Thank you so much!!! It's just so comfortable too.
My 4th Rita. I keep buying them as I get bigger, but sadly the scaling makes this one difficult to wear as the wires are so huge. Today's Elomis have much smaller wires. I want to modify this one to work better for me but I will have to experiment. If I could get this bra in fuschia again I would be so happy.
Edit: Alterations
Alterations on this bra were actually quite simple. First, I lowered the gore by cutting it down to the sheer material on the gore. This is actually a perfect gore height for me. I was considering sewing the elastic ... back to the gore and creating a fold in the sheer fabric but I worried it would make the bra too closed and cause quadding. Instead I cut the sheet fabric and elastic off at the scalloped satin edge of the cup. Then I put in new wires (Panache 30HH from some bra, I'm not sure which now) and folded the gore over and sewed to create an overlapping, narrowed gore. The straps were really long, and I had a weird triangular piece at the strap that was once attached to the sheer material so I cut the sidebar down to close to where it attaches to the cup and re-attached the straps there.
I really love the result. The cups are still too wide, but the band fits better, the gore tacks, the cups are slightly too closed at the center but fine everywhere else. The cups are the right height for me. The shape is nice and round and look great under clothes, even knits. Now I just want to find a good gorenament that will cover the surgery lines there.

I feel opposite about "huge" wires. I need every millimeter of them, especially width. 😀 Love the Caitlyn/Cate/Rita styles.
dfe98we I have a bunch of really big and tall wires I can send you if you want to replace any in your bras! Just let me know the minimum width and I'll send you loads of them!
cupandahalf , that is kind of you, but I am not much for sewing and altering. :\
No worries, I'd just like to get them out of the house, lol.
Technically this swimsuit is two cup sizes too small. With Panache swimsuits I prefer this as they are stretchy and unlined. However Elomi swim is lined! I will say the construction is high quality. The straps are so comfortable compared to Panache and Freya.
The gore does not tack. This is due to cup depth at the apex not being sufficient. Because it's a swimsuit this doesn't bother me. The only problem is if water goes down it it can pull the gore down a bit which is uncomfortable. I might replace the wires to see if it helps but as the cups are quite narrow and short at the sides (for an Elomi of this size) it might not help much. It does hold everything in place well for swimming, even with my rambunctious kids.
The print is an absolutely gorgeous multicolored shell print. My son for some reason thinks it's great (that's a first!). My daughter thinks it's so great I'm getting her a matching one in 36F. As Adore Delano would say, "I'm a goddamn mermaid!"

Heartwarming :-) You both will be gorgeous at the pool!
It really is amazing because previously she said she didn't like my style. I think she's at the age she's trying to differentiate herself from me. I told her we should wear it different days and try to confuse the pool staff. ;)
What a gorgeous print! I'm sure you'll both look awesome in it!
GORGEOUS PRINT! I'm not a huge fan of prints, but this one is awesome!
Thanks everyone!
Great quality, pretty good depth at the wire for a molded cup. I owned this bra in its largest size and just bought it in its smallest size for my daughter. We will see how it fits, but I'm happy to get a bra for her that's high quality and comfy while providing her the invisibility under clothing she desires.
Update: unfortunately, the bra is too narrow and the gore is too wide for her.

I was watching one like this on EBay and someone snatched it before I did ;-) ;-) I'm eager to read about your daughter's experience with this model.
Thank you for the measurements!!
If it doesn't fit her you can have it!
Thanks to your measurements, I now know it is too narrow. SIgh. Hope it is super comfortable for her!!
This @Elomi is incredibly sexy and I adored the J hook. I felt my posture improve with my shoulders being guided to the correct position. I loved everything about it except that the wires were very "heavy duty" and stiff. I couldn't see myself wearing it for extended periods of time.

The gore is too tall and wide for me. It's comfortable at the beginning of the day, but I can hardly wait to get home and take it off. The cups are also too tall for me and so the tops end up empty and I have to go re-adjust. I also find that it cuts into my upper armpit (not the wire, the cup) and I tug at it frequently to relieve the pain. It feels like the top of the band (not the entire thing) creeps down through the day and pulls the top corner of the cup further into my armpit.

