While I was a 30DD, this bra only fit with an extender. Without it, the cups distorted and cut in. Otherwise, I liked this bra very much. The shape was good, and the fit was comfortable aside from the gore being too high and pokey.
Ever since my boobs sorta grew a little, I found that the Freya Deco has become amazing in regards to shape and lift. The 28E wires are wider than 28DD, allowing my boobs to somewhat fit in them. I think 28F wires would be more comfortable on me though. (I decided to switch out the wires with more flexible ones that didn't hurt my ribcage).
The Deco Honey has really open cups, I gap a little when I hunch over or move, so I decided to stuff some pads in it and that has improved cleavage and fit.
The band is also much too big for me, so I ended up altering it to fit my 25 inch ribcage better.
I guess this is just an epic Frankenbra now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
This bra was initially an okay fit, the band runs pretty tight, but after gaining some weight it's definitely too small. This is the only strapless I've found that's open enough on top for my shallow shape.
I get major gapping at the top with this. My more FoB breast doesn't want to stay in the bottom of the cup, and my less FoB breast is the smaller one and doesn't quite fill the cup. It's a bit ridiculous. The width is good though. The band is firm so far, and the straps are wide and comfortable. This will not work for me under thin tops, but I might keep it out of sheer disorganization and wear it under tops with detail that will camouflage the gapping. All in all, I would not recommend this for breasts that are FoB or that have ...an average-to-wide root. I *think* I have a slightly narrow root (or possibly average?) and the underwires are barely wide enough on the outside - but a bit too wide on the inside. It's odd.
ETA: Once I have two decently fitting bras, this one is out of here and onto the listings. I hope it fits someone else because it's just not right for me.
ETA2: I finally figured out what is up with this bra. I need more immediate projection and the straps are set slightly too wide (thus the gaping at the top). I can tell though that if I altered the straps, the cups would be too small for me. If I were set on a Deco (which I am not), I would need a 28F and would need to bring the straps in a bit. I received this bra in an exchange with another bratabase user, and it's great! The gore doesn't tack, but it has been altered a little so it may be due to that. However, the alterations took in the gore and added some boning to the front, and both are good alterations. The cups are nicely narrow and actually hit me at the right spot, giving me a very front and centered look that I like a lot. The width of the band is also slimming as any bits of flesh that normally bulge are completely eliminated. The band is very stretchy and comfortable - not constricting at all ...like I thought a longline might be. It is difficult to clip all the hooks behind my back, though. The cups are a little bit too open or something, they seem like they jut out a little bit at the top edge, but the whole thing also seems to slide down a little bit. It might be because I had to loosen the straps a lot to make sure they didn't pull the slide slings (I guess?) awkwardly creating a weird shape on the side of my breasts. Overall, a really nice bra that's extremely comfortable and looks great. Read more 98 more words
This is a great bra, comfortable and sexy. No gaping issues, the fabric is less firm than the Deco Spotlight but still just a supportive. I'm FoB and shallow so I'm thrilled this bra worked out!
Too small. *Sigh* I guess I just need to realize that it's time to try a 28F.
It quadboobed both because of size and shape. On my right breast, there's a definite orange-in-a-glass effect, probably due to the wires being too sharp of a U shape. The width of the wires is fine, it doesn't cut and and isn't too wide, but it doesn't follow the shape of my root very well.
The cups give me a conical shape. I'm full-on-top, and I think the top cuts in because I have tall roots. The whole cup feels tight, so the cups are too ...small as well as the wrong shape. Rather than push my wide-set breasts together, it just squashes them against my chest and into my armpits.
The fabric isn't very pretty either. It looks like a very luxurious satin in the photos, but it feels and looks almost plastic-like. It's a bit scratchy. It's more flexible and holds its shape less than the beige bra photos look.
But the band is very firm. Although the unstretched measurement is almost 24, it only stretches about 5 inches and it feels very stiff when worn. So even though there is only 1 hook, it is a very sturdy band.
I'm sure that if it was a larger cup, it would much more comfortable. But I'm not sure if I'd be ok with the super pointy look. Read more 131 more words
Nice basic bra, but completely wrong shape for my breasts. This bra pushed my wide set breasts together so much they were sitting on each other (never had that happen before). The back has a different design, which is probably fine for smaller breasted women, but I can't imagine it holding up much weight. Wish this had worked out though, it would be a good everyday bra.
I couldn't resist buying this bra because it's so cute! However, I've discovered most Freya bras just don't fit my breasts. I get wrinkling at the top, but it also cuts into my breasts. The band is quite stretchy, and the straps are fully adjustable.

