Best fit I've gotten from this bra so far, but still not perfect. Feels equally comfortable on the tightest and loosest hooks, and definitely more secure in the cross-back strap position.
The fact is, it's just NOT short-person friendly, and the gore is way too wide for me. This may be the best I can do in this bra.
I'll have to take it for a test workout before I decide whether or not to keep it.
I was told that the band ran tight and the cups ran big on this bra. I find that the band is small and the cups are more similar to my other Panache 40GG than a 40H. For some reason this bra fits way worse on me than my other 40GG however, possibly because the other bra has stretchy cups. I feel like I would need a 42H in this to make it fit comfortably, and even then I feel the wires might be too long.
This bra came highly recommended from /r/ABraThatFits and as I need a properly fitting sports bra, I decided to try it out. The quality seems really high, it's pretty comfortable to wear, and it's nice and soft. It holds me down pretty darn well and I felt supported. I especially like the J-hook.
The fit and sizing is similar to other Panache bras, with a few exceptions. As mentioned by others the band is tighter. A 30 band is usually on the large side for me, but I wore this with an extender for comfort. The sides and cups are even taller than other Panache bras I've tried. The material goes almost all the way up to my collarbones, which is good, but there's too much room there to give sufficient support. Panache bras tend to have too much fullness on top for me, but with the thick material it looks kind of ridiculous. Perhaps that is needed ...for some, but I wonder if Panache has a problem with their scaling. Sadly a size down wouldn't have enough depth and width.
The wires are much less sturdy than normal Panache bras. They are still malleable, but it means it doesn't tack on me. (The thick material also doesn't help with that.)
It's comfy though. The support and lift is good and I'm more comfortable doing light exercise with this than I ever was in my old Shock Absorber compression bras. As long as I'm not supposed to press my elbows together in front, because there's too much stuff in the way. But before I do any running or jumping I need to find a sports bra that holds in the top of my chest better. Read more 125 more words
Last year, I found this bra in 30G to be an excellent fit, much better than the Panache Sport Sports Bra (5021)](model:11622) . See 30G - Panache Sport » Non Wired Sports Bra (7341) for a comparison review of the wired/wireless versions.
At that time, I tried a 30FF and found it to be too small (see 30FF - Panache Sport » Non Wired Sports Bra (7341)). I was spilling over the gore. The 30G was a better fit all over, although the cups were wide, and it had enough coverage for my upper fullness without conflicting with my short roots. It ...also gave me a really nice, rounded shape under clothes.
I have since lost weight and have been sizing down in all my bras from 30G to 30FF. I ordered this bra assuming it would fit in line with my new size. However, I have also had some shape changes and loss in upper fullness. This time, the 30FF still seems too big. The gore tacks fine and the cups feel comfortable at the bottom, but there is a load of empty space at the top. I can pinch a handful of material beneath the straps and across the chest. It also gives an unpleasant east/west pointy appearance.
I have tried it on a couple times and hope that these issues will be resolved by going down one more cup size and not that this bra is now a shape mismatch for me. I need a sports bra right away and would hate to have to start from scratch.
I still have a new 30G version in black geoprint that fits me very similarly to this 30FF in floral/gray, with just a tad more room in the cup. I wonder if the new colorways run larger in the cup? Even though my underbust size has decreased since last year (28.5 snug from about 29.5), the 30" band is still comfortable and supportive.
A lingering issue that repeats from the 30G is that the straps don't adjust short enough. The j-hook helps with that, but just another 1/4" of space would have been nice.
As for the appearance and quality of this bra, I really wanted the coral/gray colorway, but couldn't find a good price in my size. So I kind of settled for the floral/gray one (neither of these are "gray", but more slate blue, by the way), and when it arrived I was very happy with the it. It's a little over the top girly, but it's pretty and it's going to be under my workout clothes anyway, in which I will feel distinctly un-pretty, so why not? Also there were no pics on Bratabase of this colorway, so I've added some.
Notes on quality: In the photos, you may notice some buckling along the front seams of the bra material. I think they are all like this. Also sometimes it feels like the material comes away from the foam towards the band/bottom of the cup, like the outer material shifts, but I only notice it when I take it off and feel it, not when wearing. Again I have found that the interior foam of the cups seems to crease very easily inside, even when it fits well. That's annoying for me because I like my bras to stay in great shape for a long time. It doesn't appear to affect fit or comfort.
great sports bra, good support! i'd say size down one size in the cups, keep your usual band size. the shape isn't too bad, not super pointy and not squashed.
