the cups in this bra run entirely too small and its very uncomfortable to put on..... i hated banging the underwire on my face and it scraping my body as it went over my head. instant return.
I love this bra! The gold color is divine. I feel pretty in it. Somehow this bra provides me with centering and forward projection while also eliminating cleavage (I prefer not to have cleavage. I purchased this bra because I was tired of only buying bras that we more "balconette" style. I don't like how balconettes look, I don't like how the straps connect to the cups with the little bow. They're tolerable and just fine in a good fit, but I don't love it. This bra looked unique, and it delivered! The straps are slightly more centered because of the high apex style, and I don't ...get any of that pinchy feeling by the armpits that can sometimes happen with balconettes where the straps connect. The wires are so comfy compared to my past Cleo and panache bras! The lace overlay around the band is cute, and would make it look kind of like a longline if it would lay flat. but if you have any extra skin/tissue/body fat on your ribcage, it isn't going to stay flat. Sorry. It's not uncomfortable and doesn't bother me.
This may not count as a technically perfect fit though. Here are my "fit issues": - the cup is somewhat closed on top with a bit of elastic. Occasionally this will cut into my tissue (not painfully) depending on how I am sitting/standing/moving. IT is not noticeable under clothing, and was less noticeable at the end of the day so I think as the elastic wears, it will diminish. However, I don't think this style would be appropriate for FOT breasts for this reason. Even-fullness and close-set breasts will likely also have an issue with it. I think it will work best for short roots(me) or FOB, even though the high apex might deter you. -the gore is slightly too wide for me. Because the wires are soft, it doesn't hurt or bother me. I may alter it later. - I have to wear it on the second hook. Can't buy a smaller band because it only goes up to a G cup in this style. sad face
Regardless of this, I love this bra so much I immediately purchased it in two more colors. I also got the matching boyshorts and they are so soft and comfy. Very cute set, highly recommend. Read more 278 more words
This bra is cute, it gives a pointy shape and has super tall cups. It literally hugs my tall roots perfectly. However the cups are way too wide and the band is too big.
The band in the Deco vibe (1704) seems to run very snug. If I go up a size the width of the cups are too wide I’ve noticed this in the 30G and 32G but I love the smooth line under clothes, and also very supportive. I tend to very slightly after wearing for a few hours to have a little boob trying to escape in the center but doesn’t create quad boob effect. I’m trying to find the right size/style since my weight loss. But for now this works!
This bra gives a nice lift and shape but is a little scratchy. I believe I’m center full, projected, narrow roots. It shows this bra does not fit but it is my best fitting bra at the moment since I’ve lost weight and changed sizes.
This bra is innocuously sexy, elegantly fun. When you put it on, you'll feel like a young vixen. I love the contrast of the cornflower blue lace and the leopard print, and the small details like the keyhole gore and cut-out band are a unique offering in the full-bust market. The quality is similar to other Freya plunges I've tried, and the lace reminded me of the Panache Andorra's lace. I would say the band is a true 30; it didn't feel like it would break my (flared) ribs like the Cleo 30 bands, nor did it feel overly stretchy like a classic 30 Deco. My two main ...problems with fit were that the wires were still not narrow enough for me (although it fits more closely than any of my other bras), and that the elastic on the top cuts into my larger side, causing noticeable quad-boob. Under clothes, this bra gives a naturally sloped, slightly separated appearance (certainly more separation than I get with my Cleos); on me, there was no significant pointy-ness or east-west separation. I have narrow, short roots; projected, pendulous tissue; and even fullness with about 1.5 finger's width between my breasts. I think this bra would suit someone similarly shaped who is just more FoB or prefers their boobs to look more separated than I do mine. Overall, a very lovely bra - I wish Freya made more colorways like this one! Read more 130 more words
This is a good fit, but I find that the band cuts in a bit tight. It isn't too tight in the sense that it is difficult to clasp, but over time it feels like it digs in, especially where my rib flares are.
I was fairly certain the Deco wouldn't work for me, but it'd been so long since I'd tried it I couldn't help but give it another shot.
I sister sized down to a 30G as I've read the band can run stretchy, but I actually found it to run about true to size. I could close it, but it was definitely tight. As for the cups, I got overspill on my larger side; I would get a cup size up if I wanted to stick with this bra (I don't).
The other big issue I had, and the one I suspected the most, is the cups aren't projected enough at the bottom, thus pushing the wires down too low. For this reason I will be returning the bra and not trying it again.
The only difference between them is that the Ink (blue) colorway is a softer material and stretches easier. The black is stiffer and the cups have less give at the top.
