Too tight in the cup and loose in the band for me. Needed a different size, went up in the cup and down in band. Snagged a 34H and it's now my go-to bra. It was the 36GG for a small moment, but turns out I was bloated for shark week. 34H fits for the rest of the month.
This bra fits like a dream. I got it in another color (Festival Pink) and I'm so glad I found it. I thought the 36GG fit me the best, but the band on that is a bit too loose. It fits great when I'm on my cycle though, so that's nice (I was searching during my bloat period without realizing it, lul), but for the rest of the month, this is my everyday bra. My first test drive was a day at Universal Hollywood. It was a long day, on and off heat. The bra was comfortable the whole time. It's not the most breathable under super heat, but it will serve me well indoors and the short bits I'm outside. I'm going to copy pasta this review to the other color of this same bra, since it fits exactly the same, but I want to post both of them. The pink one is so pretty. Oh man.
I love this bra. I want one in every color. I have such trouble with either the gore being too high, or the cut near the armpits being too high, the straps being too wide, or the wires being too narrow. I don't have any of those worries with this one. The pattern is so cute. I've been trying on bras for weeks, so to find one that I can wear all day, including lounging about on the couch, and it doesn't pinch, chafe, or stab into me, I'm so relieved!
If you're looking for a bra to get in a size slightly too small to give you the push up look, this might be the one for you. It's lightly padded/lined and hikes the girls right up. For me the bra cuts in too much across the chest for any of my needs. I just wear t-shirts, so the quad boob is real with this one, but this is wildly not in my size, however, the SO liked the look of it when I tried it on.
First of all, this color is gorgeous. I would love the Elomi Kim in this color. Fabric doesn't feel as breathable as I'd like and the shape seems to push my breasts out to the sides, which is a really odd look for how close set my breasts are. It just looks very odd, and the gore is floating at the top since it's trying to wedge in where there's no space. Not a terrible fit. Does seem to chafe a bit around the sides and the band is too tight. It cuts lower than the 34GG does around the armpit area, which is nice. The cups are not wide enough for me though, and the bigger cup sizes have a higher cut around the armpit.

Not a terrible fit. Does seem to chafe a bit around the sides though. It cuts across my tail of spence though, which is not very comfortable. I think the cut is just a bit too high for me. Narrow shoulders probably contribute to this a lot. On that note though, the straps do fit pretty well.
Amazon Wardrobe trial/fitting. Band,Wires, and straps are all great. Cup volume seems ok. Im a little puffy at top-center but only the very slightest bit. Also the very slightest gapping at strap connection as if my roots are just a tiny bit shorter. Gore floats a little, but doesnt seem to have breast tissue underneath/trapped, just too close set for the width to settle against sternum. One of the best fits I've found. Not a fan of the bumpy lace/trim on all edges. Biggest issue is slight nipple bump can be seen through padding.
This is my fourth attempt at making Etta fit, and I'm almost there. The band is comfortable on the first set of hooks. The gore mainly tacks but twists towards my left (bigger) breast as the day goes by (it's not painful). The underwires are wider than my IMF, reaching to the middle of my underarms, but they don't hurt. The bottom of the cups is well filled and doesn't give me the weird square shape I often get. There is slight wrinkling at the top of the cups. Overall this bra is not perfect but at least it's wearable.
I seem to have the same problems in bras that you do, but I think 1 cup size bigger on average. I read your other reviews hoping you found something that fit better, since I am searching for bras again. Elomi Etta is the best fitting one I have found so far in 36GG, but I have the same problem with the wrinkling/extra space on top, and wires being too wide. I'm just happy to find something where the wires aren't too long and end up poking me under the arms. Sadly they discontinued it, and I haven't tried Lydia, which is supposed to be based on Etta.
I'm in the process of trying to find my size in this bra, because I like the fabric (very soft) and the color (neutral), so I would really like it to work. In some sizes it almost fits, but 34GG is not one of them. The band is snug but livable in 34", but everything else is too small so I'm getting quadboob as well as butt crack cleavage above the tacking gore. I will be returning this bra.
On me, the band is ton the loosest hooks and the gore tacks. Unfortunately, everything else is too big: the top of the cups is empty (I can fold 1/2" of fabric over itself on both sides), there is lots of wrinkling at the inner bottom part of the cups and the side fabric fold over itself where it touches my Tail of Spence. The fabric is very soft, which I like, and the color is a good neutral for a very white-skinned person like myself. I will be returning this bra.
The 34" band fits comfortably/snugly on the loosest hooks. The bottom of the cups are well filled but there is minor wrinkling at the top of the cups. The gore tacks. Unfortunately the wires are much too wide for me, they reach all the way to my back past my underarms. The side fabric is much too tall and ends up folding over itself where it touches my Tail of Spence. It also wrinkles quite significantly along the side seams on both sides. The fabric is nice and soft, quite satiny. I will be returning this bra.
Credit where credit is due: I didn’t HATE this bra like the other two Elomis. I didn’t really like it, either, though. It’s comfortable and supportive and yes, it’s smoothing. It does exactly what it says it will do. It was just clearly made for a woman with a wider frame and wider roots than mine. I might actually like this bra better if I try it in 34FF. As it is, it’s just kind of loose on me around the sides. I won’t be keeping this in this size, but I may exchange it for a 34 band just to see if I like it better that way.
Elomi is now two for two with bras that give me LOL-worthy quadboob. This bra fits me even WORSE than the Elomi Carmen, and that’s quite an accomplishment. It seems to run very small, and the fabric has almost no give. The pattern is cute, and for someone with more firmness and shape of their own to push back against the stretch lace, it might work really well. But for my soft, pendulous rack, this was a big NO.
Oh lawd, no! LMAO! I have nothing nice to say about this bra. Too wide, too shallow. The underwires wrapped almost to my back while the elastic on the stretch lace caps dug into my breasts and gave me comical, sci-fi level quadboob. The part of my breast that did fit into the cup was smashed into a weird pointed grandma shape. This is the worst bra I’ve ever tried on, like hilariously bad. It’s going back.
This bra has nice soft fabric. On me, the band is comfortable and the gore tacks. However, the top of the cups is wrinkling and the wires poke me under the arms. This bra, like most of those with a vertical seam in the cups, also gives me an odd and almost square breast shape.
The fabric of this bra is very soft, which I like. The band fits comfortably and the gore tacks. I find that the wires follow my IMF much more closely than those of my other Elomi bras. The gore is very short so I have quite a bit of breast tissue above it in the center - this might be normal since this bra is a plunge and I don't usually wear plunges. This bra gives me a strange almost square breast shape, which I find is often the case in bras with vertical seams in the cups.
This bra is very pretty, with nice scalloped edges along the cups. The band is on the loose side of comfortable. The gore tacks well but (as usual) turns left towards my larger breast. The wires are wider than my IMF but don't poke or hurt. I'm getting some wrinkling at the upper and outer part of the cups (near my underarms). I like that this bra is bandless, which saves me from the issue I have in banded Elomi bras where the band turns under itself as the day progresses and then starts to hurt.
I bought this 36G Elomi Etta to see if it fit better than the 36GG I already own since the top of the cups wrinkle quite a bit in the 36GG. I must say the 36G is a lot better in that regard as there is almost no wrinkling at the top of the cups. The band is comfortable and the bottom of the cups is well filled. However, the gore doesn't quite tack 100% (seems to be missing about 1/4") and turns left towards my bigger breast. Other than that, this bra is bandless, which is something I like since the bands on my banded Elomi bras tend to turn under themselves and hurt. (I think this is due to the cups not being deep enough and my breasts pressing down and forwards on the cups).
