People who bought a Dessous in the Encore sale: did yours randomly show white residue after washing? Do they put stuff on the material to keep it "fresh" for storage or something like that? I've hand washed mine twice now, and there's still a bit of residue which shows up more dramatically near the seams. I thought maybe it was my soap, but this has never happened to any other bra that I've owned. :/

The ones I had did the same thing (purchased from HerRoom, when they were first released)! The bright purple one was the worst. On mine, there was a white, almost tacky, film residue left all over the cups. I assumed it was some sort of material or spray of some kind they put on the bra to make it more stiff in the cup for better support. I couldn't figure out how to make it go away.

My Claudette Encore order came today, and I used Bratabase measurements to determine I needed different sizes in different styles. Apparently not so. I got a Dessous in a 30FF, which is a perfect fit, and two Paramours in 32F, which are too big everywhere. No returns or exchanges.
So now I am conflicted: Do ... I sell these NWT beauties incl. the underwear, or do I go back and try a 30FF or a 30F in them? The red fit a little bit bigger than the black did, but I don't think it was a cup size different. If I get these again, should I order 30F or 30FF?
Help, Libra-rian?

I recently added the measurements (+ pictures) of my mauve Dessous and magenta Paramour both in 30F if that helps! They seem to fit basically the same as far as measurements go; I can't spot any real differences in fit.
I would say the Dessous is pretty much a perfect fit. The fit issues with the Paramour in the larger band is the cups wrinkle on the upper portion by the straps, but cut in in the center, and of course the band is too stretchy. Advice? Down a cup and band or just the band?

I cant believe Cleo Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) has been discontinued! They had loads at the shop I went to today but not my exact size.. They reassured me they would be getting more in. ...clearly they wont be, I'm annoyed now ;((

I think Koko is based on the Neve cut and is replacing it. I haven't tried either though so I can't say how they compare. Perhaps someone else can weigh in.

I finally tried on a Cleo Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) by Panache and I LOVE it!
I have never felt so sexy in a bra before - totally cakes on a plate, front and centre and my back has never felt so supported and secure by the under band - It was so stretchy and seemed to ... contour to my body like a glove.. I tried the 32G and 34ff, little flattened by the 32 and overspill in the 34ff so I will get the 34G, definitely, they feel so good.
I also tried on Wonderbra Wonderbra D-g Everyday T-shirt (9148) in 36F and it felt great and looked a bit like my Freya Deco moulded plunge but with a lot more forward projection - it was just so nice to be able to do up my coat over it - I cant in my Freya bra.. so I def recommend these two if you like the Deco Plunge but want something a bit thinner in the cup.

Recently moved to a village near a pretty lake and Summer is coming up here so I thought I really could use a good swimsuit or tankini. I really like to go to the lake in the summer. I had a few bikinis over the years but never wore them anywhere outside my house and they all do not fit ... anymore. Anyway since I gained some weight I don't dare to go out in a bikini. (I never really dared at any weight though) I think I would be much too uncomfortable.
So I'm looking for tankinis or a swimsuit to cover my belly. Panache does bathing suits up to K-cup like the Panache Swimwear Veronica Swimsuit (SW0640). The Curvy Kate Luau Love Tankini (CS1906) is also on my wish - list.
Are the CK tankinis any good? Not many reviews on here. Which would you recommend?

I have the Veronica swimsuit in a 36K. I'll try and add it to Bratabase tomorrow. I've only worn it a few times and that was a year ago, but I liked it. I think someone reviewed the Luau recently...
I recently got the CK luau tankini in 36H, and I happen to like it a lot. Longer than the panache Holly I have and not quite as tight on my tummy. I love the side ruching strings on the side so I can have it longer for me. Or shorter if that's what's needed.

I'm 66 days into my weight loss now, with 12 lbs down and I've shrank so much. I seriously can't believe it.
I've got insane amounts of gaping going on in the 28HH Marcie and based on that, I suspect I'm about a 30G. The gaping I now get in my 70GG Cynamon further reinforces my suspicions. (Pictures of both ... in the link.) I have a yellow 30G Marcie on the way, so I'll know for sure pretty soon.
I'm glad I haven't ordered replacement HMs yet because I was leaning towards getting them in 70GG and I'm positive they would have been too big by the time they got here. At this rate, I won't be surprised if I shrink down to 30F/FF. It could also come to a screeching halt though so I'll try not to get too excited at the idea. EM's site hasn't shown any signs of running out of fabric for the bras I want, so maybe I can get away with waiting a bit longer to see where I land before I spend more money.
On a side note, I'm slightly saddened knowing I still have the skin to accommodate 30Js, if you catch my drift. It has gotten me wondering though - is a boob lift cheaper than a reduction? Ever since these puppies came in (well, at least since I started wearing 34Ds but probably earlier) at 11 years old, they've been pendulous. Would be nice to experience even remotely self supporting breasts for once in my life!
Also, completely unrelated, but I can't help but feel like the Marcie recall/trouble with Panache is karma for discontinuing 28D/DD/HH/J. Sympathetic for everyone who bought them and had issues, of course, but reading about it had me going "nana nana booboo" in my head, heh. I may have shrunk out of the 28HH/J, but I'm still sour about the cuts!

No good cosmetic surgery comes cheap. That's just the reality. Now personally, I would rather spend that $$$ on bras, but to each her own :-) However, I probably wouldn't do a lift at a young age unless I were 200% sure of not ever wanting to experience pregnancy. It will just stretch the skin out all over again!
Yeh, I figure it would still cost upwards of $4-5k.
Definitely 100% certain I don't want children, though! I'm way too selfish, immature and financially unstable for that. Plus, I don't even like kids, lol. I prefer animals :p

I've been on Bratabase for about a year and am still searching for the perfect fit. I'm happy to say I've had a couple “wins” (yay!) but I have far more not-quite-fitting bras that are now listed for sale. (And more listings to come as I get around to taking more photos.)

