The Deco is not ideal for my even to FOB, centre full pendulous babies, but just couldn't resist getting it. Despite of it all it used to kinda fit before my boob growth. Now aiming at 28F, but probably keep this one, should there be any weight loss...
A lovely bra, very gentle colours. Most Freyas in this cut fit me well, so a good fit is no surprise. I need to be on my skinny days to achieve a great fit though.
This bra was so cute I had to have it. It had a sewing wierdness when I got it that required opening up the lace on the right cup, releasing the lining, getting it placed better and resewing it. Ok, all fixed. Except, after years of bending over a cutting table the center of my back is kinda wonky and the bottom of the longline hit me at just that spot. I thought, fine, I'll shorten it and it'll be better. SO I did. And it was - except the gore is still too high for me and really, what the heck is with the round underwires? Most of my other bras have flat ends and they dig into the sternum less even if they are tall. Now, it sits in a drawer and is worn almost never.
It was a surprise find at a thrift shop. Unfortunately not my usual size (28D) since I have been wanting to try on the Deco Strapless. Not much to say about this bra as it's at least a cup size too large, if not two. The band is firm and I love the fact that the wings are tall. Two placements for the straps on the front and back which is quite nice for people with narrow shoulders. Overall, it feels like a very sturdy bra.
Ahahahaha, no. Just no. I could take the sides in by an entire inch and a quarter, but the apex would still be enormously too high and the tops of the cups would still be flat empty. The band fits well. The bottoms of the cups are comfortable. Apparently it's just made for really tall breasts? IDK. I confirmed my bust measurements to see if I'd suddenly dropped 2 sizes, but no. It's the bra, not me.
In the pic, note the fridge clips taking in each side by 1 1/4". Also, the complete absence of "plunge". (It's going back.)
Not sure yet if I'm keeping this one. It's an almost perfect fit for the shape it is: + The outsides of the cups comfortably encompass the sides of my breasts. + My ribs are presently 26.5", and this band is very comfortable. + The straps adjust short enough for my frame (always a happy surprise). + The tops of the cups reach my armpits and not my chin, yay.
Really my only hesitation is the shape. On my body, the apex of the 3-panel cup is at the inner/middle panel seam (1/3 from the gore) instead of at the nipple. The nipple is centered in the middle ...panel of the cup, where it's getting smushed flat while not-nip tissue is projecting outward at the seam. That leads to some inner fullness quadding over the gore and reminds me that these are really really not plunge wires. Granted, it's not much quadding (it doesn't even really show from these angles; I should have done a top-down shot), but I also haven't worn it for a full day, so who knows how long it would take to start chafing. Maybe never.
In sum, surprisingly comfortable. Also maybe not bad for a 70% off impulse buy while waiting for other bras to arrive... Read more 102 more words
I have this exact bra and love it. It's very comfortable. From the pictures, it appears to be a good fit.
I love how freya half cups fit you, that makes me want to give them a new try. It seems we have very similar breast shape. Can you tell how tall you are?
Thanks, it's nice to find a style that isn't massively too tall for me. I'm just barely 5'0" (1.52m), with a short torso and broad shoulders.
This bra is so close! I the cup depth/wire width is perfect. The band is a bit stretchy (as normal for freya). I love the adorable polka dotted bow in the center. It's my favorite thing about the bra. It's so so so cute! Unfortunately, this bra doesn't fit because the gore is too wide for me. It sits on breast tissue and is generally just terribly painful. I'm considering altering it, but I should probably just rehome this one.
This bra fits expectedly. I really appreciate Freya to be consistent with sizing and fit. Their signature 3piece cup style is designed for my shape: avg to narrow wires, deep cups - it does what it needs to do, lifts and supports, does not add volume and great for summer.
Looks like a great fit - narrow wires & deep cups. I would prefer a longer wire - might try a 28F. Sheer black mesh - just great for summer evenings! Can recommend for average to narrow, even to projected FOB shapes.
I don't know what freya has done with fit and sizing, but while the 28E - Freya ยป Beau Plunge (1101) is small in the cups, this one fits perfecly. They seem to be the same or very similar cut. I just love this blue/black colour scheme. Bra offers good support, maybe a little pointy shape, but that doesn't worry me.
Trying on the Freya Daydreamer padded halfcup was the most excruciatingly painful bra experience Iโve ever had. The wires stabbed me at both ends so badly that after wearing it for 30 seconds, I was still in pain 10 minutes after I took it off. In retrospect I believe this was because the bra was far too shallow for me and my breasts were pushing it away from my body, causing the cups to tilt and the wires to dig in. Funnily enough, it didnโt *look* that terrible โ there was a little quadboob, but not a huge amount, and I would say the wires were average rather than extremely wide. But with so much pain it was obviously not the right fit for me. Too bad, since itโs so pretty.
This bra is closer to a good fit, but the center gore is just too wide and too tall. In addition, I need narrower wires and more immediate projection in the cup. The band on this bra was very stretchy and stretched beyond 28inches. This bra might be best for someone who is wider and shallower. Or who has even fullness and breasts that are further apart than mine. The straps on this are also too wide for my frame. Overall this bra was just made for someone larger framed than I am. Very nice materials and quality construction though.
The deco half cup is a great solution if you have gaping in the deco plunge . This bra is wide and more shallow than the deco plunge .
Pros: no gaping at top of cup more open at top for full on top or tall roots nice cleavage very comfortable even in too small size Cons: sizing not available past "f" cups sizing may run small in the cup
I'm not sure if it fits. It should be ok but there is empty fabric on the sides and I have wrinkles on the top of the cup. I think cup less will be to small so I wore this bra for now...
Tried this on while on vacation, lovely bra. Is try it in a 28F if I could find one for a reasonable amount, but this was wayy to small for me and possibly too closed on top.
I'm generally a 30E but the band on this was so loose I went for a 28E instead. I would say, if you're forced to go down a band size, definitely bop up the cup size, too - I wish I had a 28F. The longline fabric definitely flips up in the front and I'm a little worried about this bra's long-term sturdiness. That said, it's gorgeous, the lace is lovely, and you get spectacular cleavage in it. Despite flipping up incidents throughout the day, the support of the 6 hooks is nice and it's quite comfortable.
Update: After some wearing in, the 28E has turned out to be a fine fit (on smaller days). Going up a cup probably won't be necessary unless you're between sizes.
