The band's pretty stretchy, and I'll have to take it in soon. The cups aren't quite deep enough - the lace hides a bit of quadding - but I think a 28E would be a bit too deep. Keeping it as a comfy at home bra; will probably fit better at different times of the month.
As always, the straps are murdering my armpits by being too far apart. It does not help that these are thick, stiff straps, which bite in, so if you're narrow framed like I am, and have this problem with straps always being too wide set, either pass on this or replace the straps with thinner, softer ones. The biting in of the straps makes this unwearable after only a couple minutes. I like the fit of this bra so I will be keeping it and replacing the straps. Yes, they will still be in my armpits, but at least won't be hurting.
I have tall roots and have ...problems with plunges that are closed on top cutting in. This is a great fit for my narrow projected breasts. There is no gaping, no wrinkling and no cutting in on my larger side.My smaller side has a little bit of wrinkling. It is not the most supportive bra. The wire is firmer than I like because I don't have much padding around my rib cage, but it doesn't seem to bother me. I will have to alter this band down to a 26, but it is not as stretchy as some freya bands. It's a cute design and is prefect with this warmer weather.
I normally wear 30D but sister sized down because of the stretchier bands of the Freya bras. 28DD fits me in terms of size but it is not quite the right shape for me. I have some space in the outermost top part and I spill over in de inner part. The gore is to wide for my close set breasts. I altered the gore and that improved the fit a lot. Now it fits me good on my bigger days and on my smaller days I could use a bit more upper fullness. (I have slightly shallow and short rooted breasts) The bra is not really smooth under tight or thin shirts and also the polka dots are visible.
Definitely not for someone who isn't full on top. The cups angle out at the top leaving a giant gape on me.Might be better as a size down for someone who is in between sizes too
I bought this one due to the pretty colour and my need of a neutral bra. Since it's not padded I chose to go down a cup size based on previous experiences (with other brands). The cups are a bit small though and do cut in at the top. I kept it hoping it would loosen a bit with time, which it didn't, and convinced that a larger cup size would be too big. The material is nice and soft, though with a synthetic feel to it. The quality of the lace at the bottom is not what I'd wish for.
About 1 year later I bought the Freya Icon moulded bra with roughly the same shape but 1 cup size bigger. Same problem here, it cuts into my boob along the inner edge of the plunge. Guess this style is just not for me
I've tried a lot of unlined bras, and this is the closest I've come to an acceptable fit. For us tall shallow ladies , the top is somewhat more open than other options and isn't quite as projected.
This is the first strapless I've tried in my correct size; the first strapless bra I don't have to constantly hike up. It's a great feeling. I read this bra tends to gape at the top, but I am full on top and don't experience this. Actually, I get slight quadboob. I own the bra in 28DD, a cup size down from my normal 28E. I would like to try it in 28E to see if I get the gaping I've read about. It's marked as "didn't fit" because of the slight quadboob, but it's the best strapless fit I've ever had so I kept it.
This was an odd fit for me. It's a firm band, so it was a hair too tight. The plunge was a little too constricting across the top of my breasts, but I didn't have enough projection to fill the top of the cup. Super cute, and I love the material, but back it goes.
One of my favourite bras!! It is SO cute looking- full stop.
Band wise waa Abit stretchy and had to use second clasp already. Cups are very moulded so sometimes feel like I'm trying to fit into the bra rather than the other way round!
defibitely love the look of it and have also bought two sets of briefs to go with it. This is how much I love this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The only thing is, the polka dots and top seem can be seen through light coloured/see through tops so less versatile I guess compared to a nude bra for example!
The band fits well - I can now confirm that I fit best in a 28. For reference, I have wide, tall, and shallow root, breasts are close set, and full on bottom. I was able to fill out the bottom of the cup with scooping and swooping.
The top, however, is a different story.I'm beginning to piece together the shape of my breasts, and I can observe that I have very little top volume, so balconettes with a more open cup edge do not lay against my skin, If I made a seam between the strap and the wing of the bra, into the cup, the bra would fit. The center gore was also a little too high on my sternum.
Wide wires and half cup - perfect fit from my wide rooted, shallow ladies!
Band was slightly too big, has to use second clasp straightaway so abit of a shame really.
Freya bras will be PERFECT only if they were more true to size in their banding!! I have a small frame and rely heavily on bra companies to make snug 28s..
Otherwise lovely bra. The lace can be seen through tops as do the polka dots if you are wearing a light coloured/see through top. The back scratches a tiny bit, but that only happened initially. Also the wires were poking in slightly but after abit of bending it was fine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I have this bra in a cup size smaller than what I usually wear, and it still gapes like crazy at the top. This is a shame, because other than that I find this bra quite comfy, and it gives me some nice cleavage! The band is also true to size, I don't find it to be super stretchy like a lot of people seem to.
I was so excited when I saw this bra on sale on Amazon, because I thought it would be like the Natori Feathers. I was wrong. The strap placement on the cup is a little too centered for me, but that's not the real issue. It has this stretch lace that feels very forgiving - and isn't. It causes the weirdest case of quadboobing I've ever seen. I felt like the three boobed woman from Total Recall. Back it goes!
I have the same experience. I tried it in 28F (my usual Freya size is 30E) and it doesn't fit me. The lace cut in to my breasts and make quadboobs and also makes pointy look. I really want to see someone who is satisfied with this bra.
I really like this bra, but there's something kind of weird going on with the outer cup by the wing. It may be that I'm too conical and it's looking for a rounder projection; but it doesn't bother me and is almost unnoticeable.
Band stretches out to 29", which is great for me. Runs true to size in the cup. This bra is shallow, and broad cupped. It would have been broad wired only it doesn't have wires. The cups are also vertically constructed, so there's a lot of room in the upper portions of the cups for tall roots and/or FOT shapes. If you are short rooted and/or FOB, this bra might cause gapping at the top portions of the cups. The only thing I wish is that it were just a tad more projected in the bottom portions of the cups. It is *super* shallow there.
Measurements were taken after about a year of use. When I first got this bra it bit great and was my favourite one. However, I not notice that the bottom of the cup is too shallow and causes some weird distortion. It was some what fixes by loosening the straps completely. The wires sit about a thumb width outside my IMF. Feels small, love the shelf look it give though.