Sorry about that! I have a love/hate relationship with selling things on eBay. They kind of have the monopoly on selling things to a wide audience online, but you also have to contend with (sometimes) unreasonable buyers, and ridiculous seller's fees every month -- which of course only increase if your ratings aren't up to snuff.
Make sure to contact her and ask what the problem was / photos of the product she received. Buyers can revise their feedback if they accidentally left it for the wrong item or have a problem resolved. If she won't respond, she's just being a jerk. Don't let her get you into a flame war, though. Above all, be professional.
Afterwards, make sure you comment on her feedback in a respectful, polite tone. That way, potential buyers can see your side of the story when they look at your feedback.

I think my boobs grew which feels very strange to me. I decided to try on a bra that I got a few months ago which was a little big on me at the time and it seems to fit now. I mean I'm happy that it fits but... I don't want to outgrow any of my bras or clothes. ... Bras are expensive! It could just be random boob swelling that will go away and never come back, but I would love it if my 30D - Parfait By Affinitas » Louisa Half Padded Bra (4222) actually fits all the time now. The only reason I didn't sell it is because I liked the fabric so much and it didn't come in a smaller size. Yay?

I lost my nude juna bra in Philippines abouat a month ago and I currently wear CK LUXE as my usual nude bra but the sean is obviously visible plus aimerfeel nude bra thing that I thought it might work !!!! I did it once tuttie bra bird bra. And im wearing them as strapless bra. But if I can apply silicone I wish I would. Mine is on my blog I posted it
I did once, but the bra wasn't the right shape for me to begin with so it was a dud. I think if it's the right shape and fit, it could work. But I agree that silicone elastic would be beneficial. I think you can buy silicone gel paint stuff to squeeze onto the bra, otherwise silicone elastic is available on eBay and etsy, but you'd have to replace the current elastic on the bra so it wouldn't be a quick fix.

Last night I went to the bar with my husband. I overheard some lady tell her husband that my boobs look the way they do because I'm wearing a pushup bra.
Now, there's nothing wrong with them or anything, but MY BOOBS LOOK THIS GOOD BECAUSE MY BRA IS THE RIGHT SIZE AND SHAPE.
It does piss me off that someone ... assumes I have to wear a pushup to have boobs that look good. No, I just have well fitted bras that actually suit my shape-with wires that go along my actual breast tissue. But no, so much misinformation out there. My boobs are 30H, which are nothing to sneeze at. They look just the same in unlined bras as they do in moulded because again, the unlined are the right size and shape.
It irks me that my boobs can't possibly be real based on their size (I've been asked if they were several times) or that if they are real, I MUST be wearing a pushup bra for them to look like that.
It took years for me to finally accept and love my boobs, and accept that I actually *don't* need help for them to look good (i.e. pushup bra)-I just needed to find the right shape for myself.
Anyway, rant over. I have always hated the saying "When you assume, you make an ass out of u and me" because really, when you assume, you're only making an ass out of yourself.

I was once in the office with my boss and 2 coworkers - now, I had a VERY close and friendly relationship w the coworkers, and we would have had the same relationship with the boss but he tried to keep a little distance just to be professional . . but sometimes he missed the mark.
So we were in there working on something with a little banter, and somehow the topic of breast implants came up - with "why would anyone do that" and my boss said something about "ask Cara" . . . I stared at him a moment and declared that I certainly wouldn't know, I never WANTED to be this big!
Ok, if it hadn't been for the fact that I actually sorta had a crush on him (and it was clearly mutual), I probably would have been offended. He was married but he flirted with me a lot more when I was single (I got married, then was separated, then got back together while I worked in his department)

so i've noticed on A LOT of photos (like 90%) of bra post here that people seem to think that gores pressing on breast tissue and or not "tacking" is okay?
i know it's not. but do some people just have to "put up" with it to get the support they need?

I havent seen anyone saying that? Ok, i've seen some saying it doenst tack and they dont know why and it doesnt matter, but if they find it comfortable - so what? I have seen some people saying they are tired of 'fit nazis' (sorry, hate that term) but the point is, there might be an 'ideal' idea of fit, but that doesnt mean everyone has to let that ideal rule their choices. Sometimes someone finds 'good enough' because it was in the budget, or because they like the look of it, or because they are tired of shopping. i think most people aim for a good fit, but just . .arent perfectionists . . .
so i should just give up on finding a bra that doesn't press into my breast tissue? when people ask for fit request they obviously expect questions such as these. so when i ask, people just ignore me.
i'm sick of it, i'm just trying to help people and understand.
i am by no means a fit "nazi" i'm just a are u sure it fits and is it okay? type and get no response.
so it leaves me in the dark.

Those pink ribbons are kind of bookmarks for you. If you klick on the the ribbon it should turn pink, and then you are linked to the post for comments that are added.
They don't show up on bra reviews, just adventures.

Just got my Kris Line Kelly today! It's a super cute bra (very soft material) but obviously NOT the size I ordered. I purchased the bra from brastop.com...the tag on the inside is labelled as an EU J cup. Anyone ever experience this kind of craziness from brastop.com?
I'm seriously disappointed, I was sooo looking forward to another bra from Poland (the fit is amazing) and having something super cute...I think sticking with Ewa may be best for me.

There's a lot of EM bras I would love to try. Porcelanka and the Malachit and BM szarotka. I think the Malachit is discontinued. And I'm afraid to order bc I have no clue what my EM size is. :/
