Very pretty balconette bra. The band fits me perfectly, it seems. The cup is slightly small though on my larger boob, it's not quite overspill but there is some cutting into the tissue on the top of the cup. The centre gore starts out resting against my ribcage, but quickly lifts just a bit. I think this is due to the cups being slightly too small. They are wide enough but could be deeper for me. The color combination is very pretty too, the dark wine with dark blue indigo...

I don't know what's going on with this bra. The gore is too wide for me, and I think the cup is too small. The top part of the lace always wants to flip down, but my nipples are barely in this bra at all. Despite what others have recommended for me, this is not a good fit.
The gore of this bra really hurts! It digs in very painfully. The ribbon trim at the top of the cup makes it so it cuts in there, but the sheer mesh section below it is not filled. I think the 28DD in this same bra has a much better fit, despite the same issue with the gore.
Very pretty bra, though. Just not the right size for me
I liked this bra when i first got it. It fit much better than my previous 30F/ 30FF bras (clearly!)
The band is very loose - i measure 29 inches under bust, and this 28 is way too big, it slides even on the tightest hooks.
The straps are super stretchy - and the clasp moves of its own accord which is not great.
The central gore does not lie flat on me, i think it is because the back is so loose. In addition, i don't think that the cups are deep enough for my boobs, although i do not think that going up a size would fix the problem, i think then it would just gap at the top....
i like it a lot, it is very pretty and luxurious. However, i must say that i am not enamored with the quality.- the elastic on the straps has started to wrinkle after only 1 month of wearing/ washing the bra about 5-6 times.
This bra is what I chose for my first foray into buying online. According to bratabase, the cups would fit while the band would be somewhat loose - and to my surprise, that was pretty much completely accurate. I do have to pull the straps on quite tight and there's a some extra space at the top of the cup on my smaller breast, so perhaps a 28HH might have fit slightly better.
The band felt right on the loosest hook when I first put the bra on, but I had to tighten it to the second one after a few hours - no problems with slipping after that, ...so at least it wasn't obscenely loose, even if this isn't a great sign with a brand new bra.
As for the non-fit related downsides, the bra goes up REALLY high on the sides. I believe I have an older model where the poking-your-pits is particularily bad. I would not wear a Thrill Me on any day where you have to be doing a lot of activity. It is not, however, something you can't live with for a day, as long as you do the right amount of scooping.
Despite all the negativity thus far - I do have to say this bra very quickly became my current favorite. I love the look of it, with and without clothes on top. The rufflyness and seams aren't as bad as they might seem - a tight camisole under a tight jumper and I was wearing a T-shirt bra as far as you could tell. The bra is also quite light in weight and construction for a padded style. Read more 165 more words
This bra is super sexy and I wanted something to give that Marie Antionette cleavage for scoop neck tops. I ordered it in the black/wine and black/silver.
I heard the band runs big in the Showgirl range, so I got a 32. It fit very snug, but still had some stretch. At least I got the band size correct!
The cups.....that's a whole different story. I'm still trying to figure out my size, so I decided to try an H. I read that the cups run small in this style, and boy, no kidding! I need at least a HH or J next time. ... I could barely tuck everything into the cups. If I walked around too much, I'm sure I'd have a nipple fall out!
The shape is very rounded and pushed north. I felt like I had 2 oranges on my chest when I was wearing this bra!
