This bra is so cute! I love the bright red plaid - which is definitely more of a pink red, than orange red. The band is very tight so I do need to wear it with an extender. I can close it without using one, but it feels uncomfortable after a couple hours. One or two more sets of hook would have been perfect. Which I did request the alteration of having a 2x4 hook closure, but only ended up with a 2x3 hook closure. I did have the straps moved it 2cm. I thought that this would help with the straps falling down… but for some reason it ended up making the cups feel more shallow or smaller. They still fit but it doesn't really give me the lift/silhouette that I like under clothing. It sort of flattens me a bit. Still, I do like this bra. It will just probably end up being my work or travel bra and not one that I wear everyday.
If this bikini fit, it would be so cute! I love the pattern and it's nice and soft, it's just not the right size for me at all. It's weird, because there's gaping in the front center, like my boobs don't fill it out, but I am spilling out of the sides of the cup, near the armpits. What the heck! I have no idea how to go about figuring out a fix for that. Maybe someone here can help! I really want to order a new one, but unsure how I should size it; the band is super stretchy, and the straps are very long. I'm afraid to order a band size smaller in case the cups are too small yet again! This was ordered from Bra Obsessed earlier this summer, (Jaimie is really awesome and helpful!) and was sent in UK size of 34GG. My normal Comexim size is 80HH, but I think with swimwear, I'd want to size down to 75HH because of the stretchiness. Any thoughts?
My Pin Up Girl has started gapping and folding over at the center gore. It was doing this before my recent shrinkage too. Have no idea why it was literally folding in half, and it seems to be just the right side.
In your case, it could be simply that it has too much room at the gore for you. Maybe the gore is too tall, and possibly a gore reduction could help.

Moving the straps in slightly decreases the cup size. Also the UK equivalents aren't spot on because of the cm changes versus inches. People usually size up a cup size or two to find the right volume in comexim.
When I first receive this I was not that impressed with it. My bra doesn't have the lace on the band and one of the seems had some loose stitches. I also find it looks better on a person then just in a box. I'll asked for an overlapping gore, and it only over laps at the tips. I think I ask for shorter, narrower and overlapping gore next time. The first time I put it on it was gaping like crazy and I thought this is not going to work. Then after S and S and pulling the wires into the right place I was like WOW ...it works. The gore sits slight on my breast but that is what happen when there is no space. Through out the day I noticed it shifting and becoming more gappy. So I bent the wires to match the curve of my ribcage also making the cups deeper and narrower and it now stays in place much better. I actually have cakes on a plate cleavage in this bra which is hard to come by due to being splayed and lack of in fullness. I feel like the cups are compressing me a little but if I went up size the cups would be too tall. I need more immediate depth not more over projection. Comexim 3HC work for narrow, functionally FOB, and shallow tall roots but they are not perfect. My Papillon 3HC I find fits a little better because the padding a little thinner. I need something shaped more like an EM CHP but without the hard, ouchy wires. Read more 161 more words

Yeah all of my overlapping gores only overlap at the tip. That's how you know the alteration was done (in my experience). I had to bend the wires some on mine too. I have shallow tall roots too and so far EM ch/chp are my best match. Problem is it takes too long for custom orders. Your size is more common than mine though, so that may be something to try if you haven't already? I think the bra looks really good on you...but if it doesn't feel right that's what matters. I prefer my cup a little tall and to pad over having quadding, but that's my preference. Plus you don't appear to have the quadding I have in a smaller size.
so far I've tried one CHP and I had to alter the gore to be overlapping in order for it to fit. The gore hurts too much to wear it. I would like to try another one but don't want to spend $50 and have something unwearable. Maybe I'll buy another used one.
I only need slightly more projection at the wire. When I wearing it I feel like my boobs are being pressed flat. When I remove my bra the wires are slight below my IMF. I think the cups are too tall even in this size. when I order more bras from Comexim I definitely plan on emailing Anna to see if I can get more space at the wire and shorter cups.
I ordered this in the same size as my UK size(28GG). It is my first try with an unlined Comexim and it is a fail. I have short roots, touching and center full breasts and I need a lot of immediate projection. It is a full cup bra and I should have known that would be a problem for me. The cup is tall at 7 3/4 inches and I cannot fill the top. The band is very stretchy . Fastening it in the loosest hook feels a little loose. I can fasten it comfortably in the innermost hook. If I was to ...order this again, I would go with a 55. The straps are also very stretchy.
This is a very light weight bra and I think it would be a dream to wear in the hot summer months.
I requested narrowed gore, overlapping wires and lowered gore by 1cm. Those alteration appear to have been done . The gore fit, while not perfect , is one of the better fits I've had. Gore tacks softly.
I do not have wrinkling in the side of the cup under the arms which I have in every bra I've ever tried , other than one Anna Pardal plunge.
Even though the depth is only 10.25 and I normally need 11" in a UK sized bra, somehow in these Polish bras, I don't seem to need as much depth. Wires are 5 5/8 " so really not any narrower than my Cleo bras.
I will be listing this bra. I really think someone who normally wears a 30/65 would be fine in this bra because of how stretchy he band is.
SIGH. I fit well, except for the gore width, in a Curvy Kate Dreamcatcher. This comparison is the 30F. I will receive a 30FF soon, bend the gore wires outward, and tack the lower gore closer together at he bottom: should fit. Height-wise, the 30F is perfect.
@Love4Polinators Sigh is right. The changes I made to the gore seemed to be on the right track. I may try one of their unlined balcony bras. I haven't really looked at them yet. I tried the CK dreamcatcher in a 28GG a couple of months ago and it was way too small in the cup, kind of a strange fit on me. This Eve almost seemed a little big in the cup, perhaps it was just because it was full cup.
The 65HH Eve I tried was TOO tall, but exceptionally comfortable; excepting the gore and cup height. Balcony next for me, too.
Love4Pollinators. Yes, very comfortable with really nice material,yes, really really tall cup. I wish more people would measure all the bras they post on bra adventures. They post them here and entice me and then I go to find measurements and they aren't there. so frustrating.