This is the first properly fitted bra I've worn in years, after finally relenting and buying something with the right cup size.
Good points: Very comfortable, and supportive. At first I was taken aback by how unsquished I felt. But when I looked in the mirror, everything was lifted up and looked nice and round, not squished! Also, the Caitlyn comes in colors other than nude and black! I went with purple. It's a sensible bra that is also pretty with the lace and a bow at the front. The straps don't fall down. The cups felt a little big at first, but once I scooped/swooped the cups were ... filled in nicely.
Unsure points: I think there should be another hook at the back closure; however, this may just be because I'm used to Cacique bras and their 5-hook closures. I also wish the bottom of the band didn't roll, but that's to be expected when you're squishy like me. It rolls pretty bad.
ETA: I've recently lost some weight, and the cups are just a tad loose on me. I will keep it around for PMSing.

Ditto for the 5 hook closure! My old bras, like Bali Flower, had 5 hooks, so loved it. But outgrew Bali FLower, so it seems like I am trapped in 3-hook land. :\
Fits correctly according to the calculator - my measured size was 36K and this is the nearest sister size available at 38JJ. 36K would have been better as the band does ride up after a few hours. Very wearable though.
The elastic is wide and comfortable and comes in under the cups well.
The closure is the sort you squeeze and pull out a tab from a slot like the waist strap on a backpack. You really need two hands to undo and to do up but that's better than them coming randomly unclipped I think.
Shape is quite wide but reasonably uplifted. It looks decent under a top. The neckline is not so high as to make scoop neck tops unwearable.

I had this model in a 42N before breast reduction, and fit better than any other. After breast reduction, at a 42G (I ordered an F) just sadness. The quality of previous purchases was fantastic, this one is wonky. My quality/comfort/appearance ratings are based on previous experience. The main reason I ordered now is because I loved it so much before.
I don't know what's up with the center gore, it presses in and puckers weird. Maybe I got a defective one. Left cup fits ok, right one has enough extra space for a fist. The cups also have some weird puckering, again not sure if it's fit or defective.

Gaped to much at the top of my breasts. *Maybe* might be worth a try in 38G instead of 38GG, but may fit the same.

Fits much more comfortably than the Elomi Caitlyn in the same size, but still too big. Wires in armpits. Gore doesn't tack. Cups baggy. If the gore would tack, it would fit perfectly.

Cups too large but gore does not tack.... that does not seem right. But the band rides up a little in your fourth photo. How about @40:14? I am a little smaller than you but I had to go down in band size and way up in cup letters before I got the gore to tack.
Wires are immediately uncomfortable in underarm. Cups baggy.

For general fit info, see my review of 38J - Elomi » Maya Plunge Bra (4210) which fits exactly like this bra but with a bigger band and very slightly taller profile, due to scaling on the larger band.
Same excellent fabric. This bra sports a heart charm. Band is firm but stretchy. I wore it with an extender and it fit well. Love love love the print which is adorable as well as subtle. It's sort of a must-have for a reader/writer like me.
I will be returning it and buying a 38J on ebay.

Adorable!!!! That fabric is unique and interesting: I'm smitten ;-)
Encompasses my breasts and gives good shape. The lace on the wing rubs on my underarm too much.

Way too huge on me - tag says UK 40H, and US 40K. Underwire goes too far into armpit.

