The straps are too far apart, which just suggests that balcony bras are not great for me. The wires are wide enough and the gore low enough (when I push the wires down through the channels). But the wire will not stay in my IMF and there’s a lot of wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. I think this is the correct size for me, so this could indicate not enough immediate projection, or just a shape mismatch. Overall, it wasn’t supportive enough or the right shape for me, so I have to return it.
Edit: the band is probably too tight and causing the wires to distort, so I need larger band sizes. My shape is: very wide roots, short/med root height, close set, med projection, slightly center-full, and functionally full-on-bottom.
The largest band that I could find this in was 38, and it was too tight for me. More importantly, the cups run quite large (wish I had realized that before buying it, but at least I can still return it). I think I could have sized down 2 cups sizes. Despite the best swoop and scoop I could manage, I did not even remotely fill the cups...it was lowkey comical. Not a good match for my shape, as I don't have enough upper fullness for this style, but the wires are nice and wide.
My usual size is 40F in UK sizing. My shape is: very wide roots, short/med root height, close set, med projection, slightly center-full, and functionally full-on-bottom.
It's not the best fitting bra I've owned but the 36K is comfortable enough to add to my wear to work rotation for now. I don't think I will be able to wear it for long because I have to put it on the tightest hooks to get the wires to spring and keep the gore from twisting. It was on sale for $34USD, I would have returned it at full price.
Note, I have gained some weight and I ordered the same bra in multiple sizes including 34K which is what I wear in my best fitting bra, a Panache Jasmine. The band on the Freya 34K was a correct fit but the cups were too small and cut into my breasts. Being close-set and full-on-top in this size range is a challenge! I want to try Polish but the conversions are intimidating and the risk seems higher given the cost of Ewa.
Fit pretty well. The stretch lace on the top section of the cup is a nice feature. I do have to adjust where the side seam of the wing sits on my ribs or I get a sore spot, but it's very comfortable once I do. I'm amazed at the difference wearing ABTF makes in how clothes/silhouette look. Kept this one and bought a second in Mineral Grey.
A few major issues with this one for me. The gore is painful- it digs into my sternum. I can't honestly tell if it is because it is too high or too low. The underwire on this bra is very firm and thick so I can't bend it away. The udnerwire goes too far under my arms toward my back which means there is space in the side of the cup that my breast tissue isn't in. I'm also getting some wrinkles in the lower cup where the underwire and my inframammary fold don't align right. Finally, the straps are set too wide for me.
Nothing about this bra works for me. I know molded cups are hard to fit, but this was laughable. The shape makes it feel both too small and look too big.
The underwire wants to sit about an inch below my inframammary fold. The cup then collapses and wrinkles, while my breast tissue is pushed up. The cup isn't deep enough at the apex, so it feels tight. But then there is space in the top of the cup that my tissue isn't filling. Obvious shape issue.
The straps are a bit wide set for me and the cup comes up too high under my arms.
I think my shape is simply not suited to the Starlight. The 28FF/30F fits me with a bit of quadboob, so I sized up to a 28G. Unfortunately, the 28G comes up too high in my armpit/TOS area which makes wearing it uncomfortable. I also have shifted into 30 bands so it feels too tight as well. I would recommend this bra to someone who wants an everyday bra that has a more bottom-full shape. It's a great bra! Just not for full-on-top boobs.
Band/Straps: * The band was comfortable enough on the middle hook. * The fabric was soft, but the stitching was subpar in a few places. For example, the straps were barely attached, and the corners would have irritated my breast tissue if the cups had fit correctly. * The straps were uncomfortable and were too wide.
Cups: * The fit was off; the cups were way too big with a lot of gaps on top. I also tried the 30FF and had the same problem. I think this shape just doesn't work for me.
Gore/Underwire: * The wires seemed to properly wrap around my boob, and didn't dig into my armpit. * The center gore was ok, maybe slightly wide for me, but not uncomfortably so.

6 month check in after an entire year of searching and finally finding a replacement for 30DD fearne at a smaller measurement, which was not the business.
Fearne in this size has much wider elastic straps which are heavily reinforced along full length so stretch is limited to about half the full potential. The underwires are a low set short, wide U shape and moderately stiff, there's still a good bit of give to them compared to Panache wires. On the whole this style feels fuller than my bravissimo mae or marguerite, which feel moreso than fantasies' elodie and estelle
The depth of the cup is the most ...interesting aspect of this bra. It's made from a bonded satiny poly fabric which is smooth and non irritating, it has no mechanical give in it whatsoever. There's a slight side support feel to this style and is more 'open' or roomy in the immediate inch out from the wire that I personally find to be a great relief as cups which are flattening or vaguely conical in build don't work at all with my hard breasts' or how their roots protrude directly outward from chest wall. This is a great strapless bra that has been worn maybe a couple of times. I do not have the attachable strap, this is just the bra. No stains or tears…not even stretched out. It’s like new! Handwashed.
(Novermber 2022) I finally!!! Tracked down one of these in 28H. After a whole year. The immediate projection is nice but there are some troubling closed off areas at the very bottom of cup just off the side (at gore and the wing, about 1/2" from the wire). Currently it's a pretty decent match for my fit needs... after tacking down the spare height at center, and swapping the nasty wires for thinner ones.
While it's not as vertically short as Bravissimo Alana or quite as closed in on the top as Alana, it's a similar fit/feel.
(October 2021) Pretty sure a size down in the band and at least a size up in the cup would help with the fit in this style.
I wear 32DD in Panache Cari (fits great), so I decided to try the same size in this bra. The band was much too big, unfortunately. The cups fits pretty well, but the straps are too wide set, so when I move my arms the cups gape a bit.
The band is so much stretchier than those on my other bras that I had to size down. Limited availability meant that I had to take a cup size smaller than my usual sister size, but it fit well enough and only cuts in slightly across the top, which isn't visible through shirts. The honeycomb color is very pretty. The sheerness of the mesh and the stretchiness of the band means that it's almost imperceptible when worn. Consider getting a smaller sister size, especially at the smaller band sizes where each extra inch makes a big difference in support.
