    This bra tends to run small in the cups. lt doesn't have stretch lace in the cups so it really doesn't confirm my breasts

    Cate in the guava colorway is bright and festive. It is not ornate, but pretty enough and quite comfortable. I personally don't like the shape it gives, though.

    Cate has smooth, satiny bottoms with non-stretch lace uppers with a pattern of tall arches. The gore is a breathable mesh. The straps are ridged on the top surface, felted below. They are fully adjustable, but keep in mind that when tightened, the ridges on the top wrap around to the bottom, which may be uncomfortable if you have sensitivities. The cup of the cups is more triangular on top, giving quite full coverage. Cate also appears to have more fabric in the upper cup than some other models, leading to a lower apex. On me, this leads to a cone shape that I can certainly do without. Cate also is wider in the cup and gives a wider profile than the Morgan or Kim.

    Mia is based on the Matilda, and not surprisingly the fit is similar. The largest difference is in the fabrics, with Matilda being a delicate mesh with an embroidered pattern of dots arching gracefully from the tops of the cups down the gore and Mia being more just a basic workhorse bra with sturdy, heavy fabric lined with mesh and non-stretch mesh uppers. Not much in the way of design, beyond a keyhole opening in the gore and a plain silver pendant handing from a square-shaped bow. The top cups have an elastic edging and the straps are fully adjustable.

    Didn't fit

    It definitely looks like a grandma bra but a little cuter, but fit is what I was looking for. The black color seems to run small as the 38gg (nude) and 38h (black) fit the same. When I first started wearing it it felt uncomfortable as in like restricted arm movement for some reason, now its better and I think its currently boobs restricting some arm movement and the bra is fine. Also I'm wearing 1 cup size too small because of the thing with the color and I needed a bra immediately so I choose the best of the two and the black was too stiff.

    I oredered a UK 34J, but was sent this US 34J (with a hanging tag label of UK 36HH!), so I am just including the measurements before sending it back. For a full review, see 34J - Elomi » Charley Plunge Bra (4380) . Sorry no pics of the bra on - I can't get into it, haha!

    Charley has a four part cup construction with a side-support panel. The top is a non-stretch mesh panel with an elastic strip on the top edge. This model has pretty meadow flowers embroidered on the top mesh. The bottom cups are a lined mesh covered with a diamond pattern netting that is a little scratchy at first, but not bothersome under clothes, *except* that the band rolled under within just a few minutes of putting it on, and so the scratchy netting was abrasive under the wire. The straps come with a built-in J hook for wearing in racerback style if desired.

    Shapewise, the cup is slightly narrower than the Matilda's and the cup slightly deeper, just a hair more projected maybe. I had a little more wrinkling in the cups which makes me suspect I could size down, and that may be why I felt like the apex was sitting just a little lower than on Matilda. Otherwise very similar.

    ABOUT THIS BRA
    This is a seamless, unpadded, full-cup, underwire NURSING bra.

    Purchasing:
    * Purchased while ~8 months pregnant guessing at my post-partum size. Guessed wrong so tried on but never wore.

    Band:
    * One layer of smooth stretch mesh.
    * Wing support: seaming.
    * Full band - band is straight beneath wires.
    * Back close with 4 columns of hooks (yes, 4).

    Straps:
    * smooth elastic
    * soft (don’t stand up on their own)
    * full adjust
    * leotard back
    * single position nursing clasp - side squeeze style

    Cups:
    * seamless full cup (nearly a full cup, straps are just outside of apex)
    * Inner support is a single circle (donut shaped) with a seam below the apex (not just the ... usual strap of elastic).
    * unpadded, soft underwire
    * Inner top edge of cup is edged with stretchy seaming. Outer cup edge is elastic that continues to top of band.
    * Both inner and outer cups are contructed of a single layer of non-stretch, opaque knit.
    * Soft, barely molded cups (no foam).
    * Drop cup nursing access.

    ABOUT ME: petite with wide, horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
    * average projection (not shallow nor super projected)
    * average-set (one finger width of space between breasts)
    * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
    * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
    * short root height, average vertical placement
    * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
    * conical shape (but will squish to round)
    * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FoB due to short roots and soft tissue
    * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
    * front (anterior) rib flares (not usually a fit issue, but I like that longlines make them disappear)

    FIT DETAILS
    Note: This is how it currently fits me. I don’t remember how it fitted post-partum, just that it didn’t fit.

    Band:
    * length: band rides up
    * wings: height good, smooth line

    Gore: Tacks. Height & width fine.

    Straps:
    * Feel wide-set but don’t slip with movement.
    * Adjust short enough.

