Jj What if we're one of those folks that buys like Comexim or Anna Pardal? Those alterations are done by Comexim and before we ever see the bra. But it's not like there's a ton of measurements for those bras, so should we really be clicking the exclude from calculations checkbox?

These custom mods are a difficult situation still. I have not had the chance to compare them side by side, but from looking at the data it seems that the numbers we capture don't vary much.
If you leave the alterations box unchecked, that would be fine, I just ask you that in your review you indicate which modifications you got for this bra, so if in the future we decide to treat them separately I can read it there and do what we need.
That makes sense, as they only alter by cm and most people aren't going to make huge jumps. I will make sure I list it in my reviews then, thanks.

For those of you who know your shipments have been caught up in customs on its way to you, how did you know that's what was holding it up? I have a Comexim order that was shipped to me nearly a month ago, and it's hasn't moved at all. I'm guessing it's in customs somewhere, but I'm starting to worry. ... I thought weather may have been to blame (I'm in VA, and the upper east coast is being slammed by winter right now), but my recent EM order took about 10 days to get to me. Meanwhile, 3 weeks later, and my Comexim order is still saying, "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment."

Do you know what company/system they use to track/ send it? I got a tracking number but I have no idea where to go to track it!
Scharminkeltje told me a couple of days ago she was RETURNED a package she sent to me from Poland in November. :( She is sending it back to me with a tracking number so we can watch it. I was hoping the tracking number would have an impact on delivery, but maybe not. :P

You have to go to the bra's page (you'll need to go to a specific size). Under the measurements there should be a dropdown to add the bra to a list or make a new one.
Alternatively, you could go to "my bras" click "add another bra" and input the brand, model, size, etc.

I just placed an Ewa Michalak order for the PL Laguna and the new CHP (Kabaretka). Both are kind of a gamble, because I haven't been very successful with the PLs (mostly with falling out and straps being too far apart) and I don't know anything about the new CHP. Wish me luck!

Hi peeps - just wondering: when I look at fit requests, it usually has a list of breast shape descriptors at the bottom of the request (eg 'Full on top, 'Rather empty', 'Close set'). Are these descriptors we can choose or are they to do with sets from the breast shapes gallery we've identified as being like us? I've just re-done my measurements but can't find a section for this - does anyone know where / how this is gathered? Thanks! And sorry if this has been asked recently...

Right now those shapes are the ones you pick when you set your measurements. Right now you have two places to set shapes.
One is the old way where you pick those named shapes from a list. And the new one is where you select shapes from the breast shapes gallery.
I recommend that you do both for now.
I still can't see a list to pick words from anywhere...:-S
Some users on Bratabase have the verified symbol next to their username. How do I go about getting it too?

Really, I don't have a complete answer to this. I started to do this in order to provide a way for other users to have more validation that another user is not a fake or problematic account.
The verification flag is assigned manually, I usually check users with highest reputation and then it becomes a bit random about what happens for me to assign it. I never really formalized this. I just wanted a way to expose that some users are real trusted people, but I didn't think much about an exact procedure :-/

I just now thought about the fact that I'm waiting on packages from Scharminkeltje! How long does it normally take for packages to reach you from Poland, fellow USers? Is there something in customs I should be worried about or anything? The first one was transferred on Dec 15 and I was just wondering if there is something I should do to ensure safe delivery!

Two weeks is the norm. Expect a bit longer due to the holidays.
It usually takes right around 21 days for me to get stuff shipped from individuals in Poland. Holidays might slow it up, not sure on that.

Question for everyone.....
Are we able to link our measurements and/or bra fitting requests/etc with the pictures of our personal breast shape pictures that I recognize as my own to help in getting better fit iformation?
Uhm.. no, not yet actually. In your fit request your measurements will be displayed, but not the shapes you've selected. This is a very good point. I can make it an option so that you have the option to include them.
What you can do for now though is to paste the link of the shape set you associated with your measurements. Anybody will be able to see it.

So I am really new and still figuring out all the inner workings of the site. If I have messaged you through a listing you have to ask you a general question I apologize. I can't find a normal message feature. I'm sure it is there but I just can't find another way.
I was messaging back and ... forth with a couple users the last few days and noticed the changes in the subject lines from RERE: to something like "A LOT OF REs" and then to "Boy are we chatty" and then to "Chat forever" lol. I got a kick out of it because I thought that was so witty that the user had done that and I was laughing to myself. And then today a completely different user and I had a few back and forths and there it was "Boy are we chatty" lol. I DF a double take and closed the messages because I was thinking I mistakenly replied to the wrong message from before. You got me, Bratabase!

It took me a while to figure out that it was bratabase as well. I usually don't get to quite so many emails, so it took a couple of really long chains for me to realize it wasn't the other person. I like it too.
Lol, I agree--the "boy are we chatty" is super cute!
Anyway, it's somewhere in the rules regarding messaging. I think you have to have a certain reputation to be able to message someone randomly, but anyone can message the owner of a listing, and once you have a conversation open with someone, either party can reply at any time.
