FOB/Projected shape. Outside top of cups are baggy, outside bottom near wire has wrinkles. Cups/gore feels like it's a little too tall for my chest. Shape does not look flattering to me, especially under a top.
Fit the best of the three sizes I tried in the Matilda. I am full on bottom and projected. I believe this one did not have enough projection for me, but it was close. There was a tiny bit of wrinkling on the top mesh part of the cup, which is a common problem for me. There was also a little wrinkling in the bottom of the cup, which the Internet leads me to believe is because I need more projection in the shape. I did not find the overall shape very flattering. I know it's unlined and meant to be more natural, but I felt very dowdy and flat-chested when I put a shirt on over it. The appearance of the bra itself is very cute, I loved the color and the little details but the shape is just not right for me.
Not a great fit for me. Too much bra for my petite frame. Most painful of all was the extreme pressure the tips of the gore placed on my sternum, which actually was on some breast tissue when I looked closer. I was bruised and sore for days and simply cannot wear this bra. At first I thought it fit because the band felt snug and supportive, but I realized the cups were a little big with wrinkling that worsened through the day. Wires actually extended far enough to fully encapsulate my breast tissue, which was pretty awesome. I also didn't like how the top lace part ...doesn't have any real stretch to it so it's not very forgiving for variations in fullness between my left and right breast and monthly size fluctuations.
Pros: *High quality *Pretty design *The denim color has a nice deep tone without being too bright or too dark *Pretty soft and silky materials-nothing felt scratchy *Wires were actually wide enough to reach my entire breast tissue that stretches back under the back side of my armpit *No wire poking my armpit *Straps were fully adjustable *Straps stayed in place (the strap itself has ridges to discourage sliding) *It lifted my breasts front and center away from under my armpits
Cons *Gore painfully tilted inward *Not enough padding at gore wire tips *The cups came up so high on my chest it felt like I was being strangled and like it would show under most necklines *For me cups were filled at bottom but still not filled on top
My shape: Wide root, Tall root, Pendulous, Immediate projection, Center full, Close set, Even fullness Read more 157 more words
Was my favorite of the Elomis I tried but still not the right fit for me.
Pros: *Smooth fabric *Stretch lace was forgiving for one breast being slightly larger *Stretch lace placement of being on the inner cup was ideal for my center full breasts *Low gore felt less pokey than higher gore styles on my close-set breasts *Band felt firm but comfy with the felted fabric along the top and bottom *Third hook added extra support *My underarm was NOT jabbed- a common problem for me ****The shaping was PHENOMENAL-taking my breast tissue from sliding under my arms to gathering it front and center- I felt the difference in not having to swoop my arm ...AROUND breast tissue when raising my arms in front of me; the firm side support felt wonderful and not restrictive at all- this is probably my favorite feature of this bra and why I am so disappointed I can't seem to get the right fit in it!***
Cons *Why the ugly geometric print on the cups? *Underwires slipped down and left marks on my ribs *Could use more padding on the gore wires Read more 69 more words
This bra is my abrathatfits! Finally, a bra that is comfortable to wear. I realised a little belatedly that I've been fitting my bras to my smaller breast, and that is why they've been so uncomfortable...they've been too small!
This bra has wonderful forward projection, and relatively narrow wires for Elomi. I am not a huge fan of the patterns offered with the Morgan if I'm honest, and I also don't find it to be the most sexy bra. However, the fit of this bra on me is so wonderful I actually like the look of it better then far more sexy looking bras I've ...tried on which just haven't fit well at all.
The center gore is higher then average I would say, which works well for my relatively tall roots, but might be an issue for you if you are short rooted. The wires themselves feel a bit softer then normal, but this does have its upside since they don't dig painfully into my stomach when I sit down/slouch a bit đ .
For me personally, the stretch lace at the top of the cups is where this bra shines. Firstly, the lace is very elastic, much more so then the supposed "stretch lace" on the panache envy. Because of this, even though the cup is slight too large on my smaller breast, the stretch lace sorta just stays mostly unstretched but doesn't wrinkle/gape. The top of the cup is also a bit more closed off then other balcony styled bras, which for my more pendulous and soft breasts I prefer.