Wide and shallow shape. I was hoping this would be perfect for me but I think it's actually a bit TOO shallow, the pulling is visible at the bottom of the cup. It feels very secure on though the far apart straps really push into my armpits. Other than that it's a great basic bra for the wide-root crowd.
My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle
This review is for the Peacock colorway.
I love polka dots, and this bra is cute! I wanted the longline bra, too, but I do not really like salmon-pink. Anyway, this bra is really comfy and fits me decently well in this size, although the cups gape some. The foam padding is nice, and the shape is good in spite of the non-molded cups (I appreciate the convenience of cups you can smoosh when you are washing or packing your bras).
I have always had minor issues with balconette styles, such as the tops of ...the cups gapping when I slouch or let my shoulders drop forward, and this bra is no exception. However, it's pretty slight and any shirt I wear keeps it in place and it has never been noticeable.
My only real issues with this bra is how wide the straps are set (I thought I had pretty wide shoulders, but maybe I was wrong, because while the straps do stay on pretty well, I do feel sometimes like they are sitting at the slipping-off-point) and the center gore, which starts to press on my breast tissue after a little while. The cups on this bra feel a bit shorter than my other Freya Decos, but not by much. It's comparable to the cups on the Deco Crystal. The straps on this bra are thinner than other Decos. It's got a satin-like texture which may result in some slippage in the adjuster, though I've yet to experience it myself. Otherwise, they feel as good as any other Deco strap.
Dear, dear Hello Dolly. This was one of the first bras I purchased after finding out my true size, and we have shared many happy days together. It's so soft and comfortable I barely know I'm wearing it, and it is cute to boot (I *love* the matryoshka doll print and the teal/red/blush colour scheme!)
It fit well, for a while, when I was between a 30FF and a G cup. I noticed quite quickly that the band was too loose to stay in place on my tapered rib cage, so I shortened it. It was after that I discovered that the embroidered trim and connecting seam both cut into my breasts; this quadboob is barely noticeable unless I wear very, very clingy tops (lucky, I never do). I would like a little more depth at the bottom, though, as my boobs usually settle ~1 cm above the wires. Like I wrote it's incredibly comfy, so I still get a lot of wear out of it, even if it's not a perfect fit.
Love the idea of a longline! However, the cup is either too small for me or too shallow. As a result, the bra slides down throughout the day. The hooks at the back take *forever* to get done, but once they are done up it looks amazing. Definitely "cakes on a plate" look. I do get some cutting in on my larger breast so I'd like to try the style in a larger cupsize.
I love this bra! Top marks in every category. I normally wear a 30G in Panache, and Parfait, I wear a 65G in Ewa Michalak. I typically find that 30 bands in Freya are too loose for me, but this band feels tighter than both my Cary's longline and my Deco Hatty. I have a 28-29 inch underbust for reference. I also felt that this deco is deeper and more projected than the Deco Hatty, specially in the middle, well suited to even boobs I think. This bra is a little lower in the armpits than the deco hatty, but taller than my S Bambino from Ewa. The straps are also the typical of freya placement, a little wide if you are on the petite side.
Pros: -comfy -super pretty -has a hook to wear under racer backs -narrow wires -decently projected -low gore -supportive without feeling like your all strapped down -smooth under a thin shirt
Cons: -straps are bit wide -strap fabric could be bothersome if you are picky about fabrics
This bra is too high at the top of the cup and ends up rubbing under my arms but I stopped noticing it after a while. What I did notice is that the band that seemed to originally fit did feel tight and uncomfortable while sitting. It was ok for me though because I think it will stretch for a perfect fit. The bottom of the cups seem a bit weird to me just because of the lack of underwire. In one position I will completely fill it and in another my breast tissue will shift and I wont. Still it is a really comfortable bra and has the bonus of giving me the best cleavage in any fitting bra I have tried so far. Strange seeing how there are no wires... If they dressed this one up a bit I wouldn't buy anymore styles!
I love this bra already. It is my first bra that fits, and the first bra I've found that actually complements my weird shape. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and cute to boot!
The colors of the fabric on this were not quite as I expected, but still very pretty. The cups are not really padded, just lined. They are thinner than my Deco bras. They are also thinner than my Edina longline. The only real complaint that I have about this bra is that the outside edge if the wires pinch a little. I may try and adjust this a little, but it's not enough to make me not want to wear the bra. It's a beautiful bra and I think it'll get a lot of use.
This bra is really cute. The vertical seams give lots of shape and support. The straps are long and it can be worn with a racerback clip.
As with most Freyas, I recommend going down to your sister size in Panache/Cleo. I wear a 32FF in Panache/Cleo, and I wear a 30G in Freya padded half cups.
