I really want this bra to fit, but it doesn't quite fit. The band is comfortable and the gore mostly tacks, but it slightly "turns left" to rest on my larger, left breast. The bottom of the cups is well filled and doesn't give me the strange "square boob" effect I often get but the top of the cups is much too big, with lots of wrinkling going on. I will (unfortunately) be returning this bra.
Like the other Elomi Cates and Caitlyns I tried, I like the shape and coverage of the cups on this 34H. The band fits well, snug on first hook but not too tight. I fill out the cups fairly well except for minor wrinkling at the top of the cup on my right (smaller) side. I like the satiny smooth fabric and pretty lace at the top of the cups. However, the wires are very wide - they lay about 2" past my infra-mammary fold on both sides. Also, the fabric on the side touches my tail of Spence in an annoying manner. I will return this bra and keep trying for a better fit.
Another bra that I wish would fit. I like the idea of the Etta because the issue I have with my other Elomi bras (Cate and Caitlyn) is that the part of the band that's under the underwire rolls over itself during the day and becomes painful. Etta has zero fabric in that location, so it looks like it would be an improvement, but I haven't found the right size yet. The 34 band is very tight on me (uncomfortably so) and the gore doesn't tack by about 2". I will probably reorder this in a 36 band and 1 to 2 larger cup sizes to see if I can find an Etta that fits.
The best sports bra I have tried so far. The band is tight, but not uncomfortably so (just right). The underwires are too wide for me and the gore doesn't tack by about 2" but the cups neither overflow nor wrinkle. The bra feels very supportive with 4 hooks per column. The fabric feels tightly woven and I get the impression that it would survive tough workouts. I might end up keeping this one, depending on what other options I can find. I might also reorder in a bigger cup size to see the difference but I am concerned that the underwires would then be even wider.
This bra has very, very large cups. I needed at least 3 cup sizes smaller. It's also way too high at the gore and under the arms. Wires are too high for my short torso.
This bra has a lot of fabric, but I think that't to be expected in a sports bra. It has underwires, so it's an encapsulation type sports bra. It has soft, satiny fabric that's quite nice against the skin. I haven't yet worn it for sports so I'm not sure how quick it dries yet. On me, the band is comfortable, I can adjust the straps properly and it seems like my breast tissue is well contained in the cups. The only issue I see so far is that the gore doesn't tack. I don't know whether that's normal in a sports bra or not so I haven't yet decided whether I will keep or return this bra.
Not the best bra for me. The gore is very low, so I don't feel supported and look like I have "butt crack cleavage" even though it tacks. Also, the 4 part cups are too shallow for me - they give my breasts a strange, almost square look. The fabric of this bra is very thin and almost see-through, like a mesh. I do not find it comfortable. One thing I do like about this bra is that it has 3 hooks per row; this makes it feel sturdier than many other bras I have tried in my size. I will be returning this bra as it's not for me overall.
I really wanted to like this bra. It looks beautiful and has soft, satin-like fabric. I like the shape of the cups (full coverage, but the lace at the top makes them feel lighter) and the fact that the straps are attached to the center of the cups as opposed to far off to the sides. I own the very similar Elomi Caitlyn in 36FF and the band on that is too big so I thought I would try the 34G. The band is shorter, so it's a better fit. However, the gore sits on the side of my left breast (the bigger one) rather than flat in the center. This bra also makes the top of my left breast look squished and wrinkled. My right breast fits the cup just right, so I don't think going up a cup size will solve the issue as the right cup would probably be too big. Also, the underwires poke me under the arm - they are too wide for me.I will be returning this bra.
I like the look and fabric of this bra. It covers and supports my breast tissue nicely. Unfortunately I think the band is too large since I need to wear it on the tightest hook for it to stay in place after only 2 weeks of use. If I put it on the loosest or middle hooks, it moves around and becomes uncomfortable. When worn on the tightest hook, it stays in place but the fabric of the band turns under itself and stays there part way through the day; this quickly becomes itchy and painful. Also, the underwires on this bra are quite wide; they reach about half an inch further than my inframammary fold towards my back. This means that I feel them under my arms when I move.
This just does not fit me, I'm not sure strapless is an option given my tall roots. The band is nice and tight and I think would provide good support if the cups fit. However, the cups dig in to the tops of my breasts and just give me a really funny shape. This in turn causes the wires to be forced down so it makes the band fit off too. Wish it would work because I need something for my wedding, but alas this is not an option for me. If you have tall/wide roots and pendulous breasts just avoid it all together...
Material is comfy, color is pretty. Gives a nice shape over clothing. But after four hours I want to take it off. The band bothers me but not sure why. Also the extra material at thr bottom of the cup makes me wonder if it’s too big?
I bought this bra in an online shop based on Bratabase recommendations. It somehow fits although I have some issues with it. First, the central gore is not laying flat, and the sides are empty and the fabric is shrinking. At the same time, the band is parallel to the ground, cups are full at the top, the band is hooked to the last row. The cups are soft, what is a bit of disappointment: I can see my nipples in some cases. Stretchy lace in nude color looks a bit cheap. I don't like the shape, it is too round for me, I prefer more lifted shape like Panache Jasmine. The bra is very soft, the band is not cutting into my body. Straps are wide and lay on my shoulders nicely.
I tried this bra in 34HH and 36H and found that the upper cup edge cut in somewhat, so I tried this size. It seemed to fit well when I tried it on, but on further wearing the cup is too big. The armpit edge cuts into my tail of spence. Also this bra might be less stretchy than the 34HH which was great except for the quadding. Using an extender helps a little with comfort but not quite enough.
One of the early purchases in my true bra size journey. This might have been the first bra I ever owned that the gore actually tacked. Alas, it is wide in the cups and not terribly comfortable. I've been wading it anyway.
The lace is quite textured and shows through thinner tops.
I bought this bra to alter. It fits well besides not being narrow enough/ gore too wide and tall. I’ve successfully altered this bra before a size smaller and my alterations on that were so comfortable. So far my alterations on this one look great. I may have to buy up a bunch of these as it looks like Elomi might be discontinuing it this season https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This has the tallest cup I've ever encountered--9.5". On my short-waisted frame, it is super oversized.
The cup is the deepest wireless bra I've encountered, too. At 7" wide and 10.5" deep, it has excellent apex projection and mediocre immediate projection.
For close-set and center-full breasts, this may not fit. However, if you are just center-full, it does provide more center projection than most wireless bras. Personally, the gore is too wide and prevents my breasts from sitting inside the cups. When I shift the cup .5" toward center, the cups fit substantially better. Otherwise, they are colliding with the outer cup seam.
The nursing clip.....I couldn't release it. And, I've had four years of practice. I can not recommend this bra for nursing.
The band is wide, supportive and 30" long, unstretched. So, on my 28" underbust it simply flails around and provides no support.
The materials are soft and supportive, but it is a complete failure on me.
Oh my gosh! That would be terrible!! Best of luck finding a great stash!