Finally, sizing wise I would say I'd likely wear the same size in the Elomi Matilda, they have similar bands and their cups also both fit a bit smaller then other Elomi models I've tried. Please note that this bra is much more projected then the Matilda, and has a much higher center gore as well. The band size is looser then the Elomi Kim, but they are similar in cup sizes (although I've heard Kim sometimes runs a bit larger in the cup). I would say if you wear the Kim, maybe try sister sizing one band size down in the Morgan. Read more 269 more words
This review is for the Elomi Kim Plunge bra in 34GG. My ABTF size is 32G/GG UK (or more) depending on projection. This size was recommended to me by Breakout Bras.
Band: * Measured from 29 to 32 before wires distorted.
Wires: * Very firm.
Cups: * Three-piece cups plus side support. Low centre front gives a plunge without push up
Fabric: * Comfortable.
About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, functionally even to full on bottom, short roots, relatively soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.
FIT
* I hooked this on the middle hook. Not very surprising considering it's a 34 and I'm a 32. I was surprised ...that at 31 inches the wires started to distort when measuring. * The gore tacked HARD; it felt like there was a piece of cardboard keeping everything aligned. Not a love match. But it was a low gore which I liked. * The cups were very tall for me and I didn't fill the tops. The wires are not narrow enough for me at all and it does not have enough immediate projection for me. I didn't get the roundness suggested by their website description and pictures so this isn't a match for me at any size. https://www.elomilingerie.com/row/en/lingerie/bras/plunge-bras/kim-uw-plunge-bra---stretch/p/el4340cal/ * The straps are long enough. * The sides are a comfortable height for me.
OVERALL IMPRESSION * I didn't find a match here at all. Read more 120 more words
This Raspberry Caitlyn was purchased in the summer of 2014. Until I discovered Bratabase and Bravissimo, I had come to the conclusion that the Caitlyn was the only bra I could comfortably wear. The Caitlyn's would not last long for me as they would stretch out and become unwearable after a year of use. They were certainly a significant upgrade on the Elila 1305s I wore for the previous 5-10 years but both are now a distant memory. The wires on this Raspberry Caitlyn are almost 2 inches longer than any of my wellfitting Alana's and combined with the extra 2-4 inches of band length, the wires end ...way too far back. I thought about returning the Raspberry bra but convinced myself not to, thinking I will just grow into it. I also found this bra to give me the most east/west look I have ever had. As I look back over time, I realize how misguided I was thinking this was my size. This Raspberry Caitlyn is the only bra I have ever seen/owned with a label that included size 95P.
Winter 2020-2021 A fellow bratabaser started up an Elomi based Chat adventure and it made me wonder how the Caitlyn's I still have fit. It had been over 4 years since I last wore either of my 2 remaining Caitlyn's but I still remember how it looked and felt. At least, I thought I did. I was quite horrified by what I saw in the mirror. For starters, the apex seemed to be beyond my arms! Ok, maybe they were where my arms are but still, this was beyond an east-west look. The wings/band looked hideous to me. I think this was a result of my being so accustomed to the bands on all of my Bravissimo bras. The word that comes to mind is matronly but that doesn't quite the look to me. The worst thing I saw in the mirror though was how high up the cups pointed. I do not recall having this look when the Caitlyn was in regular use. This wasn't just a slight bit of upward pointing. I'm pretty sure that if I went out in public with this bra on, people would look at me strangely and wonder what is wrong with me and my bra. I could not take this bra off fast enough and will never wear this bra again. Read more 287 more words
It's been close to 2 years since I last wore this Camelia and since I was staying home today I thought wearing this around the house would be ok. WRONG!!! The band was so loose and offered next to no support while the wires on the right side were stabbing me so much.
