I'm a big fan of the Deco style in general, and this is no exception. The cups, as with the other "ribbon" style Deco (Carly) that I own, runs about a cup size small compared to un-ribboned Decos.
I bought this from another bratabase user, but it was new with tags. I can say that the band fits a bit tighter than my other brand new Decos have in the pats (which is a big plus for me as I'm on the small end of a 30 band), and it's perfect on the second hook (so, still a bit large). The style and detailing is exceptional, and it gives ...that beautiful rounded Deco silhouette under clothing, and looks fabulous out of clothing, as well.
I always find Decos comfortable and flattering, and this is no exception. I am small framed with fairly large, close-together breasts. Definitely very happy I decided to get this one! I think some of my other Decos are starting to show their age and large amount of wear, so it's good to have a fresh one to compare against! Read more 73 more words
This is an absolutely beautifully detailed bra, but it runs small compared to other Decos, and I feel like the strap is slightly looser, as well. However, I purchased this bra secondhand, so perhaps previous wear loosened the straps? I still wear it though I have a little bit of quadboob in it, and it has held up well so far.
The Deco style generally fits really well for me, and this is no exception, other than that it runs a bit smaller and I should have gone a cup size up as a result.
I love this cut and really wish it came in a 28GG. Other than the band being enormous on me, this bra fits perfectly. (I'll alter it to fit, it would just be nice not to have to.)
The pattern is cute, and the three-part cup gives a nice rounded shape.
Only minor complaint, is that the patterned mesh layer seems a little bigger than the foam layer, so it doesn't lay completely flat, even though the cups are filled correctly. (It would be noticeable through a very tight t-shirt, but doesn't show through regular t-shirts.)
This bra is gorgeous, with striped cups and chocolate velvet ribbons. I'd read that the cup isn't nearly as generous as the Deco, and to size up, but the 28FF was definitely too big. The band was still loose on the tightest hook, so it wasn't worth seeing if the 28F would fit better. The cups were really tall, and it's only the last half-inch that stood away from my chest. It fit alright with my shoulders all the way back, but you could still clearly see the line of the top of the cup through even medium shirts.
Surprise padding! Your mileage may vary but I was thrilled to find graduated pads in the cups of this bra. I spent at least five minutes in the mirror marveling at my greatly enhanced cleavage. I have to say, I wish there more padded bras available in this size.
On the down side, the shape is unusually wide as viewed from the front. I'm not entirely sure why this is, but it's the only reason why this isn't my favorite bra, that and Freya's loose 28 back bands.
These drawbacks aside, it's a much better bra than the regular Deco if you happen to have a short torso and/or bottom heavy breasts.
This band is super stretchy, though the strap is pretty much not stretchy at all.
I actually quite like the fabric on this one, it's a smooth, fairly thick fabric. The three piece cup feels well made and I really wish it fit me. Unfortunately, it doesn't. The cup wrinkles too much , though the dimensions feel right besides the depth. The strap placement feels really comfortable.
As this is too big in both the band and cup size I won't be keeping it.
After hearing all the good things about the Deco, I finally found one in my size and price range. I wear a 28F. The band is perfect. It is very snug and doesn't move much. The cups fit good. I've never had cleavage from a bra. In fact, I didn't know plunges were even supposed to give cleavage after wearing 34B and 34C in the past.
The quality is good. It feels sturdy and well put together. I got a pre-owned one and it still feels tight and new. It gives me great support. I love the rounded shape I get. It works great under t-shirts but under a ...shirt I wore you could see the top edge of the cup, not a big deal.
My only issue is kind of strange but doesn't effect the fit. The cup at the bottom kind of dents in near the center. It's worse when I slouch. I don't know if it is because I'm not filling or overfilling it. Like I said, it isn't noticeable nor does it affect how it fits/supports.
Overall, like others, I love the Freya Deco and want more colors. I would also like to try the half cup version. Read more 92 more words
This bra is comfortable but the cups don't work. It doesn't quite cover up near my underarms, but I don't fill the cups. After a heavy swoop and scoop, I'm quad boobing on my larger breast, and wrinkles appear near the nipple area.
Band and underwires near the centre are very comfortable though.
Like the other reviewer, I am sad about this bras fit on the top. While everything is fantastic and comfortable, the fact that the top gapes and is moulded means that it is visible through clothes and is not for every day.
This is the most comfortable band/underwire combination for me but the top of the cups just don't work for my shallow breasts.
Great bra - like all bras based on Polyanna. good support, great, round shape and very comfortable. One thing I don't like - band is quite tight (for my 72cm) and I have to wear it with extender.
This bra in 28 E was way too tall for me too. I have never had a plunge bra that was this small in the bottom and this tall and too open on top for me. IMO this bra was different than othrr plunges. I liked the Curvy Kate elegance in 28FF a lot better. The only reason I returned the CK Elegance is because it was a cup size too small.
My first experience with Freya (I've tried Deco, but only it the shop). Wow, the band is pretty stretchy! The bra is nice, but it gives me strange shape (http://media.bratabase.com/cache/82/4e/824e03659de83d65be617824f1ccc5d8.jpg). The bra is too big in the cups (too much space), so it might be caused by it. Also the wires are too wide. And maybe it's problem of 4-part-cup style. I prefer rounded shape, so I will try two-part-cup or buy another Ewa's bra (probably on order). It looks better on the screen than in the real life. I will update this review, when my Freya Piper arrive. I order cup size down, so we will see. I will compare these. The cups were too high and stood away from my breasts at the top. It was okay if I stood up very straight and scooped things in toward the middle, but if I hunched over at all the gap became very apparent. Looked nice, good quality, but I would need a 28C, which they don't make. Returned it.
I tend to get a bit of quad-boob with this bra, but only on the top of my breasts and it's slight but still noticeable ( to me, at least). The fabric is very comfortable and very nice. Pros are it's a beautiful cut, but cons may be that it might not fit your breast shape the best, but that is dependent on the person.
