The band feels better than the 38H Chi-Chi, but it still feels tight. Cups fit better, though I still don't get a good tack, and on this one my breasts are forcing the gore to overlap itself.
It's also a bra based on Jasmine, so I'm seeing some of the same issues that I do with that bra. Not enough depth at the bottom of the cup, and I'm also getting some bizarre in-cup quadding that I haven't had before.
This was part of an Amazon Wardrobe order. I knew this was a long shot, but there's not much available in my size.
It's just too small. Band runs a bit tight and I could barely fasten it. Cups are too small and I had quadding, and the gore didn't tack. Wires felt like they were a good width and height, though.
Smooth, soft, unlined, basic bra in a weird warm tan color that is called “Nude” but does not look like any actual human flesh I have ever encountered. Where this bra shines is under clothing. Even being a tiny bit too small on one side, it gave me the perfect rounded shape under my test t-shirt. It’s truly seamless, and the cups are a double-layered stretch fabric that gives solid modesty coverage without any added bulk. The straps are super comfy because they’re lined with a soft felt/fleece material. Even the weird color really works to make it invisible under clothing.
Pros: Gives excellent shape and support without bulk, virtually invisible under almost all clothing, offers just enough modesty, soft felt lining is very comfortable and absorbs boob sweat well
Cons: Discontinued model, hard to find, can be expensive, seems to run slightly small in the band
Once more, I was very much hoping that this would fit since I have often seen it recommended for people with projected, full on bottom breasts.Unfortunately, it was not to be. The band is comfortable, even slightly looser than I would prefer (I like very tight bands). The fabric is great, very soft and comfortable, nothing itchy here. The gore tacks and the bottom of the cups is filled nicely but there is about 1" of extra fabric on each side at the top of the cups, in the lace part (meaning that I can fold 1" of lace over itself at the top of the cups on both sides, we're not talking minor wrinkling here). I guess this model just doesn't like very short roots. Anyhow, I will be returning this bra.
I was really hoping that this would fit, but it doesn't. The fabric is super soft and comfortable, which I like. However, the gore is not tacking by about 3/4", the underwires poke me under the arms, and the top of my (smaller side) right cup wrinkles quite a bit. I might try this in a deeper cup, but I'm concerned that this would make the wrinkling issue worse.
This bra has the most comfortable fabric I have ever experienced in a bra, but unfortunately it doesn't fit quite right. The band is too large as I need to wear it on the tightest hook after only 2 weeks of ownership. The gore tacks properly and the cups don't wrinkle or gape but I constantly get the feeling that I'm about to fall out of the cups (pretty much every time I move). I believe this is due to the fact that part of the cup is fabric and part of the cup is lace; I can hardly feel the lace part at all so I keep thinking my breasts are no longer in the bra, which gets annoying quickly. Other than that, the straps are quite far apart, but not so much that they fall off my shoulders.
This bra band is stretchy enough for me to fit snugly, but it's not wide enough for me to be comfortable. The cups are too small for me. Because the upper panels are stretch lace, I don't really get quad boops, but it's not fitting nicely either. My nipples are in the lacy bit, and that can't be right with this model.
I am not sure if a cup size up (to 40 HH) would help, as it would make the cup wider and the cup width is fine as is.
Wow, the girls are seriously up and in with this bra. Almost too much to be honest, the shape isn't rounded, just long and narrow. But, it is one of the more comfortable bras I own, so it goes with tops that aren't too tight so as to not feel too self conscious.
This bra is too shallow for me. It's comfortable and the wires are a good width, but I need more depth at the gore to accommodate my centre fullness. There is a lot of breast tissue spilling over the top of the cups in the middle, and major quadboob.
This is a pretty and richly jewel-toned bra that I was determined to find 3! years after this bra came out and eventually tracked one down at http://www.nodandawink.com/.
Right off the top, it fits to my smaller side rather than my larger side because the top of the cup is MORE CLOSED OFF AT THE TOP than the Sculptresse Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) or Sculptresse Misty Full Cup Bra (9185) . The uplift and roundedness are nearly the same through the center+forward shaping is less dramatic. Also the wings come up higher. The upper embroidered section has a little give but is mostly non-stretch - it took a few rounds of repeatedly wetting and stretching the material to fit my larger side without quadding. The powermesh feel of the bra is on par with Panache Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) and it might benefit from a dip in fabric softener.
@Sculptresse Chi-chi and the identical @Sculptresse Misty make up the best-fitting bras I own. Gore tacks like a dream, the lift is high, the projection is forward. The cup is pretty deep and the stretch lace accommodates breast size asymmetries. Doesn't show through anything except the thinnest silk. Band runs pretty stetchy. If you plan to put this bra through heavy-duty daily wear as I do, go with the smaller band size. Until the band stretched, I could wear this bra all day with no pulling or pinching.
This is my most comfortable bra. I have three of them - one in this size and two a band size smaller/cup size larger. This works when I am on the upper end of my weight range and the others work on the lower end of my usual weight range. I have had them both for over a year and they are all in great shape.
The cup like is good for people with fuller on top breasts - it works for me (I am pretty even), but there is a bit extra room there. The shape is relatively projected, but not like Chi-Chi! The sides under my arms are firm and the wires rest against my skin and do not poke. The material is soft and comfortable.
I currently wear Elomis, for comparison, in the 42 GG range, depending on the cut sometimes a G. I cannot even hook the 42 in this bra. I sister sized to a 44G in this and it was too big in the cup, so went to an FF. Perfect.
I like the way this bra looks - it's a perfect pale pink that works as a nude for me, and I like the lace. But holy cow is it full coverage! I get a bit of strap gap because I have short roots, and there is definitely not enough immediate projection. Doesn't work for me, but would for someone with tall roots who doesn't need as much projection at the wire.
Functionally close to my all-time-favorite bra, 40E - Sculptresse » Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) So much so this model is now discontinued and therefore discounted by various online retailers! =) Construction derived from the best-selling panache Jasmine. Gore tacks completely flat, the cup construction lifts you high, thought not as high as with @Sculptresse Chi-chi due to softer, less laminated fabric used in constructing the 3 bottom sections of the cup. The projection is front and forward. The seams can show under thin fabric but the lace does not. Best yet, I can wear this bra for 12 hours straight with no issues and have even slept in this bra.