I have lost weight since I last wore my Caitlyns regularly, which is like six years ago or more. IIRC, I am now about 10 pounds lighter now than I was then and realizing this really made my day Unfortunately, it is time to permanently retire this Caitlyn,

I have now tried this bra in 36J, 34JJ - Elomi » Morgan Banded Bra (4110) , and 36HH - Elomi » Morgan Banded Bra (4110) . I normally wear a 36HH or 36J, but the band seems to stretch quickly. The 34JJ is probably the best fit, even though it fits like a very snug 36âthe 36 bands fit more like snug 38s and ride up slightly even on the tightest band. The 36HH is a little too small in the cups, but the 36J is too big in the cups, while the 34JJ is pretty close to perfect. All of them do sit pretty close to my IMF, are about perfect in terms of width, and almost (but not quite) accommodate my massive immediate projection needs. The gore on the 36J and 36HH are too wide, while the 34JJ is about perfect. The 36 band bras just don't ever quite fit right, if you know what I meanâthe 34JJ isn't quite perfect, but it *feels* just about right.
Kim is another Elomi plunge style, but unlike the Matilda (which seems to spread the breasts out horizontally), it pushes the breasts forward more. The cups are also farther apart than Matilda. Matilda has been a pretty good fit for me, and Kim usually fits great as well, but it does seem to depend on my cycle. Iâve noticed that Kim doesnât quite have enough inner room for closer-set breasts either (probably because itâs wider-set). Unfortunately by the end of the day, it rides down ever-so-slightly and the top of my left breast gets quadding. Overall, itâs really comfortable, and I actually really like how it gives me ...that âshelfâ look, I just wish it fit better in the center and top. Iâve tried 34J and the cup didnât seem much different than the 34HH, but the wires were too wide and caused wrinkling.
UPDATE: Thanks to a friendly Bratabase user who suggested removing the elastic on the top of the cups, the bra now fits better than ever! No more quad boob! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 70 more words

This bra's measurements have been altered
Removed elastic along the top of the cup. Measurements reflect the cups WITH the elastic still attached.
I remember this one being too small in the cups by far. The gore floated majorly. Band was comfortable, and honestly the whole bra was comfortable but it was a terrible fit.
I tried Cate in many other sizes (34H, 34HH, and 34J) by never found a good fit. The gore was too tall and wide for me in this model.
*I tried the Morgan in a 34HH and a 34J with Amazon Prime Wardrobe*
The 34HH didnât fit right. The wires and everything were okay, possibly borderline too wide. The gore didnât tack. The cups werenât deep enough. The best part about it was that it has that wonderful quality Elomi material, but thatâs pretty much where it stops.
Morgan is a pretty bra and I hear it works for a lot of women, but it definitely didnât work out for me.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. I have also tried this bra in several sizes and none worked. The wires are rather flexible therefore tend to stretch further back which makes the front cup fit more shallow.
I tried this bra in the 34HH as well and I also had the gore not tacking, which is a first in Elomi. At first I thought it was a great alternative to the Elomi Kim, but I agree the cups seem shallower and maybe the wires are too flexible.
*I tried the Morgan in a 34HH and a 34J with Amazon Prime Wardrobe*
The 34J was awful all around...wires were too wide, so it was baggy on the sides. Not enough projection, so the bottom had wrinkles. The only good part was the gore tacked, which is hard for me in Elomi bras with tall gores. Itâs actually virtually impossible, so this was pretty impressive. It was just too massive. I canât emphasize enough about the wires...JEEZ THEY WERE SO FREAKING WIDE. Looking at the pictures, so can definitely see it.
I was hoping the Morgan would work for me so I could buy a Mariella...but NOPE. Womp womp.
I keep looking at Elomis and realizing they just wont fit a small frame like mine. Who has boob at the back of their underarm?
The Elomi full cups like Morgan and Mariella - have the pudding wires, these are very soft easily stretching wires. So unless you really need very wide wires or just prefer soft wires to the harder ones - it won't work. I also tried sizing up to get more room but ended up with wrinkling on the side.
The plunges : Matilda, Charley and Lucie have the new more sturdy wires.
alisa I love how you called them pudding wires! đ They are very soft and pliable compared to the Matilda/Charley/Lucie (which all work for me pretty well, except Charley). Iâll definitely keep that in mind!
pretty_promise I thought the term fits :D Matilda and Lucie are my faves. Charley is good too but more shallow in cup compared to the 2 above.
