I really want this bra to work for me, but it's just not a good fit. I'll probably keep it and wear it anyway. The band is pretty good for me, not as tight as it could be but comfortable. The gore is too wide and the wires are way too wide for me. I love the color, the polka dots, the bra all around. But it's just not one for me. Color is a pretty aquamarine, bright and pretty. I love the straps. I like the two hooks over three.
I love Lucy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> I have found that generally Cleo unpadded (and even the padded ones in the Leila, Nina family) suit my shape very well. I've experimented with other brands, but I keep coming to the conclusion that Cleo is great for me.
This particular bra gives a very nice rounded shape, and is extremely supportive for such a cute looking, compact bra. Perfect for taking with you if you travel a lot. I have difficult breasts for the center gores to tack, since I have a mild case of pectus excavatum. I know, it's apparently a condition that's more apparent with small boobs, but I guess I have it too. On top of that, I think my boobs are pretty close set, but Lucy has no problems tacking nicely. I love it.
I will be selling this 30FF since it's time for me to move on to 30G's... I'll be buying a 30G one soon.
This bra, like other panache bras, has wide wires. I ws hoping cleo would have narrower wires, but I have not found this to be true. It is not really a good fit for a somewhat narrow, full on top bust, like mine. However, with that being said, it is of great quality and pretty. The band is stretchy, but not overly so and strap seperation is average. The underwires poke badly in my underarms, but this really is the best fitting bra I have so I will make do until I get a better fitting bra. ** Update**
This bra is unwearable for me because of the underwires after ...a couple wears. I looked back at my pictures and realized I was actually stretching the underwires because the band was so stretched. Stretchy bands are not always a good thing. I put the bra on without fastening the back and lo and behold, the underwires are NOT too wide, just too tall under my arms and too short at the sternum. Also the cups are gaping badly. I am going to try for a 34 H in Cleo and see if that helps.
This bra actually felt great. The band was a good size. The straps fit. I had a bit of room in the upper cup tho. I also have very soft breast tissue so my boobs sort fell out in the middle....bending over made them escape like pudding from a bowl....right in the middle.
The band was way too tight for me. I would definitely need a 32 (I had to wear an extender to try it on).
The wires had a good width, although I would have liked for them to be taller. I have a long torso and I think I generally just need tall wires. There was a bit of loose fabric at the top of the cup. I think that this style was just a bit too deep for me and not quite right for my shape. I don't think a 32E would fit me any better.
I wish this had fit, though. The print is gorgeous and it's a really lovely bra. The underwires feel sturdy and the construction looks great.
This band was too snug for me (I usually wear 30 bands, but my underbust measurement has gone up a bit recently). I definitely would need the 32. I only wanted to stretch it to 72cm, but I could *just* put it on without an extender (although I used an extender to judge the fit otherwise).
The tops of the cups were way too empty. I'm not sure if the 32E would work for me or if the shape is just all wrong. The underwire feels extremely sturdy, so this would be a good bra if you find that a lot of underwires are too flimsy. The strip that the hooks are on is fairly thin and the two hooks/eyes aren't placed very far apart.
Otherwise, this is a really pretty bra and I wish it had fit me!
this fits quite snug at first but gives fantastic uplift. bought another one and measured side by side - after 2 months the band has stretched at least 6cm / more than 2" so it now tends to slide up. dont buy it if you dont want up front and at em boobs, they are really in your face (and everyone elses!) they provide you with 2 distinct mega boobs that are well supported, very slight excess lace on the top but not too prohibitive. they only come in dark blue or black, sadly. THE MEASUREMENTS ARE FOR THE WORN BRA This now fits better with my rixie clip
I freakin' LOVE this bra. Its fit rivals that of Empreinte - very front and centre with terrific support and terrific lift. The band fits snugly and does not budge all day (go up a band size) but the cups are quite deep and true to size. The print is amazing and the fabric is so firm (but comfortable). This bra looks like a million bucks and it's very affordable. Also, it's super comfortable and it gives a terrific shape under clothing.
There is a bit of wrinkling in the top of the cup and the straps kind of dig into the area between my armpit and the shoulder. The band on the 32GG is looser than that of the 32G. (band length of 32G is 25.5" and of the 32GG is 27").
I don't know if this is a perfect fit, but it is the first bra to fit me this well. They straps dig in a little where my armpit meets my shoulder. No quadboob. gore fits flat. pretty good fit
My first bra after getting re-sized for weight loss and discovery of the proper way to size a bra. I measure a 27.5 around my ribcage and this bra is pretty tight, I'll probably get an extender for it before wearing it regularly. Cups fit very nicely, underwire is a good width and gore sits perfectly on my chest.
I would love to try the same bra in the sister size 30FF to see if that might help with the incredibly tight band.
The black seems to be true to size. The only issue I had is that the gire dug into my sternum, but bending the wires slightly away from my body now makes is by far the most comfy bra I own. The lace doesn't lie flat, and it shouldn't when the bra fits correctly. If the lace lies flat, the cup is too small
First thing's first: this is the sweetest looking cherry red bra I've ever seen. The material used feels pretty great: the band feels very sturdy and the lightweight material of the cups feels though almost as it's not there at all. As far as the fit goes: argh, so close! The band is tight, I could really use an extra hook setting. I would need an extender to wear this all day. The center gore tacks, my boobs look pretty cute under clothing, front facing and uplifted. I seem to fill it out perfectly when I look down, but there's misfortune lurking nearby... under my arm. The cups are just too wide! ;( Near my armpits the side edge of the cup stands away and wrinkles a bit.
This is based on the same model as the George/Alex/Sasha/Chloe/Marcie, etc. However, it seems to run slightly larger than some of the others, or maybe just be suited to someone very full on top? In any case, I get gaping at the top of the cup with the Lana, which I don't in the same size in the Marcie and Alex.
It's made of softer fabric, like the Marcie, not the stiffer fabric used for the Alex/Meg.
I don't think this is the right bra for me. Sure, when I first tried it on it seemed to fit in every way it should, but over time it has become a torture device because it stabs me painfully in the armpits.
The bra seemed a bit flimsy to me at first and now it seems even more so. It would be great if just two hooks and a teensy bit of lace could hold me up, but I should never have believed the bra's promises. The wires warped almost immediately although the two hooks on the band have stood up to use better than I expected.
I like the shape and I like the lift and the purple color is okay although not as nice as some of the other colors, but the construction just isn't solid enough for me.
