Not much lift, but still gives a very nice centered and rounded shape. A personal favorite.
The center gore sometimes chafes at the bottom end (thin, stiff fabric) and the more loose mesh used in the upper parts of the cups can create a slight quad-boob-y bulge on softer breasts at the seam between the different materials.
For me, the bra makes up for its slight flaws with its good fit. It's also very lightweight, and made with soft materials that conform well to more finicky breasts.
Nice, rounded shape with modest lift. The construction on the upper parts of the cups is a bit odd. The fabric is perhaps a little too stiff. It doesn't conform to the shape of the breast and, at least for me, creates an unsightly line where the seam digs slightly into the breast tissue.
The center gore, made with strong but rather thing fabric, digs in a little harshly as well.
Not a bad bra all in all, but not one I'd shell out full price for.
The only problem I have with it right now is that I have creases next to my armpits and it looks like I have armpit fat when really its just excess skin. The straps worsen this problem but its not a fitting issue, just an appearance issue! It did leave red marks/dents in my skin over my ribcage but it doesn't really hurt so I wouldn't call that an issue. The band is comfortable yet snug and the cups are just right, if not a tiny tiny bit too small.
I was sent a mislabeled one. So the band was too big. The cups felt really great, though the wire was a bit narrow. It pokes in my right armpit, but I can't figure out if its too short or too high. It didn't poke on my larger breast. When I lost a few kilos, I didn't poke at the smaller breast anymore. It rides down horrible at the front and up in the back. It was pretty good for staying at home in, but for walking around, it was sliding around and digging in under my breasts. I returned it as it was wrongly labeled. I've ...tried ordering a 30HH and I'll see how that fits.
Edit: I tried a 30HH, but it gave a square/pressed against a window shape. The straps were too far out so they dug into my arms. I might try a 32GG again. If the band is too large/becomes too large, I'll alter it.
Edit no. 2: I tried a 32GG again. It fits great in the cups, though the wires are a bit short on the sides. The strap placement is okay. The 32 band is a bit big. I've lost weight since trying the 32GG the first time. I've closed in on the 3rd hook first, but I tried on the 2nd hook too, and it seems okay. If I where to go out and walk around, shop ect, I would close it on the 3rd hook for more support. But right now, sitting at the computer, it actually feels pretty great. The wires also need a little bending, but not until I'm sure if I'll keep it. But I think I will. I'd rather have to alter the band, than having the cup shape be wrong for me in a 30H or 30HH. This is the turquoise one btw, and the other two were the red ones. Read more 210 more words
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bra. It's super cute! The cups fit really well and the band is firm. It gives a really nice full out in front shape. Highly recommended
A really cute bra. The band is very firm and secure. It took some wearing. The shape is very out in front, not flattened or pushed back. Only criticism is the cup is a little bit too big, but it's hardly noticeable.
Fits similar to the @Cleo Lucy. At the end of the night the underwire does poke into my armpit area, however is very comfortable until then. It also gives me a great shape.
This bra is great on me until the end of the night. At the end the underwire is poking into my underarm area. Otherwise very comfortable. The band may also be a bit big, however I was uncomfortable in the sister size 34G. This brand of bras seems to give me the best shape.
I think it's a great T-shirt bra for wide root shallow breasts. I had some very slight gapping at the top of the cups, but the elastic lace covered that. What I didn't like about the Maddie in this size was that the cups came up fairly high under my arms, so that the top of the cups would peek out under a tank top. I know this is normal for a lot of girls here, but I don't usually have this problem. Because of that and because I couldn't decide which size to buy (as my boob tissue seems to keep migrating), I sent both Maddies back in the end.
I just grabbed this at my Nordstrom Rack. The 34G is perfect in the band but just a little big in the cups. I love my Cleo Marcie in her 34FF, and I think this would have been Perfect in a 34FF if I could have found it, but the amount of big this is won't even show under a shirt I don't think, and the fit Feels quite nice which is all that matters https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Edit: Wore it around the house all day and I can't stand the too loose cups even though everything else about it fits great. Such a shame :/
In unlined Cleo's I need a 34FF but in these moulded cups I need a 34G.. is that weird? I love the star print on this bra and it fits really well, although I do feel that the stars are a bit young for me (not that I care). I love that the straps are plain black and thin, this is perfect for when straps may show.
The cups cut into me at the top slightly. The wires pokes me to death at the end of a long day under my arm, probably because of the amount of fat and/or migrated tissue that is free under there, even after scooping and swooping. The band stretches really easily compared to the Andorra I have of the same size. The fit may be better in a larger cup size. All in all it's a step toward finding out what cuts don't work for me
B. Very very gorgeous bra, but the cups were too small for me. Band was nice and tight, and the bra material was very comfortable though, so I'll try to reorder in 28DD to see how that fits. I'm getting the sense that I need to size up in Cleo bras...
The Marcie is just so, so pretty. Unlike others, I didn't find the band too tight, but I usually size up in Panache anyway... It's also a bit too high in the cups, so I can't wear it with some of my deeper v-necks, but, as of now, it's my best fitting bra.
Definitely for the full on top. I thought I was full on top, but it doesn't take much movement at all for this cup to gape. Straps are further apart than is comfortable for me. Otherwise, gives a great, natural yet rounded shape under clothing, and firm fabric feels supportive.
I ordered this in 30FF instead of 28G (I'm kind of between sizes) because I heard the band runs tight, but I think I could have ordered a 28.
Fabric is a little scratchy. Hopefully that'll change after a few washes.
I was super happy with this bra when I first put it on. After a day, I found my breathing felt restricted. The gore poked at first but pushing the underwire toward the armpit fixed that problem. Looking at it now, I am uncertain that it contains all my bust tissue rather than sitting on some of it. Hmm. It does look fabulous under a shirt and very cute without. That being said, I'm still going braless rather than wear it.