One of my favorite styles, but in smaller siz, @40:8 and @40:9
I really WANT to like this bra. It's pretty, and the fabric & general construction of the bra is really high quality. I've never had an issue with the quality of Elomi bras, but this one is really nice. The fabric on the cups just FEELS sturdy. I also like how much fabric is on the band underneath the cups. A lot of people with my figure like bandless bras so the fabric doesn't bunch up; I find having a lot of strong fabric down there also eliminates the problem. It does make my stomach look rather odd in the front facing picture, but I didn't notice it ... under clothing.
I love the rounded, forward and natural shape I get from this bra. It's not an east-west shape, but my breasts aren't as HELLO HI HOW ARE YOU DO YOU SEE ME????!!! as they can be in an Ewa bra. The wires are perfectly narrow and low, which helps make up for their length. By my eye they look to be pretty much in the middle of my arm pit, but I didn't feel them at all.
Obviously, the bra doesn't quite accommodate for my center-fullness. There's a tiny bit of breast poking out over where the cup and gore meet. A little more stretch lace here would solve the problem, I think. I did the shake and jump test and no more tissue spilled out. If this was my biggest problem with the bra, I'd keep it.
What makes the bra unwearable for me is the in-cup quadding. I attribute it to the elastic at the very top of the cup. With my soft tissue, it's like snapping a rubber band against arm fat (not the pain part, but how the rubber band causes indents in the skin). I really couldn't get a good picture of it, but that is the perfect simile. I am tempted to remove the elastic somehow, but I'm not sure what that would do to the shape. If I ever see one of these on sale I might try it, but I'm not willing to alter a $66 bra.
I think this bra would work well for someone in my range who need narrow wires, but has tissue that's less soft, less center-full or perhaps just a smidge fuller on top.

Wow, pretty and theoretically my size but it doesnt look projected enough. Or really big enough. I mean, I wear 32JJ in panache, you'd think that would be big enough. I just dont see it.
Thanks for reviewing and measuring. Do you find the band tts? I was considering getting it but I'm in between 38 and 40 and not sure how the band material stretched considering it's the same as the cup.
Adorable colors :-) :-)
cupandahalf The band was firm but stretched without feeling like it was about to rip out the hooks or anything. I had it on the second row of hooks here. I'd buy it in a 32JJ if I could. IME Elomi bands stretch out pretty well so I would err on the side of 38. Sorry I didn't take a stretched band measurement, but I try not to in bras I know I'm going to return.
dbmamaz I wanna say maybe because the fit was very forgiving. If it helps, I comfortably wear a 34J in Panache and find a 34JJ to be big in the cup and especially the band.
This is the cutest, most comfortable bra that's ever blessed my boobs. Almost everything about it is perfect. Almost. Being that it's not padded in any way, it gives my soft breasts a little bit more of a cone/pointed shape than I'd normally like, but I'm slowly learning to not care too much about that. Also, the seams are kinda visible under thinner fabric tops, so you might not like it if that sort of thing bugs you.
I'm a little concerned about the build quality. I've had this bra about a month now, and there have been some loose threads here and there since Week 2. I'll admit though, it's been machine washed a few times, and I am a little hard on my clothing in general.
All in all, I love this bra. I find it very comfortable, and seeing the adorable strappy parts peak out when wearing lower cut tops makes me probably happier than it really should lol!

My first impressions on this bra was that there was a lot of it! It was too big for me and is being returned, however I included measurements incase it might help someone in the future. For me, the problems were:
Cups about 2 sizes too big. Denting in the moulding because I couldn't fill it.
Underwire goes really far to the side - middle of my armpit.
Band sits too high under my arm.
Center gore lays flat but presses upwards creating uncomfortable pressure.
Bra overall is too high up top - would interfere with clothing choices.
Material pretty stiff all over - very noticeable while wearing.
Separates a bit too much for me - I prefer my breast a bit closer together, and it also turned my breast outwards - again, this is probably because of the fit being wrong for me.
A lot of these "issues" are because it didn't fit me, however. If the sizing is proper for you, I think this would be a nice bra.

I'm not crazy about brown bras, but I imagine this would make a really lovely nude on someone with darker skin (I am pasty freckled pale.) I bought this one because I wanted to try Elomi, and I thought the three part halfcup might have enough projection at the wire for me. My initial impression is that it's doing pretty well at the wire, but the gore is too wide and resting a little on my breast tissue. On the plus side, it's a well-made bra, the fabric is silky, and there's a very soft fuzzy felt-like casing over the underwires and on the underside of the straps.
In short:
- Okay immediate projection.
- Wide-ish gore.
- Wide wires.
- Very comfortable fabric.

I'm not crazy about this one. I have wide roots, but these wires are even a bit wide for me - more so than Panache, which fits me well. The side panels are too stiff, compared to the cup, and create a groove (at least with soft breast tissue like mine), and the overall shape is kind of droopy - it seems like the bra can't support the weight.