I used to be so dismissive of Freya's offerings in the smaller sizes because their best-selling Deco and all its incarnations -- Charm, Honey, Shape... -- hardly ever work on us. Then I tried the Deco Strapless and I was very impressed. Now with the Deco Soft Cup, I am thrilled! This is my new go-to T-shirt bra.
This bra is wonderfully comfortable and very, very flattering. It produces the same famous Deco cleavage without the gaping and painful wires. Wires in general don't bother me, but I cannot stand the painful stiff center gores that come with Cleo bras. This bra basically has no gore, so it feels ...wonderful. It's completely smooth under clothing and it gives a fantastic shape. It's also true to size in both the band and cup.
If I had to nitpick, I'd say that the straps seem rather stretchy and I wonder if they'll stretch out too much with use. The band is not painful at all, but it does leave a very angry-looking bright red mark on my ribcage after a few hours. If it becomes painful or irritating, I'll update this review, but for now it's just a weird vanity thing! Read more 89 more words
A complete disaster-totally incompatible with my shape. I have fob breasts that are soft and my breast roots are short. If this happens to describe your breasts, too, Freya plunge styles are probably not your friends.
I love this longline bra. It fits very snugly in the band. The cups are lightly lined. As usual, because there is a half cup to a cup difference between my breasts, my right breast spills over just a bit while the left cup isn't quite full. (However, I've made my peace with this. It's better than fitting only for the right breast and having to fiddle with silicone inserts for the left breast.) The shape the bra gives is fantastic. It's a fun, flirty bra.
This is one of the few Freya bras that are meant for people with shallow breasts broad roots! Yay! I like it. This is the best strapless/convertible bra I have ever tried. I am sure there are even better ones out there but this one so far is a winner. Also, this bra runs slightly small in the cup. If your regular size is 28DD, you might want to try 28DD and 28E just in case.
I like this bra because it has great side support and it's shallow enough for me. I do have problems with orange in a glass though I think, so it may not be good for full on bottom breasts. Right now I have a good upper appearance so I'm not sure if sizing up a cup would do well. The band fits great so far though. I love that my boobs seem to stay in place more than usual. I am still on a hunt for a great fitting bra.
The appearance of this bra is very nice, but the shape it give underneath clothes, is natural, I would say. I find that it is round for me, but not very lifted or very in front as in Cleo bras. Also, I think it enhace the size difference between my breasts when I wear it under clothes, which is strange.
The underwires are a touch narrower than those in Cleo, which means they fit me perfectly. They are also sturdy and rigid, how I like.
The cups fit me very good on my larger breast, on my smaller one it wrinkles because of the unfilled space left there.
I have to ...tighten a lot the straps, I can't figure out why, in Cleo it isn't necessary to do this.
The band is quite stretchy, even though it's 28 size (I wear 30 in Cleo), but it remains supportive, stays in place when I move and it doesn't ride up. It just feels stretchy.
Maybe sheer bras aren't for me, as I have different nipple positions (one is lower than the other) and different breast. I would like the band to be lined, but it is meant to be sheer, so I guess it's part of design.
I think I like more Cleo unpadded bras, because of their lift, support, shape, soft fabrics and prints, even though their underwires are a little wider than I need ( have an 1/2 cm extra width). Also, it can be a bother the high cut of the bra, because I need to wear high cut necklines and I'm not used, but now and then I like to have the breasts fully enclosed, so it's helpful in the end.
Same review as the 30D, only in a size that actually fits me. I have to wear it on the smallest hook and I'd prefer it to be tighter, so I'll alter it after it stretches out.
"The stitching around the top edge of the cup makes this bra fit more like the Taylor than the regular deco as it is more closed on top so it doesn't gape as much. Otherwise the shape and fit are typical of deco variants. The fully-adjustable straps are long so that it can be worn as a racerback."
These are possibly the stiffest cups I've ever encountered, which is probably why at first glance it seemed to give me such a great shape. It's so firm that it sort of just mashes everything down beneath the cups and hides any hint of a bad fit. Unfortunately the stiffness also makes the bra a little unforgiving when it comes to gaping at the top when you let your posture slide. There's a thick trim along the top edge of the cups that prevents this from looking completely seamless beneath tighter clothing as well.
It's worth it to note that I ordered this a band size down ...from my usual, based on the fit I'd experienced with the Freya Patsy half cups. Totally didn't need to do that here- I could just barely get the bra to clasp on the loosest hooks, and it was uncomfortably tight. The straps were also quite a bit shorter compared to Patsy, and feel a bit wide for me in the 28E. I'm definitely going to try this out in a 30DD though. This is still a better fit than most I've tried. Read more 84 more words
