everyday bra, until the band stretches too much to be useful. Then I might take out the underwires and use it as an overnight bra.
I got this bra in the "lime dot" colorway from HerRoom on sale. This is the first Freya bra I've ever tried. The band feels pretty stretchy/loose - it's not riding up yet but I can pull it quite a ways from my back (I heard Freya bands run pretty big anyway). I didn't notice until after I'd already bought it that all the reviews said the cup runs small - it totally does. The top of the cup cuts in on both sides, instead of having the usual problem where it's only on the left side.
The straps are wider than I like but since the pattern ...is so cute they don't look that bad. I wish the mesh were less see-through so that the cup would stay the same color as the straps, but that's probably got more to do with my skin color than the bra.
I've read that Freya bras are pointy. I can definitely see that... As soon as I realized it ran small in the cups I ordered another one a cup size up, so we'll see how that goes when it gets here. Read more 83 more words
When I first put on this bra, I was certain that the cups were too big (although I am a 32FF in most other bras). After a lot of scooping the bra looks like a good fit, but there is still some slight gaping at the bottom of the cups, while the breasts are almost wholly encased in the cups - I'm not sure I like this look. I'll "break in" the bra and see if I need to go down a cup size. The 32 back is OK, and doesn't look like it will stretch too much. When I first wore the bra, the band left a red mark, but several wears later everything is nice and comfortable. However, I suspect that this style is not the best for my breast shape...
Got this from a Bratabase member, so the band has already been relaxed. Band is very snug, but not uncomfortable. Straps are far too far apart, which creates a wrinkling in the top of the cup. If I could wear the straps wider, the cup would fit perfectly. I have narrow, sloping shoulders.
My apex is not where the bra seems to want the apex to be (I am lower and more forward--the seams on this bra meet higher and slightly more east/west). It gives me the rounded look many women seem to love, but rounded means my arms brush my boobs when I lift my arms because ...the boobs are now slightly wider than my torso.
Although I fill the bottom, I have this slight feeling of orange in glass--very slight but it's there (just a little more cup left over at the bottom, maybe 1/4 inch). Since the wires form a wider, more open bottom-of-the-U, I'm not sure why this would be.
So this bra will go into my rotation because it fits better than a couple I am no longer wearing, but it's convincing me I am not a Freya type.
Update Mar 1: Just can't make it work. the band is about 1/2 inch too short, and adding an extender makes the straps fall off (well, not really fall off since they are then too wide to even sit on my shoulders). The round shape is fine from a profile view but straight on it looks (to me anyway) like I have two large balloons on my chest. Read more 153 more words
Of all the Freya bras I've tried, the pollyanna is my favourite. The shape and support are perfect. However I do wear it in a size smaller than most of my other bras, so it runs a little big.