The quality of the materials seems top-notch and the style is just to die for. Unfortunately, this size didn't work for me, but I will definitely be looking for a replacement. The matching shorts make this set a must-have for any large busted woman! Read more 95 more words
This bra (the black with gold) is a bit tighter in the band than my Emily (blush) in the same size. I have only tried one romance and one Emily, so I don't know if it's due to the shape or the colour, since black bras can be a bit tighter. I can comfortable put in on with no bulging or sliding around of my breasts. The band is probably too tight. I can wear it, but for a whole day it would be too tight. A size bigger would definately be too loose though, so I'll wear this with an extender until it stretches. I'm also ...in the process of losing weight, and I think that losing just a few kilos will make the band more comfortable. The center gore is not too high, which I love, since I usually have a problem with it. It doesn't dig in and it sits (very) flat against me. My boobs sit close, but my breastbone doesnt have any tissue or fat on it, so it does press a bit to hard on the bone. This is because the band is a little tight. It doesn't dig in. The wings has an excellent height and don't cut me at the armpit/arm (where the strap is attached) as many bras do. It's lower than the Emily which do cut me there (in case you have the Emily and you're looking to buy the romance). When I lie down on my back the boobs do escape some towards the armpit, but generally they actually stay in place mostly. I think it's true to size. The 32 band is a little too tight and I measure 33", so that seems reasonable. The cups don't cut in and they are not too deep and not too shallow. My bigger boob is slightly more pointy than my smaller, but it's barely noticeable, and I think it's due to the cup size being barely big enough of my bigger boob. A cup size bigger would be too big though. A too small cup can make the breasts look pointy in the Curvy Kate. I really really don't like the pointy shape at all, but the slight pointy-ness is acceptable and will probably change when the bra has been washed a few times and most likely also with future weightloss. This bra could possibly be my most favourite of all the Curvy Kate bras I own. I absolutely love it and will be ordering it in other colours as well. When I first saw it on brastop.com I was unsure about it because it did not look very attractive and the colour seemed dull, but I bought it anyway because it was on a super sale price. I'm glad I did.
First of all, the colour is not like the picture on the web site at all. It's far more deep and rich. The details on the bra are stunning and the pattern is just lovely. It's ...a very elegant and functional bra. It's also very comfortable and very supportive. I love the fact that CK have three hooks for the G cups. The angel fits true to size and I find that the thick straps help with the support. One thing I should mention is that it does come high under the arms but the wire does not dig in. I am a petite frame and often have issues with bras that are not made for shorter women but the Angel fits perfectly and I did not experience any wire digging at all. Despite the attention to detail and all the embroidery on the bra, the seams are not visible under shirts and there is no cutting into the breast tissue on top. The cups lay flat against my skin and look fabulous. One thing to note is that if you are full on top then the ribbon detailing on the top of the cup might feel tighter or might dig in to the breast tissue. Due to this I'd say that the Angel is more suitable for women with soft or bottom heavy breasts.
I highly recommend this bra. I would even buy it at full price if it wasn't on sale. Read more 206 more words
Prior to discovering the Thrill Me line of bras I never owned any "pretty" bras. I had white, black and beige, all ill fitting, all resembling something my great grandmother would wear. I was so happy when I found these bras that I bought them in different colours when they went on sale. The Thrill Me is a great bedroom bra. It won't give the same sturdy support from an everyday bra but it makes up for it by offering a stunning view of the breasts as if they are served on a platter - think possibly the Marie Antoinette neckline.
As for fit, in my case, I think ...the Thrill Me fit in my usual size of 30G. I am not full on top and have soft bottom heavy breasts, which is why my usual size fit so well. However, if you are full on top, then I would recommend going up in cup size or there might be some spilling. The band is quite stretchy, so if you intend to use this bra for everyday wear then you might want to go down a band size. In my case, I knew I'd be wearing it in a more comfortable setting so I did not require it to be super tight. Hence, I was fine with a stretchy 30 band. It's an extremely comfortable bra. The material feels soft and luxurious and the ruffles take it up a notch. The straps are fully adjustable and quite stretchy which is what makes them super comfy.
Thrill Me comes in a variety of stunning colours. If I made a 6 figure income I would be buying every colour it came in, but I don't make that much so I snatch them up when they're on for a bargain. I've experienced wearing this bra with different outfits. It's kind of naughty to know you're wearing it under clothes while you're at work! But it will show under some clothes. It's not suitable under t-shirts and thin blouses, but it does not show under sweaters or blazers. All in all, I'd say I love this bra and would definitely recommend it if nothing other than to spice up your lingerie drawer.
Oh and girls, there's no sense in buying the bra if you're not going to buy the matching underwear. Really, it's the set that makes the whole thing work together. This set will make you feel beautiful especially on days when you don't feel it much. Read more 303 more words
I am somewhere between a 30E and a 30F (29.5" band measurement, 36" bust standing, 37" bent over), depending on the bra.
Some people have mentioned that this bra fits fairly true-to-size (whatever that means! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />) so I opted to go with a 30F. It fit my bigger breast pretty well, but as you can see from my photos, the smaller side wasn't filling the cup at all.
Also, the bra had kind of a weird shape -- potentially from the shipping process -- being almost flattened on the sides and wider in the center, if that makes sense. Not sure if this is ...how this style is meant to be, since I do not have a Tempt Me or Tease Me bra to compare.
