The wire sometimes digs into my ribcage and rubs under my armpit. Sometimes it's OK if I push the underwires father back under my arms. Gaps a bit at the top of the cup because I've lost a little weight since I bought it. Fits flat on the sternum, which I like. Lots of support. Pretty
This bra fits like a dream. I got it in another color (Black) and I'm so glad I found it. I thought the 36GG fit me the best, but the band on that is a bit too loose. It fits great when I'm on my cycle though, so that's nice (I was searching during my bloat period without realizing it, lul), but for the rest of the month, this is my everyday bra. My first test drive was a day at Universal Hollywood. It was a long day, on and off heat. The bra was comfortable the whole time. It's not the most breathable under super heat, but ...it will serve me well indoors and the short bits I'm outside. This is a copy pasta of the review for the other color of this same bra, since it fits exactly the same, but I want to post both of them. The pink one is so pretty. Oh man. I almost didn't measure this bra, but I haven't worn it outside of trying it on, so I thought the measurements were still valuable. They are slightly different than my other 34H Elomi Kim (black) that I measured. It might be due to the limited wear. Read more 96 more words
The cups on this are much too short compared to any other 34G I've tried. It cuts hard across the breast tissue. It seems to be for much more shallow breasts? Or perhaps just shorter vertical roots? Not sure. I just know it's not for me at all. The fabric is also super itchy. I would not wear this as an every day bra, even if it did fit. :/ The straps have a j-hook option, but the straps don't seem like they could be long enough to comfortably use. Now that I think about it, this bra might be made for more petite frames with shorter torsos. Hope that helps!
This bra fits so much better than the 42G I tried at first. It looks great under dark, thicker clothing, but use is pretty limited because of the colors. I am having a bit of an issue with the fabric of the cups coming up into my armpit when I am slouching, so I guess I'll just have to fix my posture!
I measure a 42G, but I had to size down to a 40GG to get a better fit. The band was sliding up on me every time I moved my arms, but it was really comfortable!
Shockingly good fit on first glance. I bought it used on eBay in a fit of desperation after weight gain when I couldn't justify attempting to resize into Comexim. Sure, the wires are wider and the cup covers more of my chest, but it seems to have sufficient immediate projection without cutting in at the center. I'm encouraged enough to try other Elomi styles. Update 12/2018: Weight loss/shape change & this is way too big in the band now; it was probably a generous 34 anyway.
Pretty full cup bra with cup bottoms in a satiny fabric and cup tops in mesh. The straps are fairly centered on the cups, which works better with my shape. There are 3 hooks per row on the back, which makes this bra feel sturdier than its 2-hook counterparts. Overall, this bra is quite comfortable for me; I fill the cups well and the gore tacks. My only issue with is is that the elastic at the bottom of the band tends to roll up part way through the day, which becomes painful overtime. I have found that shortening the straps helps with this issue, probably since the bra stays in my IMF better when the straps are shorter. Overall, a dependable everyday bra.
I ordered the 34G and 34GG in this bra at the same time, hoping one of them would fit, but to no avail. The gore on this bra is very low and the cups too shallow for me. The gore tacks but I am getting "but crack cleavage" above it. Also, the 4 part cups are not deep enough and make my breasts look sort of square. The mesh-like fabric is too rough for my taste and uncomfortable. Between the 34G and the 34GG, I preferred the 34GG since it has 3 hooks per row and thus feels sturdier. The 34G only has 2 hooks per row. I will be returning this bra as it definitely doesn't fit in the cups, even though the band is comfortable.
Ideally, I'd get this in a 34F because the band is pretty stretchy - now it fits on the tightest hook. Sadly, I can't find that on the internet anywhere. Straps too short to use with J-hook. Cups will fill better once I widen the wire a little bit. Eventually I will have to take in the sides of the band. Wires slip down a little bit below the IMF.
I don't think there's enough initial projection for me.
This is a bra that is so incredibly firm and supportive. I do not move a single inch when wearing this while running or exercising. It's so firm that I have a hard time getting my hand inside of it to scoop and swoop, and I feel the wire almost bruising my left rib. It has a weird seam going across the middle of the cup that kind of folds in at the apex, so it looks almost as if you have an inverted nipple of sorts. If I could get rid of the wrinkles at the apex, this bra would be almost everything.
The Great Amazon Prime Wardrobe Try-On, Part 4! My shape: projected, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, FOB Fit: Elomi is out of my size range, but I really wanted to try their sports bra anyways. As I figured, the cups are too large on me, and it makes me sad because I really love the looks and feel of this bra. It's silky smooth, firm band, and cute colors! I guess I'm stuck with my Panache Sports bras. This has a J-hook clip, so you can make it a racerback style bra if you prefer that.