The first F cup these H boobs have worn in a loooong time! The FF is a better fit, technically, but allows a little more bounce so I opted for slightly too small on purpose. I also needed to size up in the band. So comfy, I can live in it. I've never tried running without holding my boobs or wearing two bras, but this makes it possible. And the lime combo is really cute! Worth the investment.
This bra allows quite some boob size fluctuation. If I wanted to wear padded Cleo bras (such as Juna, Darcy, Maddie, Karen) I'd go with a UK30E and with @B.tempt'd Ciao Bella I wear 30DD for the first half of the cycle and 32DD for the second half. However I don't get any quadro-boobing even though it should be two cup sizes too small. Since there are no wires they can't be too narrow or too wide but the moulded cups seem to agree well with the shape of my boobs. The centre gore can't really tack because there are no wires to make it tack, but I'm very ...pleased with the fit of the cups as they are very comfy. The shape under a shirt (which I didn't show because it's similar to the 30D, which I'll show as well) is rounded and uplifted. If you're in between cupsizes I would go with the smaller one. Since my skin got so sensitive (no idea why, not pregnant) I'm not a good judge for bands as I opt for as loose as possible without slipping, but I think if you're between bands I'd maybe take the bigger one. Currently I do not think I could give a bra excellent for comfort because eventually a particular spot on the underbust band will hurt, but it's very comfy. I also often wear it as an everyday bra as well, because the shape is so good and it's awesome support for hurting PMS-boobs. I'm not the biggest fan of colours, but the steely blueish grey and the coral of the bra are quite nice. To me it's still a big flaw that a sports bra is not made for machine washing because Shock Absorber sports bras usually are. Anyways, I'll probably get another Panache Non Wired Sports Bra in 32C if they release another colourway that I fancy.
This one looks like a molded bra under tops, love the bright colors and the racerback option. With the racerback unhooked, I get weird gaping the cups, so I always wear the racerback hook clipped. Best fitting sports bra so far.
Tight in the band but still really comfortable. No pain when running, so it does the job. The one eye on the loosest set was always loose and got all bent and had to be cut off so now I'm only able to use 2of the hooks.
Yet another great fit with @Panache sports bras! So comfortable! The band is snug, but never digs in. The gore is tall and wide, and usually that would never work for me, but it never bothers me at all with the soft fabric! The straps are where bra straps belong, up on my shoulders. Seriously some of the best lift I've ever experienced! Cups run one size large.
I've been slacking writing a review because I had not taken it for a spin so to speak. I know some women with implants have found this bra problematic but I love it. I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I'm still early so perhaps In another three months I won't like it as much lol As it stands now it's extremely supportive and comfy. The gore sits nice and flat against my sternum https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I can't do a smaller cup so I had to go up in band seeing as the 30 band only goes to an H cup ...it's ok at the moment but as it stretches out it may become an issue, more so since it's a sports bra which is valued by its ability to support the girls and reduce bounce. Ideally I would need a 30HH I believe. I tested it out in the treadmill and found it reduced most unwanted movement. The racerback clip helps even more with keeping everything stationary https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It's honestly not the most flattering bra even it does give great shape, it gives a lot of coverage perhaps too much for everyday wear Read more 99 more words
The band on the Panache Sport underwire sports bra is extremely snug on the last set of hooks. While I can get the bra on, I am choosing to use a band extender until the bra breaks in a bit more. The support is fantastic even with an extender, as I have taken this for a 6.4km (4mi) run with no problems. I tried on a 32DD sister size at BraTopia, but the fitter felt that I filled the cups better on the 30E. During certain time of my cycle, I would alternate between a 30E and 30DD.
This is the absolute best sports bra I've ever worn! I can now add Lindy Hop to my dancing repertoire because the girls are contained while I can still breathe! I purchased the cup size smaller than I normally get (2 sizes smaller than the Cleo by Panache Neve Plunge t-shirt bra that I need) & after wearing it nearly everyday for a month (it's comfortable enough that I'm considering it to be my everyday go to bra) it has stretched to fit perfectly.
I had to size quite a bit down in cup on that one too. (And up in band). :)