This was the first of 3 sports bras that I tried on today. Of the 3, this one is the best fit and I would probably buy it. In fact, I probably will, just to have a sport bra.
This is not the kind I would typically go for â Iâm not a big fan of the âencapsulationâ-type sports bra, I much prefer the compression types, although if you see my other reviews, youâll know that they just donât work for me.
This Elomi Energise is an unlined, underwired sports bra. Itâs comfortable and light. It isnât probably the best for HIIT workouts or running because it does not contain the bounce as well as I would have hoped. I get a soft tack in the gore. Itâs a really cute pattern as well!
I really prefer encapsulation, compression makes my boobs ache! But it's harder to get good bounce control without it...
I mean, fortunately I donât do anything too intense for exercise so this would work, but Iâm definitely more used to the uniboob compression-type sports bras that donât even fit me lol.
I just got off of a chat with Bravissimo and the rep said the Gemma is based on Melrose. I have not yet owned a Melrose but that certainly surprised me.
Ooops, the previous comment is for the wrong adventure...sorry!
I'm not the biggest fan of the pattern, but it was comfy enough at first that I went ahead and bought it anyways. Unfortunately after wearing it for a few hours the underwires digging into my ribs had become unbearable, the cups are too shallow for me. The fabric and lace are both nice and soft, it'd be super comfy to wear if I were the right shape for it.
What I like about this bra: -itâs bandless, so it (for some reason) seems to stay in my IMF better -the material is heavier, so it shapes my breasts better -the stretch lace on top hugs the top, but doesnât cut in like some other Elomi bras with stretch lace
The (unfortunate) things I DONâT like about this bra: -the gore doesnât tack, it floats or sometimes flips and rests on the bigger side -sometimes I get weird gaping around the arm holes, kinda by my armpits -the depth...you can tell in a profile view that it is definitely not deep enough for me at the apex so it kinda just squashes them flat -the material ...wrinkles on the bottom around the wire, not because itâs a poor fit in that aspect but because it doesnât stretch like mesh material does, so the way it is sewn makes the wrinkles (if that makes sense?)
I tried this in a 34J as well, and I was swimming in the cups, so I know a bigger size wonât fix my issues. This bra and itâs counterpart (the Dune colorway) are still heavy in my rotation, but if and when I find other bras that fit better, theyâll be next in line for retirement. Iâve noticed that the nude colorway (Dune) fits way worse than the black and I honestly have no idea why.
Anyway. This bra works for me, but obviously isnât a âperfectâ fit by any means. Read more 129 more words
I have narrow roots and even, projected, soft, saggy breasts which are close-set with lots of centre fullness. One issue I always have with Elomi bras is the "flattening" that happens around the gore and cleavage - there is always some centre tissue being cut into by the bra edge (quadboob). I read that the Morgan has narrower wires than most Elomi bras, so I ordered a cup size up to see if there would be more room to accommodate my centre fullness without wider wires. Unfortunately this bra still cuts in near the gore, and going up in cup size just seems to have made the bra taller, which I don't really need. Most Elomi bras I've tried are too wide for me, and although this style seems to have narrower wires, it still doesn't work for me, the wires feel too high under my arms. It's too bad since I like the colorway and print of this style.
Elomi Morgan is a full cup bras with the same cut as Elomi Cate, but it has a stretchy lace top. I tried this bra in the past in 32J but it was slightly small. Since I went up 1 cup size recently. I decided to give it chance again in 32JJ.
While the bra fits me size-wise and I have no quadboob or overspill - it is not the right construction for my boobs. The wires are too wide and I get wrinkling on the sides. The support is better than on the 34HH - Elomi » Lydia Bandless Bra (EL4390) which I think is because this bra has a full band for support. The bra is made of nice soft materials and feels high quality. I don't think that it's the best cut for by full on top shape with rather narrow roots. The bra seems to be best suited for a more wider full on bottom shape.
The Lydia bra is a bandless style designed for a petite silhouette and fuller bust with shorter wires and centre pull straps for narrow shoulders. So it says on Elomis website. While I'm not petite, I do have a fuller bust and narrow shoulders, so I was curious to try this new style.