Ok I'll get the boring stuff out of the way first, narrow, projected but not as much as the 3HC, I got the moved in straps and narrowed gore alterations and they are great, also 55 band is great, 55H fits like UK 26F as usual, etc etc. The cups are tall but not overly so.
And now on to the interesting part, which is how this bra differs from Irish Coffee in other cuts. The most notable feature is the top of the cups, which have ...a raw lace edge instead of the ribbon edge that other ICs have. I'm the only person on bratabase right now who owns this bra in the HC cut, so I have no idea if that's the reason for the change or if they just ran out of brown ribbon, but either way I'm not complaining. It's really beautiful. The reason I ordered this in HC was because I wanted to minimize the number of seams breaking up the lace pattern, and in my opinion this design feature just adds to that effect even more. I mean, look at it! You can see whole unbroken roses in the lace continuing over the top of the cups. I'm definitely always going to order lacy styles as HCs from now on. I adore Comexim for letting me customize the bra in this way and for their sometimes surprising but always brilliant design choices. And of course for making 55 bands. Comexim is my one true bra love.
Another interesting feature is that the charm at the center is a "C" with a little gem, rather than the sun-shaped charm that my IC plunge has. Again, not sure if this has to do with the cut or just that they ran out of the suns and are switching to Cs generally. I think it's cool that I get to have one of each.

There are a bunch in the 3HC cut that all have the brown ribbon. Sometimes they just switch up how they make them lol
I considered the irish coffee, but went with the piosin ivy and two others instead. I'm still toying with alterations to get my comexim fit just right. So I may order this after I get my current order this week. I get a 3HC with overlapping and shortened gore and just tried moving in the straps. I'm a 55L, so the sizing would be close enough where I'll let you know about the ribbon!
I was super excited to receive this bra in the mail today but unfortunately it is far too small. The band barely does up, the cups are only slightly too small, but it's hard to tell when the band size is so far off. I am pretty frustrated, I've fit into 85 bands from Nessa before, they're actually slightly large, and the 80 from EM feels larger than this. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to return/exchange this or try selling it.
It is a beautiful bra, so very pretty, I really wanted it to fit!
I have only one comexim, in an 80 band. it fits like a Ewa Michalak 75.
I have tried 2 mints and they are both tiny in the band! I did wear mine with an extender for about 2 months and it streches out quickely I think. I started with the full extender and now I can wear it comfirtably with only 1 rows extended..
Torn on this bra. The gore floats slightly at the top but with the style of this bra I am not sure it is an issue? Comexim suggested a 90 band and there is no way that would work as the 95 is tight. I will go for a 100 band next time and a different cup style. The bra fits best with crossed straps in the back which is how it was intended to be worn. Otherwise great quality bra as always with Comexim. The red is gorgeous with the black!
The band is tight, but fits somewhere between a British (like Cleo) band 28 and 30. This band seems closer to TTS than my Comexim Beauty Plunge in 65J---I have to wear an extender because that band is too tight. So, I'm not sure where to go on my next Comexim order as far as band size.
The cups are wonderfully narrow and allows for inner fullness. Somehow, this bra works great under tees and light-colored tops, almost like a neutral. Much prettier than any beige bra though. Fits me much better than a similar-sized Anna Pardal. ... I don't fall into the middle like I do with her plunges.
I ordered this from Zathiya and it only has 2 hooks. I also have a Comexim Beauty Plunge in 65J that I ordered from Braobsessed. The Beauty has 3 hooks. I prefer the 3 hooks. Not sure why this one only has 2 and I don't have enough Comexims to know which version is standard.