While I had no issues with the bra band riding up (I usually don't, honestly), the band is definitely generous and stretchy. I could easily have gone down to a 28" band.
The straps are also very stretchy. I felt like I was tightening them to half or more to get support from them -- something I don't normally encounter from bras.
Overall, not a bad bra if you can fit into it. It's certainly gorgeous, and I had no issues with the underwire, but it just doesn't suit my bust shape very well. Read more 115 more words
I know this doesn't technically fit me, but I deliberately ordered a size small because I have issue when I actually do fit, the cup fits weird, whereas when it's a size small, the shape is much better. In that respect, I'm taking the whole "bedroom bra" thing to heart. But honestly, it actually fits better than any of the larger sizes, because the gaping at the top is weird. I don't get any quad-boob, just a small amount of escaped "arm pit fat."
Now that I've explained my decision, on to the good stuff! The shape I get in this is so nice and ...round. Because the bra is too small, the frills on the top of the cup actually lay flat on my breast tissue, but it doesn't cut it.
The blue is a bit of a tacky color, but it's fun and the bra itself is well made, though sometimes it creaks. The band is really loose for a 28, but that's to be expected in Showgirl ranges, so I'm not exactly surprised. I think this would fit someone who measures about a 31" around the underbust best.
The materials are really comfortable, and I don't get any weird uncomfortable digging. The hooks in the back are better than what I usually expect with Curvy Kate and Flirtelle (I feel like this is their downfall). Because I'm smack dab in between a 28 band and a 30 band, usually, the hooks on 28 bands get uncomfortable and I have too, much sooner than I'd like, go on to the second set of hooks so that the hooks don't dig into my back too much and I have fabric between the hooks and my skin.
This bra fit me the best out of all the Curvy Kate's I tried, but it's still a no go. Underwire goes too wide on the side, gaping on top of cup. I really wish Curvy Kate made 28C's!
The cups are too shallow and wide. As a result, my breasts sit sideways rather than forwards, and the cups do not come up high enough. Apparently most Curvy Kate bras have cups like this, so I don't think I'm going to get along with this brand. It is a really pretty bra though.
I made a mistake when ordering this and I thought I was ordering a G cup instead of an FF, as it is now it's a good 2 cups too small maybe a bit more. However it's stupidly comfy, no center gore to worry about digging in and I kind of like the look it gives my breasts under a shirt. I think I have found the style of bra that I like, now I just need to order it in a larger size but this one will do for now.
The lace work on this does show through a tight shirt but it's really quite lovely and detailed, it reminds me of a delicate Victorian lace. The cups are also extremely soft.
This is a beautiful bra! The mesh is quite pretty and it's well constructed. I was sad that it didn't fit, the side underwire cut into me enough that it hurt for awhile after I took it off and the center gore I could fit a thumb under (top down) with wiggle room. The top of the cup was almost low enough that my areolas were barely covered.
This is a nice bra and fits perfectly in this size, but it's just not for me. The bottom half of the cup is lined while the top is not, but is restricted by the ribbon on top. This results in an odd looking bulge in the unlined section. I wouldn't recommend it for full on top boobs as the ribbon would almost certainly cut in. The shape is also quite natural looking, whereas I prefer something more rounded. Like all unpadded CKs I've tried, the band is much firmer than the Showgirls - i.e. true to size. A good everyday bra, but I just prefer padded.
I could wear this bra all day! The wire sits flat and secure around my rib cage with nothing digging in. There is no spillage if I bend over, and it has a little bit of a give so I don't feel constricted.
The stitching on the cups can stand out against thin t-shirts and the white detailing makes it imperfect for white shirts, but a thin tank top underneath can solve both problems.
This bra is not a great fit on me except for the fact that it gives a really perky shape. it's a gorgeous colour and very pretty lace and mesh fabric. The cups wrinkle almost everywhere without being particularly baggy (it just seems to pull?). It is most noticeable across the top (I think I have bottom heavy/outer side heavy boobs) and then there is some wrinkling underneath near the under wire too. It doesn't really affect the prettiness of the bra and as I don't wear unpadded or moulded bras under tight tops I don't think it really affects it's wearability. The central gore wires dig in after a few hours wear but it isn't as bad a some. The briefs are very nice and the set looks good so I recommend a fitting as if it did fit it would be gorgeous and probably an addictive style.
