38H - Elomi » Tia Bandless Bra (4280) is a lovely, but very shallow bra. It's very comfortable. It has pretty wide wires, but they're fairly soft, so they rest well, against the ribcage. This bra, however, is even more shallow than other Elomi bras tends to be. There is minimal projection at the wire and throughout the cup, which causes the gore and underwire to be pressed away from the body, similar to the way 38GG - Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) fits me. My tissue is also pressed upwards, even more so than usual, but as the cups are fairly tall, I don't experience much quad-boob. Overall a shape mismatch, but comfortable nonetheless.
I have short and narrow roots that are also placed high on my chest with a lot of projection, so the wire pokes at my armpits and is too high for my liking. It is very full coverage as well with some gaping at the apex. The gore is comfortable for me. I like the color as a perfect nude for me and I also like how it lifted my breasts up. The strap is adjustable enough that I didn't have to take it to its shortest length. I also like that it had the option to make this a racerback with the j-hook. The material felt scratchy particularly the side wires. I kind of wish I could have this bra without the sheer top part of it. I don't need all that material at the top.
This bra was one of my biggest “womp-womp” failures! For one thing, first and foremost, I *HATE* the material on this one! It’s so scratchy and uncomfortable! The cups were too small and my boobs crept up to find space so major quadding on this one. Also, the band was UNBEARABLE, like literally painful to wear, probably because the cups were too small.
What I remember about this bra was that the cups were too small and shallow. My boobs would creep up into the apex and leave space at the bottom and they quadded at the top.
I would not recommend this bra to someone with similar boobs. I felt like I had to stuff myself in, and I still couldn't get my breasts to fill out the cups properly. While also having them muffin top out the middle.
Needed more room in the cups to get the gore to tack, but sister sizing up to the equivalent of 34J was too big and baggy on the sides. The gore tacked, though! I may try one more time in a 36H and see if it fits any better.
The pattern on this is cute! And the band is a little more comfortable than the 34. The 34HH gore flips to one side and doesn’t tack. The cups also seem like there isn’t enough space in the front so I have to adjust to get them more to the sides. I’m having such a rough time finding a sports bra that fits my needs!
I had the opportunity to try this 34H Elomi Energise because I had a return credit from Levana Bratique. I personally felt/still feel that the 34HH fits much better, but Judy from Levana suggested a 34H because these bras run large.
In my personal opinion, (and this is nothing against Judy in any way — she’s a wonderfully sweet lady for reaching out and asking if I needed help) I think the 34HH fit better because it didn’t seem like t smashed my boobs together as much, and the gore seemed to be closer to racking (even though it still didn’t tack flat technically).
This 34H is a ...good combo of encapsulation and compression because it definitely compresses! I felt like it had better “jiggle control” than the other sports bras I’ve tried. Overall, I think I’m going to hold on to it in case it will be a better fit someday. Who knows, maybe it is comfortable for a workout in this size. 🤷♀️
I still think I’d like another in a 34HH, and I may even try a 34J with Prime Wardrobe to see if that’s any better. Read more 82 more words
i’ve had this bra for a couple months now and wear it whenever i need to wear a bra (besides when exercising) and it’s been one of the nicest bras i own. i particularly like the racerback clip as i find a lot of standard straps quite uncomfortable and i just like the way racerbacks feel on my body. one of my breasts is SLIGHTLY larger than the other and i find that with this bra it doesn’t affect the quality at all (just has absolutely minimal wrinkling on smaller breast). i usually wouldn’t have opted for a 10hh but it was the last size available in a ...buy 1 get free deal so i decided to give it a try. i find that usually 10gg/h fits me best so i might suggest going up a cup size with this bra as i feel if i had of gone with a gg/h i probably wouldn’t have gotten the same comfortable fit and i feel it might have been slightly small. i do find that the center does poke into me a little bit after a couple hours of wear, i have very sensitive skin so this does end up leaving red marks on me after wear but nothing too extreme (tho i tend to get marks even when wearing singlets sometimes). the pink detailing on this bra are really pretty and it makes wearing it all the more enjoyable. i’m hoping i’ll eventually get this in black as well. Not a good fit for my shape. Very East-West, it’s like the cups are so wide and separated that it shaped me weird. Not a big fan of the embroidery(?) on the top of the cups either. Even if it did fit, I wouldn’t like it because of that. The gore is nice and low which is a plus, but again because it doesn’t suit me it doesn’t matter how the gore fits lol. This was an eBay purchase. Listed for sale because it’s just not “me” plus the fit isn't right.
The beige/“Dune” colorway fits worse than the black one. It’s baggy on the sides/under the arms, and wrinkles way more. It’s not my favorite for sure, and even though it’s heavy in my rotation right now, once I’m able to replace it this is honestly next on my list to go!
Love the feel and look of this bra. I'm not sure whether it's the wrong size or shape for me, but the band rides up and the cups don't give me the lift I would like.
This bra fits mostly apart from the sides. They were too short for my wide roots and my breast tissue spills over the sides. The color is very cute though and its very comfy otherwise.
The quality of Elomi is always great, this is my favorite and most comfortable plunge bra I own. Because I wasn't used to wires tacking and it was uncomfortable I bent the tip of the wires outwards slightly to keep from digging into my chest. Once I did that the uncomfy poking went away.
My holy grial bra, honestly. Its my most comfy aside from Sculptresse sport. Its a perfect fit for my shape which is pendulous and slightly wide rooted I believe. It gives me the lifted and rounded shape I prefer.
I found the band to be too tight. Maybe not enough for a 46 band, but tight. The side cup changed the natural shape of my breasts, giving them an unnatural look. The straps are a bit tight if used with the J-hook as a racerback. It's a shame, because it looks and feels really good.
Very similar fit and shape to Elomi Kim. but this is more rounded where the Kim is more pointy on me.
The cup is made out of stretch lace at the top and a sturdy mesh type of fabric for the rest of the bra. It's not as soft as Kim.
It has very wide wires like other Elomi bras also does.
The gore is short and nice, although slightly too wide for me.
Band is TTS.
Sadly the bra is just a shape mismatch for me as I gave gaping on the sides and wrinkles in the bottom of the cup with some quadding in the top of the cup on my right breast (which is slightly bigger)
Note: I'm only reviewing the bra with the J-hook fastened as a racerback (not with the separate straps) because that's how I wear all my bras
I bought this bra along with the Charley and Mitzi (Elomi). From these three, I consider the Charley a good fit for me, so I'm basing this review on it. The Carmen's band is the same size and fits the same: it's a bit tight, but not extremely uncomfortable. I'm waiting for it to stretch a bit. The cup fit is also similar. I have very slightly assymetrical breasts (only noticeable when wearing unlined bras), and you can tell with the Carmen. The ...elastic on the top of the band dug a bit onto my left breast, while on the right breast it wrinkled because I didn't fully fill it. This doesn't happen with some similar bras (Elomi Charley, Sculptresse Roxie), but also happened with the Elomi Mitzi. This issue I could let pass, but the main thing that made me return it was the way the outer cup on the sides shaped by breasts. It just didn't look as natural as other bras. Overall, it was a nice bra, wasn't uncomfortable, and looked good, just not on me. Read more 96 more words
It's way too small in the cups for you