The band is perfect! I can fasten it onto the second hook, but I think it’s comfiest on the loosest at the moment. The shape is very uplifted I guess? I’m not sure how I feel about it. It gives me a lot of cleavage high up and in the centre, but by making it look like I have zero lower-boob tissue. I think the cups are definitely far too shallow for my average-projected breasts. There is maybe 2cm of empty space (there is buckling in the cup visible in the profile photo) at the bottom outer edge of the cup, between where my IMF is and where ...the wire sits, which is probably not helping the flat lower-boob silhouette. I'm quite short rooted, so having my boobs sitting so high on my chest feels / looks a little unusual to me. This is a cupsize smaller than my other best fitting bras, so going up a size may help the bit of quadding I have going on but I don't think it will give me the immediate depth I need. Yoko seems to be one of their shallower bras in general, and a 2HC (which is what I believe is the standard cut for the Yoko) is their shallowest cut. You might have more luck ordering it in a different cut. The 3HC is the same cut as your Roma, and the plunge is the same cut as your Veronique
My Yoko fit the same way sadly, meaning it did not work. I think you could probably request this as a 3HC which would fit far better.

For some reason, the band on my Victoria seems to run extra tight. It's a 65/30 and it stretches to barely 26". I haven't had any feedback from Anna about this yet. The cup is also too small for me, especially on the larger side. It's beautiful and I think it will fit well in the right size. It's a great quality bra and just what I've been looking for, so I hope a 65J with a band that runs true to size will be an easy fix.
Since I wasn't sure where to put this info, here's a quick summary of the alterations it came with:

This is beautiful! I love it without the eyelash lace--that was what deterred me from ordering this model, as I thought it may be irritating on my skin. I also love the navy with the cream bows :). Hope you can get one that fits!
My recent order from Comexim also had very tight bands. I haven't had a chance to measure yet but I suspect they don't stretch close to 30. I ordered a 70 band previously and based on how it fit I went back to 65 bands for this order.
klilly3 I thought the eyelash lace would be irritating, too (I apparently have sensory issues, lol). It's really soft and weightless, though. I didn't have any problem with the lace on the wings even though I thought for sure I'd feel it on my arms. I prefer the look without the lace on top by far.

This is surprisingly gorgeous without the eyelash lace! :) Never would've thought of that. I've been looking at Victoria but I never actually realized that this one also has the ribbon at the top edge making it closed off. This means that I'd probably need to size up if I end up ordering one. So thanks for the review! :)
That band is super weird indeed! These inconsistencies make bra shopping a bit difficult. :/ Hopefully your replacement will work better!

I'm not a fan of eyelash lace either, and it would never have occurred to me to ask to have it removed. It's lovely to know the customer service extends to this kind of customisation.
The band was really small in the beauty I got too. I ordered a 60 bc it was my sister size and in stock. It only stretches to a max 25. I need my bands between 23-25 inches thankfully, but I'd be mad if I was a 28 instead of a 24/26 band
omgosh this is SO comfy! i feel like a snob because i found my "perfect" bra! comexim has the best wires for me, and i'm able to go a cup size up to get the immediate projection i need, and then alter the gore down/closer (i'm extremely close set,) reduce cup height, add an extra row+column of hooks, etc. its AMAZING. so now i buy the "softest" or "silkiest" that i can find, and get them w/cookie pockets (those are cotton) and I've been in HEAVEN... the fabric on Pantera feels amazing, and although animal print isnt my thing, i dont even care. it FEELS awesome!

The blue on this bra is sooo much more vibrant and prettier than the photos online (I'll try to post photos soon). I love it! The band is very snug yet comfortable. The cups seem a bit lower than many of my other Comexims. I didn't request reduced cups so maybe it's just this way with the Mirage? My old Arizona feels this way too (Though I think my old Arizona might have a tiny bit more depth). Although they are a tiny bit lower the cups still fit me perfectly. There is no quadding and I don't feel like I'm going to fall out. The seams on ...this bra also don't show through clothing very much. I'm wearing a tight cotton/spandex dress at the moment and I can't see the seems at all (though there is a pattern on the dress which might be disguising the seems a bit too). UPDATE - After wearing this bra 3 times I'm not sure that I love it. The band is much stretchier than my other Comexims and the cups are so low that my nipples threaten to pop out. I can't figure out whey this 75F fits me this way when all I've ever owned are Comexim bras in a 75F (and I've owned at least 10 different styles!). Debating keeping this bra or selling it. An absolutely gorgeous bra. Padding is not too heavy or stiff the way the EM Syrena is.
I have this bra out for a test run from Zathiya to try to decide if I need reduced cups and straps moved in. I think I definitely need wires overlapped . With my touching boobs, the gore is always shifted to one breast or the other. This band is very short for a 60. I needed 1.5 inch in extender just to close it. My tight measurement is 26.5 and comfortable 27.5. I have a small amount of gaping in my smaller breast . What does everyone think? Would I do better in reduced cup and straps moved in? This bra fits well under my arms, not too wide in the cup with the wrinkles that I've had with every UK size I've tried.
This bra is beautiful! I think that the pictures will speak for themselves (once I post them) but I'll just note the alterations that I ordered on this bra so that I don't forget them down the line.

