30 is slightly big on the loosest setting. E is either too small or the shape is wrong for me, as I quad out the middle. Comfortable though. The top of the cups show a bit when actually wearing a plunge shirt.
When I bought this bra my boobs were different and I quite liked the feel of unmoulded bras. My boobs looked great in them, and I used this bra when I was wearing outfits that could use a less pronounced.. chest. The rough-ish black material made me feel strong, and the purple decorations feminine.
Now the bra is too big and my boobs look pointy in this cut. I think a smaller size would fit me better, but I haven't tried yet.
My review of the Topaz Deco Honey applies to this bra too, with the following notable comparison details: Both bras in the recent versions (early 2014 Cobalt Deco and Topaz Deco Honey) fit exactly the same in the cup for me - same height, same wire length, same depth, same smooth material each with a raised edge(slightly visible under clothing). Where they differ I find is in the band and the straps. The band on the Cobalt Deco is slightly silky, almost like thick ribbon. The band on the Topaz Honey is lacey, but as a result it's scratchier, tighter and less stretchy. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend the regular Deco over the Honey. after a couple of months of equal wearing of the two, I can report I moved on to the second hook of the Deco and needed to tighten the straps (again, silkier material so a bit more slippy I think), whereas I'm still very happy on loosest hook on Honey.
This bra is too big (I've lost weight). However, to a friend of mine with similar breasts before I lost weight, I'd say that the bra makes your boobs look huge. It gives them a very rounded shape, which is nice, and the padding is a good amount. The "hugeness" comes from the shape, not the padding.
I wouldn't recommend Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) to someone my *height*, however. The underwires go too far for someone extremely petite, and because it makes your boobs look huge, you end up with a ton of cleavage that, when you are short, means other people are ...practically looking down your shirt. I felt like my boobs were bouncing a lot in the bra, as well. But for someone my size but of average height, I'd recommend it.
I also wouldn't recommend the bra if you have an extended ribcage. I indicated that the center gore cuts in to my ribs, but that's a problem I've had with nearly all bras due to competitive swimming for so long. The pain increases as you own the bra and the band stretches ("folding" the gore in). Read more 88 more words
Got it in "demin" color. Its comfortable. The cups are more lined than padded, and the outer fabric is silky feeling and soft. The straps adjust nicely. All in all, I'm a fan.
This bra definitely fits much better than the other Deco family bras. The Hatty in 30E is a gapey disaster on me, as is the 28F Honey. I'd read the top was more closed which is why I wanted to try it, and it seems to be true! There is still some gapping after I've been wearing it around for a bit, but it is much less than the other bras and isn't noticeable under clothing. The bra seemed at first like it wanted to make a run for my waist, as it doesn't have a ton of immediate projection, but turns out to stay put okay.
For me, this fits very similarly to the Tartan longline (which is supposedly the same cut). I find the Piper seems to give me a little more oomph upwards, but that could just be small sewing differences between the two bras. I also for some reason find that the band in the front doesn't want to roll/curl up as much as on my Tartan.
So, lately I've been reading up on bra alterations (I have plans in mind for a few of my ill-fitting bras) and I got a bit caught up in reading the blog http://brasihate.blogspot.co.uk/ and I happened to notice that most of the bras I own that fit me really well, like the Marcie, Lucy and Andorra, also fit her. The Marvel was one that fitted her that I hadn't tried, so I had to give it a go, and it fits!
Marvel is very much like the Freya padded half-cups in that it's shallow at the bottom of the cups and ...very open at the top, which seems to work quite well for my shape. As far as I can tell, it's not really a new cut for Freya, but as it fits me, I can't be disappointed! The band is a relatively large 30, as I would expect from Freya, but not as loose as the Deco. The Marvel gives a very minimised look (as many reviews have described) but I think for me it's due to the amount of lift it gives rather than because it's squashing my boobs to the sides. I'm actually quite tempted to go out and try a few blouses to see if the Marvel would prevent them from gaping across the front! Read more 118 more words
I love the design--so cute! I belive this is the right shape for my shallow, even to full-on-top breasts, but I should actually be F or FF cup. When I don't scoop and swoop, it fits ok, but when I wear it properly, spillage and quadboobing galore.
Nice t-shirt bra in a lovely greeny-turquoise colour. Usually invisible under dark tops though occasionally the cups stick out. Seems slightly smaller than the non-honey decos. Other differences include two buttons instead of a bow on the gore and patterned wings.
This is a great nude bra for wearing under t-shirts though it seems to have a mind of its own. Some days it'll fit perfectly and others I'll need to tighten the straps/band and doesn't seem to be my size at all. Sometimes the molded cups stick up away from the breasts so the bra becomes visible under tops.
This bra definitely gives great cleavage and really makes your boobs look huge. Sometimes after trying on a top which runs too tight when wearing the deco, you can switch to a soft cup and the top no longer stretches.
I would say the cups run large - I've tried on other E cups and been bursting out of them but I only just fill these ones.
I also have this bra in black and that is slightly smaller and fits better.
I have narrow, tall roots, with mostly even, maybe slightly tubular breasts. I found the Freya Patsy to be the most comfortable of all my non-Ewa bras. The bra is "padded" just enough so that your nipples don't show through, but not enough to make you hot, or even warm. I'd say lightly lined, not padded. Solid construction, totally cute - lace, polka dots, and a bow?!? Alas, my breasts are really close together, so the high half-cup gore pushes down on some breast tissue, and it gets uncomfortable. The wires are also too wide for me.

As a brand, I like Freya the most for brands I can get in the US. The wires, however, are far too wide for me.
Pro: Its a lovely nude bra, craftsmanship looks great, the material is nice and smooth. Straps are sturdy, fully adjustable and look nice. A good bra. When I was properly swooped and scooped and fluffed, the cleavage was pretty awesome (for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> ).
Con: I had heard that the bands run loose on the Decos, but I ordered my usual size - have to start somewhere, right? I ...found the band to be very, very tight for a 30, even compared to my other Freya, the padded Patsy. I only wore it around once without an extender, and not for long! The moulded cups really didn't work for my shape, and fit so strangely on me, I'm not sure a cup size down would have helped. After a swoop and scoop, they looked good for a little bit, but would settle down (damn you narrow roots!) and gap and look all sorts of strange on me. I am sad, I wanted it to work so badly. I found myself unable to resist the lure of trying the latest pretty colour in the Deco lineup: aqua, they call it, and it is just the colour of a Pacific atoll aerial shot in a travel agent's brochure! It doesn't fit me at all well - quad-boob when I breathe in, and gapping when I breathe out - but then I didn't expect it to. It's very comfy, though, and the issues with the size aren't very noticeable under a T-shirt. The band is also more true-to-size than on the regular Deco so I don't feel any need to get the 28F in this one.
This bra makes me feel like my breasts are resting on clouds. The wires are a tad (.25 inches) too wide, but that doesn't cause any discomfort. The band runs big and if this were't a longline, I think it would be too long for me. But since the band is so wide, I am comfortably supported.
During my pre-period week when my breasts are a bit bigger, this bra fits perfectly. The wires are perfect, I fill the cups without any quadboob or wrinkling, and nothing digs in or hurts. The shape is more pointy than rounded, but I prefer it that way. The straps are very wide, but since they have the same lovely pattern as the cups, I don't mind https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra fits me almost perfectly, with only the very occasional and very slight quad-boob on my larger side as the top edge is just a fraction too tight. It doesn't dig in at all, and it gives a good shape under clothes. I should absolutely love it, but instead I utterly detest it because I can't stand the pattern!
