I have been drooling over pictures of Meg online for months, so when I found her in my size at Nordstrom Rack I was so excited. The print is fantastic and I love the matching little bird charm on the gore.
She's not Perfect, in that the cups wrinkle a little bit even though they're not too big. It is fine to wear, but Marcie fits me better. If I end up not being able to deal with it I'll sadly put her up for sale heh.
I love the look of this bra. It's gorgeous, I can fit out the bottom and the top, and it doesn't cut into the tops of my boobs.
Unfortunately, it's not perfect. I don't love the shape it gives me. From the front view, it contains the sides of my boobs most effectively on the bottom and less at the top. This makes me look like my boobs are very wide at the top and small on the bottom, with no curve at all. While the material is soft and generally comfortable against my skin, it is very uncomfortable on a hot, sweaty day. The gore comes up higher than I would like, causing the wires to dig into my sternum. The straps are a little too far apart. After extended wear, I noticed that the cups are digging into my armpits. When I take the bra off at the end of the day, it leaves red marks.
This bra is cut pretty much the same way as the Natasha I tried in the same order, which is apparently a gussied up Marcie! But Lana seems more forgiving than Natasha in terms of fit. The main portion of the cup is made up of a delightfully soft, smooth, and stretchy two-layer mesh, and the decorative top part is one layer of mesh with very soft embroidery, so that it feels more like one unified cup and not a discordant top segment that you must be a particular shape to fill out properly. The embroidered embellishments are so soft and thin that this bra would disappear under ...most tops, though it's up to you if you want to flash this bold color under something sheer and white. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
I was getting majorly mashed and quadded out - the one I got was a cup size too small for what I measure as, and then it seems to run a bit small besides that. The band felt very snug but not uncomfortable, and it felt stretchy when compared to the firmer, stiffer Natasha. When this season's batch goes on sale, I will want to snap one up in a larger cup size, since I love the colors and the soft material, and the shape seems very compatible with my shallow breasts. This is a beautiful bra. Too bad it is too small for me. i read reviews online that said it ran big so to size down in cup but it does not fit me. I hate to part with it as the colors are gorgeous!
I loved this bra while it still fit me. It's very comfortable, and it gave me a divine shape. The top of the cups shows through thin shirts (because of the ribbons and other decorations), but that's the only fault I could find with this bra. Because the cups are cut so open at the top I could still wear it when I became a 30D. I'd say if you have wide root shallow breasts and you can still find a Charlie in your size, grab it. I wish Cleo still made this so I could get one in my new size.
This bra looks better in person than it does in stock photos online - the colors are more harmonious and the heart charm looks cute. Unfortunately, the lace trim got kind of sad and wrinkled even as my breast bulged out over top of it. Not a good look!
The band feels firm, it was less stretchy than the other Cleo bra (Lana) I got in the same order. I think it would hold up well over time, and even though I measure as a 28, I'd stick with the 30 in this style, *and* size up in the cup if I were to try again. The material of the cups is somewhat stiff compared to the decorative lace on the top edge, and the boundary between the two seemed to exacerbate the fit issues.
This bra was really interesting in that it wasn't padded or lined but also felt structurally stiff like a molded bra. The material is very thin and soft, but has little to no stretch and so feels quite comfortable and supportive.
The band ran loose like most Cleo bras I have tried, but the cups seemed to run a little big and were pleasantly deep. It was two cup sizes smaller than I typically take in Cleo bras but I only had slightly noticeable quad boob some of the time. The wires were also a bit narrow, so it is possible that not all of my tissue was ...making it into the cup.
The pattern is very pretty, though the pink lace on the cup rim is not my favorite. The straps are quite wide set which is interesting on a cup that is cut so low all the way across. It ends up attaching closer to my side under my armpit than in front of my shoulder, so from the front you can't even see the end of the straps. I actually quite like this, and found that it rubs less than other models which attach to the cup higher on the front of the bra.
I'm sure that someone with more upper fullness than me would have problems in this bra, as it is not particularly open on top. With how steeply the upper cup cuts back in towards the chest, it might be good for some full-on-bottom breasts as well.