Prettyncharmeuse Yep, that's an alteration they'll do! They're still definitely on the softer side, but if you try to bend them inwards (as if to narrow the wires) they definitely have noticeable less give to them
Do you think they put in stronger wires or double up ? I find the ewa michalak and freya wires so soft too soft . This is a alteration I would definitely have done ... I have doubled freya wires by adding replacement wires .
After trying this bra in a plunge in 65G and it being too small in both the band and the cup, I saw a listing for the half cup model in 75G. Knowing that Comexim half cups generally require you to go up a cup and that based on the fit up the plunge I would need 2 cups larger for the half cup. The band on this does run a bit small which is why I took a chance on going 2 band sizes up. I love this bra and was so upset by my plunge that I got first not fitting, I ...do plan to order another Sonia since I think I will want to wear this frequently and it should work decently as a nude alternative. If I do order another one I will probably get a 70H (the 70 to help increase the lifespan of the band) in the half cup and if I try a plunge again I will try 70G. I would also request the straps moved in as they are a bit too wideset, although it might not be as much of an issue in a smaller band.
On another note, I had not yet sold the panties I had got with the 65G, I mistakenly ordered a small instead of a medium. I decided to hang on to them since the 75G fits and while being a bit snug they aren't uncomfortable, a medium would probably be a better fit but the small will work.
I was told prior to swapping for this bra that some stitching was missing along the band. I have restitched those areas and the band fits better since it was just a bit big.
I've also worn this under some light colored fitted shirts and I can't really notice the bra through the shirt so it is exactly what I had hoped for, a very pretty nude alternative. Now I'm regretting not adding another Sonia to my most recent Comexim order. I did order the Elena as a 2 seam half cup and am hoping it works out as good as the Sonia.
This is probably my favorite bra, and I need to order another because I always want to wear this one, it's so pretty and such a good fit, I love it.
Update, after trying several sizes of 3HC I can confidently say that this bra is incorrectly sized. I tried ordering in a sister size 65HH since I usually wear a 65 band they were a bit too big in the cup and the band was quite small. I placed another order and got a 70G, which fits and I also swapped for a 65H which is a perfect fit. Read more 359 more words
This is my first Comexim bra and I sister sized to a 75F(34:6) rather than an 70G(327) which is supposed to fit a 32F(UK). The measured bands seemed to run tight, and I'm glad I did. When I measured the stretched band it ran just under 32" before the wire started to bend as well. It's narrow enough and fits really well. The peach and pale grey color works well with my fair skin and I'm able to wear it under light/white shirts without the color showing through. The only thing is that there's a bit of space between my root and the top of the cup where ...the cup meets the strap, but it's so negligible and doesn't cause wrinkling or discomfort. This happens to me with most plunges since I have fairly short roots. For this reason, I wouldn't be able to wear it as a strapless. I think I might try a half cup from Comexim next time.
Edit: After wearing the bra a few times, I realized it doesn't offer as much projection as I need and the wires keep getting pushed out of my IMF. The height of the cup also bothers me after a while. I'll definitely try their half cups since I hear they have more projection and will work better with my short roots. Read more 113 more words
First things first, almost every part of this bra is a different shade of the same color. See pics for clarification. They blend and work fantastically together, and almost appear to be the same, but they're not. Secondly, the lace overlay is beautiful but already starting to pill over the cup. Neither are really a big deal, but something to be aware of.
I got this with an overlapping gore, straps moved in 2 cm, and cookie pockets. I feel like this asks for a hair more center projection than I have, but the slight shallowness pushes my boobs up and in, almost managing to compensate. Love it!
It is beautiful, but almost looks like the cups are too narrow for you, it looks as if the wire is digging in on the side, although you do look amazing in it.

This adorably pastoral bra is luxurious and and beautiful in person. It feels expensive and was very comfy. The band is insanely stretchy and supportive and the straps didn't cut in. Sadly this Comexim bra was one perfectly floral 3-part cup size shy of perfection. I'll shoot for a 75H next time.
