I love the look of the deco, but I think the band and cup on this bra are too big for me. Tried a 28F, band was a lot better but the cup was still too big! Gonna try a 28E deco.
The band on this bra doesn't feel as stretchy as on most of my other Freya bras, but it's not tight enough to need an extender. Apart from that it fits pretty well, and if the wire was just a little bit longer on the side, I would have no criticism to make of it at all.
The underwires on this bra are slightly longer than on the Freya balconette-plunges, which is ideal for me as I often find that the wires are not quite high enough on the sides. I could actually have them two inches higher again and still not be stabbed in the armpit! The cup fits perfectly on my larger side, but even with the strap tightened, there is still a small amount of gapping near the centre gore on my smaller side. Luckily it doesn't show, even under a tight T-shirt.
A very pretty bra and a pretty good fit for me too. I can easily forget I'm wearing it. The band was not too tight initially, and it does not seem to have stretched out much yet either. I would like it even better if the wires were slightly longer - maybe an extra 1/2 inch - on the sides.
This bra was slightly small in the cup when I first purchased it, it is too small in both the band and the cup now. I find the construction of the cups very similar to Freya's regular padded half cups, which for me is a bit too shallow, especially at base of the cups. But the shape is very lovely, a nice compromise between round and natural with some "cake" cleavage.
I had some trouble with the longline band scrunching up (not rolling, but bunching) in the front due to my high tummy after pregnancy. I think I would have preferred if Freya had used some sort of stays, even softer plastic ones, or silicone edging to keep to band in place. I did not have any problems with the band stretching out, and never moved to the second set of hooks, but I honestly did not wear it all too often.
I was practically swimming in the cups of the 30E despite a pretty decent wire width for my proportions, and a very snug band. It wanted to sit really low on my ribcage as well, which leads me to suspect that this bra is not shape-compatible with my breasts.Having tried it on in a 28E that gaped at the top as well, I'm reasonably certain that sizing down in the cups won't work here.
The band on this seems much longer than my 30E regular nude colored deco. The cups also seem to come up a tad bit higher and are more rounded, whereas the regular deco seems to be more flat. The tops of the cups don't quite lay flat on my chest, there's a gap between my chest and the bra. Moving to the tightest hook and tightening the straps seems to help a bit.
While this bra ended up being too big for me overall, I was really impressed by the length of the straps. I think this is the first bra I've found that I haven't had to loosen them as far as they'll go. The band was really loose on me combined with this cup size. Sizing down helped, although I had too many other shape-related issues with every size I tried in the Patsy. Being full on bottom rather than top as well as requiring narrower wires, I couldn't make it work for me.
This seems to lift and support me well, but towards the end of the day my boobs seem to fall towards the center and almost out of the cups. However, the tops of the cups don't lay flat against my chest unless I really puff it out. The ridges from the tops of the cup are very obvious under tighter shirts. This effect seems to be lessened somewhat by moving to the tightest hook.
I love the look of this bra but it sadly does not fit in this size. Band is too loose and cups way too small, look for my review of the 28FF I have for a better indicator of how this fit.
When I fully scoop, it get a little bit of spillage. However, it all settles back quickly. The band is a bit looser than my other Freya bras, but it still stays in place because of its width. The lace trim on the band can fold under when I sit, but it is not uncomfortable.
I'm pleased with this bra - it gives nice support and the band is a good tightness, but not strangling me when new like some of my 30s from Cleo and Panache.I have a very slight gap after wearing it for a while at the far outside edge of the top, but this happens to me in basically every bra since, for whatever reason, I have no real breast tissue there. The gore is also short enough to behave itself okay with my close breasts. I also would like to mention that the straps do need to be tightened so the clasp is just an inch below the tops of my shoulders - don't know why they are so long on this bra! They do adjust all the way through the front though, so they could go even shorter if someone needed. The wires are wider than I need but not uncomfortable so this is a keeper!
Again, wrong size for me. 30Es do NOT fit my larger breast. I would try this bra again in 30FF or 28FF/G.
The underwire is slightly wider for my narrow root. The gore appears distorted, but this just may be from an inappropriate cup size. I feel the gore lines up with my close set breast separation.
I believe I am full on bottom, and I am not sure if this style of bra is good for that. I did not like how my left breast was popping out - clearly, the cups were too small. I am curious to see how my breast would look in a larger more appropriate cup size.
Size too small. Not as big a fan of this bra as the Freya Longlines. Some diagonal wrinkling on right breast, with strap adjusted to compensate for uneven-ness. Also still some gapping with right breast, even with adjustment. Cups too small for left breast (I'm more of a 30F/FF or 28FF/G than 30E, it turns out).
Band fit comfortably. Wires left marks from simply trying on the bra in the dressing room. Underwire slightly wider than my root, but follows my breast tissue root line well until about halfway up. Gore slightly distorted from too-small left cup.
I love longline bras because the band is so wide! The bra stays firmly in place throughout the day and there is no need for readjustment. Although the front can roll up at the bottom during wear, it does not affect the comfort or appearance (underneath clothes) and can usually be ignored. The fit is identical to my Freya Just Flew In longline. It is a pink-y/peach color that would blend in nicely on a caucasian skin tone but may not be compatible for others. I especially like the quality of the black lace trim on this bra and the grosgrain textured straps!
This is my go-to bra for comfort, and it got me addicted to longlines! I love how the band stays firmly in place and I don't have to re-adjust during the day. The elastic straps in particular are super comfortable because they stretch with you during wear yet also retain their elasticity with excellent spring back. The textured top even keeps the strap gripped firmly in the adjusters. This is a weird thing to comment on, but whatever. Also, it is a beautiful bra, obviously. The band has stretched after a few months of wear and will need to be altered down 1-2 inches soon, but it is very easy due to the completely straight band, and worth it for my favorite bra.
The JFI longline fit in terms of the Bratabase fit criteria. The band runs tight/true to size and the cups run about 1 cup size small. However, I found that the cups slid down over time, and the wires are too wide for my breast root. It's only a minor issue, but an indication that the bra is probably too shallow for me.
Fit well but I returned it as I decided I didn't need it. Also the other longline that I have from Freya (30E - Freya » Patsy Padded Longline Bra (1222) and some of the other Freya bras I've had for a bit aren't starting to fit as well. I didn't want to take the risk.
I like the look of the bra, and it is decently comfortable for how it fits (although the straps are sometimes a little itchy). The straps adjust short enough for me, but I need to adjust them almost all the way to the front to feel like I'm getting enough support since the band is so loose. The cup looks like it fits for the most part, but I might get some quadboob (mostly towards the center) when I pull the band tighter. Some of my fit issues also may be because this bra is shallow and wide while I need more projection and definitely narrow wires. The gore it also quite wide (for me at least) and sits on my breasts after scooping and swooping (although it's mostly on my larger side).
I got this at my local Nordstrom when I first started getting bras that were actually near my size. The band is already stretchy combined with the fact that it is probably 2 band sizes too big, so it rides up a good deal. I don't get a whole lot of support from it either. When I scoop and swoop, I seem to get a bit of quadding on my larger size, although it goes away after a little while (I assume this is mostly due to the too large band). The cups are a little wide, and I need to pull the straps closer to the edge of my shoulders (making the gap at my armpits worse) when my scooping and swooping disappears to make the gapping (mostly on my smaller side) go away. I usually think I have broad(ish) shoulders for my frame but not one a frame with a 30" ribcage. Although there is a bit of spillover, I like the cleavage I get directly after S&S.