The Great Amazon Prime Wardrobe Try-On, Pt 2! My shape: FOB, narrow roots/shoulders, soft tissue, 32G (though I'm thinking maybe more 30G since a lot of these 32 bands are too stretchy for me!) Fit: This is laughably too big for me. I'm super disappointed, because I have read so many rave reviews for this brand, and this style in particular! If they made smaller cup sizes, I would be in better shape. Appearance: I love the darker beige color of this bra. The fabric isn't that soft, though; the cups are made of a stiff lace.
This is a beautiful bra and I wish it worked for me. The cup is quite shallow - probably close to a half a cup size different than I expected. I wore it for maybe half an hour while getting ready for work the other morning before giving in to the inevitable and switching it out for something different.
I have had this bra for a few months now and I've found that I love the fit except its seems the cups have stretched out on the outside. By that I mean that there are noticeable gaps on the outside of my breasts. This is such huge let down because everything else is as close as I'll ever find. I do find that it comes up higher under my breast than I'm used to, so I often want to pull it down.
I actually looks too wide? Idk, thats why I havent tried many elomi
I think it's the elastic they sew on the edges. Since it has a loose lace overlay on the back, the elastic isn't stretched much, meaning it doesn't dig in/gets loose. My Tia is the same way. However, it's my best fit and best shape so I'm living with it as it doesn't affect the support really.
A bonus is it doesn't cut into my pecs right there though!
This would be perfect for me as my breast tissue protests material tugging/straining across the upper-outer quadrant.
My shape is FoB, nothing on top, wide short-ish roots. I sized down because I knew filling out the top of the cup would be a problem in my regular size. It's a problem in this size as well, but it's close. I hadn't tried Elomi before and found a somewhat decent price so I decided to give it a shot. I found the style to be beautiful. The fan-shape pattern of the lace is lovely with the peek through mesh edge at the top of the cup. The material is very stiff but will probably soften with washing. Being a full cup, it has too much ...empty space at the top for me. Adjusting the straps helped a little but not enough. The bottom could use more projection. I've found few bras that have enough space at the wire. I wish I could have sized down in the band. I was easily on the tightest hook. I don't know if Elomi typically runs large in the band but this 32 had a stretched measurement of 34. I tend to wear Curvy Kate balconettes and this had a somewhat matronly feel to me.
ETA: when I first tried this on I didn't use the J-Hook on the straps, which turn it into a racerback. What a game changer! It pulled the loose upper portion of the cup taut, changing the fit and appearance completely. The matronly look is gone, and now I'm trying to decide whether to keep it. The J-Hook makes it feel tighter, even with the loose band. Read more 155 more words
I love the look and fit of this bra, it’s sexy and gives and amazingly rounded shape for an unpadded bra. Elomi fits my shape perfectly.. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bra fit so well on the bust.. however when I tightened the shoulder straps the back started to ride up a bit.. maybe I need a bigger back size too? Underneath clothes it looked wonderfully rounded but just doesn’t hoik them up high enough.. no matter how I tightened the straps.. and I can’t wear it under my coat, when I zipped up over it my boobs were totally crushed.. I’ve never had that happen before :/ I think I’ve gotten too used to padded bras.. anyway super comfy and sexy so I think I may purchase this bra in the future but I don’t think I’d wear it out until summer.. either way I’m keen to try more elomi bras now, they feel made for my shape <3
As far as I understand it, the back riding up means the band is too big. What happens if you try a band size down/cup size up?
so dont tighten the straps so much?
but yeah, not sure why you think a larger band would be LESS likely to ride up?
Oh is that why.. I’ll try a smaller back bigger cup next time then.. but I found it quite difficult to do up as it was.. strange :/ dbmamaz i like tightening the straps because o prefer my boobs sit higher up.. it makes me feel sad to see them low lol
If the band is sitting at the same place in the back as the front you're going to get a lot more lift. I found the band to be pretty firm but comfortable in this bra so sizing down in the band and up in the cup might feel better!
See my review of 40JJ - Elomi » Tia Bandless Bra (4280). This is a more beautiful color and a better fit. In fact, it fits so well by itself I don't think I have to do any alterations at all, except perhaps take in the cup slightly under the arm where it gaps. The wires fit well, the cups fit, band fits. All in all a really lovely bra. I will rebuy it when I have more money.
My daughter and I have matching swimsuits! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It's a beautiful print and the fit is pretty good for her. Just a bit of side room I'm going to take in.
Thanks for the review. Any chance you will ad measurements?