All around I'm really happy with this bra, and would like to try it in a smaller band but larger cup for improved wire width and cup volume. Read more 171 more words
This bra is very comfortable. The cups were soft and well shaped. The band wasn't terribly tight, but I went with a different bra of the same brand in a 34 with a smaller cup because this bra only comes in hot pink leopard print, and I needed something more neutral.
Pros: -This bra is really pretty! The lace is cute and the bright red color is fun -Nice narrow gore, excellent for my close-set breasts. -Textured straps help keep the adjusters from slipping - Very comfortable - Great shape -Band is nice and firm; measures true to size.
Cons: -Wires too wide for my narrow root, leading to empty cup fabric under the arms. -Wires about 1" shorter than their channel... don't quite understand this. -Straps too wide-set for me - they rub my arms.
I wish this bra would work for me, but I'm realizing I'm probably more of a Freya gal. The wires and straps are too wide-set for comfort for me.
I'm not really a fan of the print, but the materials and construction seem decent. Unfortunately, the cups are way too small, and the band is a bit loose. If the cups fit I could wear it to work and be just fine, but it wouldn't take long before the band becomes too loose for me. I'm now looking into 30HH bras. I believe this bra would work for someone full on the bottom, because of the elastic edging at the top of the cup.
My favourite cut at the moment (I have the Rihanna too). This bra looks nice, fits me perfectly and is just very comfortable. Like its more colourful sister models, the Juna runs a bit smaller than other bras, so I went up a cup size. The only thing that could be better are the rings attached to the straps: because I need very long straps, these come to rest on the bones in my shoulders and this can be a bit uncomfortable after a while. It's not a big deal, though. As long as you don't need super-wide wires this is the perfect bra for wide root shallow breasts https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />.
So this bra is generally great, average for Cleo bras in every way (and unlike the Chloe and Marcie that I have, doesn't have awful uncomfortable embroidery/lace in the cups.) There's one really irritating problem with it, though, which is the wrinkling fabric at the top of the cup. It isn't that the cup is too big (if anything, I get faint quadboob along the top edge.) It is that the section of the cup between the middle seam and the top trim has extra space in it - and obviously since both edges around it are tight, it can't stretch or fill out. So I get this ...irritating puffy section at the top of the bra that shows under most shirts.
Otherwise though, I like it better than my other Cleos. It seems to run a little looser in the band than my Marcie, for comparison, and the cups do run about a size big - although, irritatingly, not quite a full size big, so this 30F is just a little small on me, making the wires try to sit on breast tissue at the gore, but a 30FF (my usual size) was too big. I bought this bra from another member but unfortunately, and as I anticipated it was too big. I loved the colour (red hot?) though, it was kind of pinkish and pretty! The straps and detail were a very pale blue! The material was lovely and soft, MUCH nicer than I thought it was going to be! The wires didn't sit great on my body, they sort of turned out and were too wide, but this is most likely just because the cups were 1 or 2 sizes too big! The gore rubbed slightly but I have this in every bra! The band was nice, not too tight and ...not too loose, I think I prefer a more sturdy thick band but it was decent nonetheless and was true to size I'd say! I sold this bra on, and I bought it in purple in a different size, but was then told it was out of stock! I think New Look also stocks this bra now, but not in 28 bands! Though, I am going to get my size in this bra eventually as it makes a good comfortable, every day bra! Read more 83 more words
This was my first attempt at measuring myself for a correctly fitting bra. I've learned this was not the right size for me (major gaping in the top of the cups) because I've now averaged my leaning breast measurement with my standing one (and there's a significant difference)
I can imagine if this bra were the correct size, I would really like the underwire placement.
This bra is beautiful. However, it is way too small. The gore tacks, which is weird because it gave a little quadboob. I let the straps out all the way and it feels/looks a little better but still definitely doesn't fit.
The band is also too tight. I tried turning it around and hooking it in the front, and still too tight. It can be hooked, but I would need an extender to wear it for any length of time.
This cut of Cleo doesn't work for my boobs. My boobs seem to be shallow, so I fill out the bottom of the cup but I get a lot of gaping at the top of the cup. This bra would work better for someone fuller on top.