My shape: tall, narrow to average wide roots, full on top, projected, center heavy
The bra is a basic, everyday style but I love that they added the cut out detail and the charm at the gore to style it up. It looks and feels high quality.
While my usual size is 32J/JJ in Elomi, I ...couldn't find this style on my online retailer in any 32 bands so I went with the sister size. Apparently this bra comes in 32 bands which I learned here.
The 34HH is a bit large for me in band but it's true to size. The cups are rather deep and wide. They are not super tall like other Elomi styles (Full cups ) but still I wouldn't call them short. The straps are more centred which is nice if you have sloping shoulders like me. The top of the cup features stretchy lace but it is lined with mesh. The wires are more soft and they stretch with wear. They are too wide and soft for me and there is empty fabric on the sides. The cup edge does cut in a bit, but I would not try a size up as the bra is already too wide in this size.
I think in general this bra is a big shape mismatch and would be better for someone with a more full on bottom shape. I don't get much uplift either and my boobs are kinda pushed down by the top section. It's similar in look on me like Bravissimo Melrose (another fot-unfriendly bra) or Elomi Caitlyn. While I know most Elomi bras are made for a more fob shape - I think their banded plunges like Matilda and Charley can work if you find the right size (for me it means sizing up and tighten the band and straps more) but the Elomi full cups / bandless bras are too much of a shape mismatch for my shape. I see what you mean about the cup construction, but I also notice those wires are sooo mind-blowingly wide on you! Do you think this may contribute to the shape mismatch? As someone who is very center full, I find that if too much of the underwire is wrapping round the side of my body, it affects the orientation of the cup but in a design with pretty full coverage it also does strange things to the shape of the cup since it does not allow the wire to brace itself against the front of my body to give a better boost from below, if that makes sense.
wendybien Yes I understand what you mean. Since this bra has the older more flexible Elomi wires the shape of the cup gets changed once the bra is on wires get wider and wrap around my body. I even think the bra would fit if the wires were narrower. I get slight overspill but cup depth is 38cm which is just what I need. So there is a lot of room on the side unused but the front center part is "shallowed" (is this a word). While I can make some wider wired bras "work" for me - this style is just impossible. I think to make it work, it would need more stable wires that don't distort too much and be more open on top.
yes that makes sense alisa ... ah those older-generation flexible wires that wrap around to the back of beyond... the side photos actually took me right back to every full bust blogger's pics of Eveden bras circa 2014...
wendybien Newer elomi styles got better like the Plunge cut Matilda and Charley - the wires are still wide but much more sturdy and distort less with wear. Freya has not changed their design everything still looks like back in dark ages of bra fitting. Fantasie has improved a little bit as newer side support bras are a bit less wide. That's also why back in the day I sticked to Panache, their wires were wide too but less flexible.
oh yes I am always so impressed with the Elomis designed in the past 4 years or so!
This is a very comfortable and versatile bra. It makes for a good round shape, although doesn't provide a ton of lift unless you hook the J-hook. The wires are nice and wide and there is a decent amount of projection at the wire but is a bit closed at the top. The mesh design makes this very cool in summer and a relatively smooth look under most clothes.
This bra looks very cute. It's hot pink floral pattern, it's printed and it has a very nice satin, silky feel. The lace top is stretchy.
It has very wide wires but that's as expected for Elomi.
The gore is nice, for me personally it could still be slightly lower or narrower, either or, to be a great fit, but I manage.
The shape of this is quite projected, but it's not a great shape for me because I do get wrinkles in the bottom of the cup as well as empty space on the sides because of the wires.
I originally wrote a review that was useless and I've now ...worn this bra many times since so I've got a better understanding and feel for the bra.
The cut is similar to Charley, which I also own in the same size, but this one is more projected than Charley.
It's decently comfortable, I've certainly had some more comfortable bras but this one is up there pretty high. I think that's because of the fabric which is very nice.
Lift wise it's not amazing but I've adjusted the straps a little tighter and it gives a better lift. But because it's a bit of a shape mismatch for me it's never gonna give me the lift I need. I think the bra needs more immediate projection. (And narrower wires of course https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />) Read more 125 more words