    Cups:
    * Wire sits on axillary breast tissue.
    * Top of cup: wrinkles or gaps (expects more upper fullness)
    * Bottom of cup: wrinkles or gaps (not enough immediate projection at wire). Wire pushed down to find more cup depth.
    * Cup apex: fits (not too deep, too shallow, nor off-center)
    * Give a round, projected shape.

    Assessment & Plan:
    * Didn’t fit when nursing and never returned, probably due to new parent exhausion.
    * Have weaned last child so no longer need. SELL.

    An Amazon Wardrobe try on.
    Band/ straps/ wires all fit comfortably. I'm not using the J hook, but I think there should be enough strap length for that if I fully loosened the straps (It is an awkward place to reach to for me). I was afraid the gore would be too wide, but its low enough that its not a problem. I puff out very slightly in the center above the gore, but the is honesty the best for how close set I am that I've tried besides the Elomi Cate, which encompasses that tissue. Cup volume is fine, however I do have the slightest nipple bump coming ... through the molding/padding.

    two month wear update: I have this in both black and tan now through Ebay. I really wish the padding was thicker, because I still get nipple bump issues. I'm a little close-set for the shape, and a little more projected in shape, so I do have to push the girls apart and let them be a little flattened to get it to fit well when I put it on. Still one of the best-fitting options I've found so far for a padded 34H bra. At the end of the day I occasionally have some irritation where the top of the cup/band connection area will rub/annoy my tail of spence area. I wish it was ever-so-slightly shorter there.

    Month 3 update: The front of bra fabric at the top of the cup is now peeling off the cup foam- it's not the fabric unraveling, but just the thread seems to have pulled out. I'm treating these bras excellently- not wearing twice in a row, rotating with others, washing every 5th wear or so. I'm really disappointed that they haven't held up better.

    Band gaps in the armpit. A smaller band size might correct this issue, but it isn't made in a 34D. (Smallest cup in a 34 band is an G.)

    I first bought a Matilda in 36HH and had the same issue with the band being too stretchy and riding up that I have had with other Elomis. The bra fitter at Nordstrom's recommended I don't try to size up a cup, and I think she was right. In fact, I'm almost wondering if I could size *down* a cup, since this one is still a little droopy shaped. But surely a 34HH would be too small?

    I like the look of the Matilda and find it scratchy when I first put it on, but then really comfortable as soon as my body adjusts to the fabric. I ... find Elomis more comfortable than Panaches generally and don't have the problems with the wires going too high, even though the wing height is one of the taller ones I've tried.

    The Matilda is a four-part cup with sheer, non-stretchy mesh on each panel. The top panel with the embroidered decoration is a finer mesh and the side support panel appears to be reinforced with a second ply. The mesh on the wings is stretchy. Elomis always have really nice, soft felt covering the wires, band, and straps. Oh, the Matilda also has a built-in J-hook to wear the straps in a racerback configuration.

    I keep coming back to Morgan. The 36HH - Elomi » Morgan Banded Bra (4110) was the first bra I kept from Nordstrom's at the beginning of this journey, and I've tried it also in 34JJ - Elomi » Morgan Banded Bra (4110). The 36HH didn't quite tack and the band rode up, so I initally thought the smaller band/bigger cup of the 34JJ was better. But when I went back to Nordstrom's, the fitter convinced me to try this 34J. Even though it has the same volume as the 36HH, this one does tack. It seems like the best size for me in Morgan so far, but I am concerned that the cups might be just a smidge tight.

    The cups are a four-part construction with a double layer on the side-support section. The top panel is non-stretch mesh with an elastic band top edging. Straps are fully adjustable and have a built-in J -hook. The Etta is bandless, but I didn't notice any difference in comfort from this construction. For supposedly being designed for short women, the cups are pretty tall. I didn't care for cone shape or the east-west separation it gave.

    This Matilda is surprisingly comfortable! The mesh doesn't seem particularly soft, but it's comfy enough I think I could wear it all day. The 36HH size is probably wrong for me, as the band is not tight enough. Elomis seem to be stretchier. The top cup is non-stretch mesh, so full-on-top ladies may have more difficulty. I think I'm pretty even vertically, so the cups fit nice and taut, but not tight. I have ongoing difficulties with bands slipping down out of my IMF, maybe due to shape issues, and this is no exception. A 34 band may help.

    I had to put in wires that are 1.5 inches shorter on the side and about 1.5 inches narrower and I can finally wear a bra with wires all day again, which is great because I was getting shoulder and neck pain from my wireless bras. I’ve tried this bra or variations of it so many times: 38JJ - Elomi » Lottie Plunge Bra (4180) I wore for over a year 3 times a week until it wore out. The wires don’t work for me but the rest of it does.
